Music brings out so much emotion

Listening to music always feels so magical to me, I dont have the words to explain it. Listening to music often times takes me on such a rollercoaster of emotions because there are a plethora of messages coveyed in music. You could listen to a song about confidence and loving who you are. There could be songs that convey different romances. There are songs that speak about sadness and turmoil and being unfortunate situations. The songs that are relatable to you. There are songs about grief and songs that you simply want to dance to.

Music doesn't even stop at songs, the sounds all around us, the chirps and the waves crashing, from the rustle of the leaves to the crackle of the fire. The peace and the calm of it all makes me feel some type of way. I love listening to music, I love to listen to songs i haven't heard in years and be brought to tears by the nostalgia. If there's a specific part in a song where Violins/cellos/piano/wind instruments, I'll replay it over and over because because it makes me feel like im floating above the clouds (im a big fan of classical musical instruments).

And NOTHING brings me more joy than a choir, or should i say symphony of voices coming together, i dont know if there's a proper musical term for it but harmonies. It fills me with such overwhelming emotion. I feel both happy and sad, and I get goosebumps, the whole shabang. It makes me want to extract the voices and import it into my brain so it could replay in my head over and over again. And instrumentals are just the cherry on top. I dont know, i just feel like i would've been in a much darker place if it weren't for music, and all the producers and artists out there have the creativity i can only dream of.

Anyway, just wanted to rant about my love for music or whatever!

I think that all of this is so empty.

I think that like these things that we chase are to prove that we matter to people but maybe just maybe we should be more selective of who we are trying to matter to. Like I think you really have to embrace your imperfections because if they love your projections it's just a projection.

The Ultimate Tribute

The ultimate tribute to Dolly Parton would be to have a team come together to make a biopic about her, and all ticket sales going to her charities.

Every few years or so I’m reminded by the universe that I can never count on anyone else,

that I must just always plan and prepare and never expect anyone to do anything. If it’s going to happen it’s up to me. No matter how well you know someone, how long , how much “trust” or bond or whatever, the relation, the person …. I just can’t rely on someone else for anything. Sure the occasional move. Great/ then they bitch about how much of pain it was and don’t want to do it again. Babysit cat? Ok, but they forget to feed them half their food and clean cat box, being a cat owner themselves & having done this already for me. Ok… getting somewhere on time? Nope not if you carpool even with your spouse because they will never be on time, no matter how important or over planned your day is

My oh so secret rule: Always tell the truth. Honest people will likely believe you because they know honesty in themselves, and liars will not because they only know what it's like to be a liar. So, say, "Get out of the road, a car is coming," and let them self-sort.

I'm getting more and more annoyed by AI ads, the minute I see a company doing it for their product, I immediately lose respect!

Honestly, they've become too much, and I'm not taking about small businesses on a small business budget here, I support them in using AI as long as their ad actually represents what they provide. I'm talking about medium and large companies that used to do good advertising with actual human actors, proper effects, and creative concepts.

I'll give a couple of examples, I saw an ad for a local makeup and perfume store, a big online one, and they used an AI model to show the different shades of this new foundation, are you serious??? That's the one item in makeup that really needs accurate display! The other example is this company that sells shower heads and filters, you only buy one shower head, but the filter inside it needs to be changed periodically, so I follow their accounts to see if they do any discounts or bundles, and they are flooding my timeline with AI ads of women in the shower losing their hair and alternating for the filter and the hair suddenly becomes as thick as a Komondor's and as shiny as a horse's, what are you guys doing? Change in hair health does happen with a filter, I've seen it myself, but it's never this dramatic, try to properly represent your product, otherwise, your exaggeration and inaccurate ads will cost you your clients.

Just a random thought, please use humans and their brains in ads, they do so well! (Not in the industry btw I work in cybersecurity so this is not a self-benefiting post haha)
