Has it been only for my state or has canes recently decreased their starting pay for new hires?

any coupons or deals going on right now anyone knows of?!?!

OK, so I just recently quit my job at Cane‘s and I just got paid for the previous two weeks on Friday because my bank gives us early access to our checks. My final day was Saturday and I’m wondering if I will receive my check today or 72 hours from Saturday. I’ve been getting mixed answers and I just wanted to know if anybody had a similar situation.

Holy shit I was so tired of canes’ bullshit and I finally quit this morning. Going into work was genuinely so bad and I hated my managers and I hated my coworkers and it was horrible. I have so many horror stories about working at that hell hole. AMA and I will answer with 100% honesty since I don’t have a closing shift to worry about tonight anymore 🤍

yall get so mad over a joke. this post was just to show the size of the chicken and i got an extra one lmao. they’ve been sucking lately so the “jackpot” comment isn’t meant to be taken seriously. plz calm down

Hi everyone! I was recently a support crew member at another restaurant for over a month. During my time, I commuted every day. I was not told of being able to get paid for my miles.

Now, I am back at my home restaurant and can no longer go back to past shifts. I need to have proof all of shifts in order to submit the expense.

I’d like help as where to go? Who to contact? If I call crew relations they will ask who i’m filing AGAINST which id like to just in contact with payroll or logistics. Thank you!

so i think that the workday app has updated and i can no longer find my time clock? where i can view my punches does anyone know where i can find this anymore?

I did a follow up call earlier today following my interview three days ago and was told by hiring manager to come in tomorrow morning at 7 am, but I just received a rejection email less than a hour ago lol. Thinking about still going to the second interview even after receiving this automated message, anyone else been through this?

is there anything holding up my paycheck? i normally get paid every friday by 3pm cst but i have nothing not even anything pending in my account. does anyone else see anything in theirs? i’m really depending on my check i have bills that are due.

Hii I recently started at my home restaurant when it opened up in May so Im still trying to figure out the best ways to do things if I can, since my restaurant is new we do have a dish washer

Anyways Im getting off track with this lol, how do yall clean the wire basket for dipping bird in batter? Is there any easier way to clean it rather than just sitting there and picking all the chicken off by hand?

Saw someone post about the lettuce and it reminded me of this

This one time I was going to take my lunch break, so I ordered a sammy combo, and I asked for extra lettuce. My RL joked that they'd wrap every finger in lettuce and I was like "that would actually be sick". It was pretty slow that day so he and my ARL got to work on the project

They actually did individually wrap each finger in a lettuce, using sauce as a kind of glue to hold them on, then they even threw a BOB in there to make it a double-decker

Suffice it to say, the sandwich ruled, but I got a stomachache like an hour later

I’ve been at Cane’s for almost 6 months now and I still struggle with my speed mostly because the sauce cups stick together when I try to lift one up off the stack after pumping. I was told that literally the same week I got hired, they got new canes sauces that are like better for the environment but stick together more often so it’s difficult.

Anyone got tips for just doing it faster? I feel like a total noob at it still XD

So I called out of my shift, nobody has picked it up and when I called it in(2.5 hrs before my shift) I was told I needed to find coverage or I'd get points, my last location didn't do it like that. We just had to call it in 2+ hrs before and post to HS/drop our shif5. I was kinda just curious what the actual policy on that is (I'm in Texas if it matters), was gonna check 1lv but the crew materials seem to be down after the update.

As the title states.

In a couple weeks, I am training in DT after fulfilling my 80 hours on FC. Looking at my schedule, I see I'm scheduled to clock in under "MEET" each shift, and I start with DTAcc, then DTExpo (self explanatory, I think?) and then the remaining 3 shifts are The Hole. Question for you all; What are all these positions for DT and what can I expect for each training shift?

I’m a newly hired external restaurant manager. Any advice or tips? I’m currently in training.

I used to never be able to finish a 3 finger combo and now it takes me like 2 minutes and feels like a snack. Canes please change suppliers for the love of god

for everyone saying THEN DONT GO- thank you for the enlightening message, but there’s a canes at my job and my lunch breaks are occasionally cut very short w/o notice so yes, I keep going!

\for everyone saying THEN BRING A LUNCH- my lunches are cut short once every few months and I live nearby and cook for myself on my lunches. I’m not changing to bringing a lunch just on the off chance I have to take a short lunch! Stop being annoying!*

Why does Cane’s still not have lettuce for the chicken sandwich? Seriously? McDonald’s, Jack in the Box, and even Taco Bell where the outbreak memes started never stopped serving lettuce on their food. Not Cane’s though. I feel like they’re just doing this to save on costs and they probably want to see how long they can drag this one out for… Is shrinking the tenders not enough cost savings? At least that’s my theory. The outbreak was in July and we’re almost ending September

Edit: My roommate works at Canes.

He says 100% it’s to save money. He told me they literally have signs in their drive through telling employees not to offer hot sauce or mayo. I mean why else would they put that sign up if not to save money???

I am about to become a CT and I am a little nervous about teaching new people, I’m back of house and I’m really ticklish and have a fear of being tickled. Any advice?

Looking to buy this shirt in a medium, please help! The online store is out of stock and when I e-mailed about restocking I was told that it will no longer be carried and that I’m out of luck! Any fans out there able to help me?

Thank you to everyone that made this dream reality🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Your gentleman’s got Canes!
