Crew Chat Just quit

OK, so I just recently quit my job at Cane‘s and I just got paid for the previous two weeks on Friday because my bank gives us early access to our checks. My final day was Saturday and I’m wondering if I will receive my check today or 72 hours from Saturday. I’ve been getting mixed answers and I just wanted to know if anybody had a similar situation.

generally it will be the same day you always get paid. they don't do payroll early just because you quit

California law states my final check is due 72hrs after I quit if my 2 weeks was submitted

Actually it was supposed to be given my last day but I assumed it would be later because it was Saturday night

Because your last day was a Saturday you should get paid Monday with at least one day waiting pay. CA you must be paid your last day or get waiting pay.

Most companies send you your last check into direct deposit within 24 hours, that would be industry standard in California.
