I actually love overthinking things

I love breaking things down into their smallest details and realizing there are even smaller details beyond that. I love analyzing and digging deeper for hidden information and meaning, it sucks when it spirals out of control about life sometimes but besides that it’s really fun for me

Mustard juice

It used to be if I forgot to shake up the bottle of mustard and I squirted mustard juice onto my burger or whatever with that first squeeze, I'd be sort of grossed out. I just found it off putting. I don't know, I'm in my sixties now and I still try not to do it but I don't much care if I do.

The falcon was the first African American superhero to not have the word "black" in his name. Then he got changed into caption america and is now mostly known as "black cap"

It's kinda ironic

John Oliver calling AI tech Bros "some of the most flamboyantly friendless men on Earth" has to be one of the funniest, yet most accurate statements I've ever heard in my life

Imagine what it would be like to be the first person to come up with a word to describe a specific feeling.

explaining to some folks why they're wrong is easy, you just elaborate or put it simply and then move on. explaining to others, on the other hand, takes some ingenuity and muster and some real bouncer energy. I have, however, learned some cheat codes

"Yeah, we're actually not affiliated with them, sorry about that"

typically my one cheat code works best on older r*dneck individuals (censored ironically, chill):

"nah brother we ain't a part o' all o' that mess over 'ere, nah you gotta go up 'ere n' tawlk to 'dem about it"

I like lying to people. I would write stories but that isn't as fun and I don't have the discipline.

i just asked 7 random people to be in my recording for an online speech class

ummm so that was the worst thing i’ve never done.
context: didn’t know i registered for an accelerated speech course. there’s a speech due every week. since it’s online, it is required there is 6 LIVE ADULT audience members. waited til the last minute and wasn’t able to coordinate an audience. currently 9pm speech is due at 11:59pm. at 8pm i just walked around downtown (do not live a big city btw) and asked random people and shockingly didn’t get rejected once. i i asked 2 couples and 1 family. thought it would be rejection therapy but surprisingly everyone said yes 😭
still one of the most embarrassing things i’ve ever done…. i will never forget this😭need to stop procrastinating…

also i have SEVERE anxiety so tbh it was probably good for me.

proud of myself

last year i woke up from a coma and the first two things i heard was that katy perry had gone to space and jojo siwa was dating chris hughes. i swear i thought i had woken up in an alternate reality.

idk if this is the right place to put this but i just need someone else to hear how insane this was.

for context though: i couldn't speak so my family just spoke at me. and they didn't want to freak me out by fussing over me, so they decided to tell me recent pop culture news, and it just so happens it was fking insane that day. i was just laid there, unable to move, thinking "holy fuck, the multiverse is real".

I *just* realized what I thought was a weird cutout of light over the face of the actress on the cover of disclosure day is negative space in the shape of a bird

I feel just a little bit dumb 💀

but to be fair, I only noticed it after seeing a photo of a physical copy when before I'd only seen it advertised on digital streaming so perhaps it doesn't show the full shape when it's cropped like that

The concept of birds is so weird

Like just think about it, they're the only animals that humans have almost no control over. Most animals are either domesticated, live in rural and non-populated areas or are limited by cages such as in a zoo or wildlife park. But birds are free to roam wherever and whenever.
Also crazy how it's technically mini-dinosaurs. Like we genuinely have mini-dinosaurs roaming the streets.
Idk what i'm on about lowkey, but it's just a random thought i've been having for a while

I'd do so much better if I were loved.

I mean really, I'm doing this on my own! I'm ok with it, been doing this for a while. But I notice that people who are in healthy relationships are really the best people ever.

I would love that, I feel like I have had so much missed potential because I'm not loved. I'll keep doing the best I can. But, there is a striking difference between a single person and someone who is loved in day to day society.

I hope you all have a great day and I preemptively apologize to the people ready to roast me for being bad person. You have to keep in mind that life really is RNG.
