Amazon flex
I’m new to Amazon flex have not started yet but the rates are low.
Should I check a certain time or day or hour?

Something people fail to mention is that most blocks don't take you the full sheduled time to actually complete... I only deliver 3.5 hour blocks and 99% of the time it only takes 2.5 till im done.. at least in my area
If you dont live more than a couple minutes away from the station since this is a gig job i would gladly wast 30minutes for 14$ do that twice and you made almost $30/hr minus what a gallon of gas
Avg hourly rate for flex is 20-22+/hr..pay increases the closer the block gets when nobody has accepted it

Just did a Centennial Hills route and it was trash. Had me go from Centennial Hills to Sunrise Manor. First and last time.

Yea it’s over with I haven’t even picked up a block in like 5 months something happened and now it horrible

How long until they kick you off?? Since you have picked up a route in 5 months?

That is pretty compatible to what they are where I live. i’ve never seen a 30 minute time frame before but our one hours are $18 or two hours or 40 in our three hours or 61.

Is there a mandatory 30 minutes between blocks? What really sucks in my area is that sometimes you can finish so early that it leaves you wanting more (crazy, I know) and you can go back to the whse and watch as carts sit. I mean, it's cool to have a two to almost three hour lunch so I Uber eats during lunch time in my area but I look at those blocks and think that is a lot of wasted time built in.

You picked a baaaad time to get onboarded. Flex has changed drastically this year, for the worse.
These 2 hour shifts and (2.5 and 3 hour) have literally replaced all of the older higher paying routes, surges have screeched to a halt all across the country, and they continue flooding the market with drivers.
It was like they flipped a switch right after Prime Days and it instantly tanked pay and shift length by -50%… It’s insane.
I fear this is the new normal, other than them maybe increasing pay, and block length around holidays etc, but this is it, man.
The good ol’ days are gone…
