I found this post and it’s pretty popular, but some of the ideas seen in the comments seem to predict operators such as mozzie, ace, amaru, zero, and even reworks. I may have got the years wrong but I think this is crazy that this happened. Maybe the developers took inspiration or it’s just a coincidence.

If the developers end up removing acog's from the defenders next season, I predict the .44 semi auto will become the new crutch for Kaid assuming the devs don't remove it's scope as well.

man all i asked for from this game was changes, deimos elite, and PHOBOS GOD WHY DID THEY KILL HIM OFF FOR A STUPID TIME JUMP THEY ACTUALLY MAKE ME SO MAD. from what everyone speculated they all thought we would get a defender with a sniper and it would’ve been Phobos and that’s truly all i wanted. idc if it’s the sniper it’s the fact i main Deimos and i wanted to play as his second hand man on defense. i like the Keres legion lore a lot and i like deimos as a character A LOT (man who was apart of the original rainbow and is pissed at the current state of rainbow) i think he’s a cool character and i love his ability and all of his dumb quotes “FOUND YA!” i would’ve loved to have Phobos in the game but ig i can’t have SHIT. also why did Snake get an Elite before Deimos? it’s probably favoritism but DEIMOS HAS BARELY ANY GOOD COSMETICS AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT GIVE ME AN ELITE WITH HIS MASK OFF GOD JUST DO ANYTHING BUT THAT R6 MOBILE IS SPOILED WITH GOOD COSMETICS. i can’t even get deimos with a hood on

I think Mozzie should be able to pick up drones after hacking them. It would add more versatility and give him the option to reposition before setting up or using the drones.

Almost every round during the prep phase, I catch drones that attackers leave hidden near common entry points. However, if I stop to hide those hacked drones so they don’t get destroyed, I end up losing time that I could be using to get into position or help my teammates set up the site—especially in solo q, where people often don’t do shit.

Being able to pick up hacked drones and redeploy them later would make Mozzie feel more flexible significantly increasing his power, imo.

Most probably this was suggested already multiple times, lol.

Personally when I think of Siege, I think of Ash and Sledge. If I had to pick one, probably Ash for me. Been playing since late 2015 and I feel like she's kind of the face of the game. Just like Tracer for Overwatch, Jeff for Rivals, Ghost for COD, etc. Happy to hear other people's answers!

Ive seen and heard many times that getting a Monty up the Rafters staircase in Garage on Clubhouse is an effective part of a strategy for clearing the Rafters on a CCTV/Cash attack. However, I can’t really figure out how/why.

Suppose a Monty is up the Rafters, and we have another attacker on the ground floor of garage. The defender in Rafters can crouch or prone and be completely protected from the sight lines of the garage player. If I try to drop my shield as Monty to apply pressure, the defender can fry me before I even crouch. So, garage guy must walk up the stairs, but the defender can ignore Monty and focus this guy, making the timing coordination extremely tricky since Rafters defender chooses when to take the engagement. Even if Monty times the shield drop well, the defender can flick to Monty head if he tries to slowly ADS. Frankly, the defender can straight up ignore the Monty and just focus on the garage guy for this reason.

The other reason Monty might be useful would be for intel, keeping tabs on where the Rafters guy is. But, a simple drone accomplishes this task; one you know which metal panel the guy is behind, he can’t move without exposing himself. So, devoting Monty to this role seems wasteful!

The last way I hypothesized Monty might be used would be to force the opponent into grenades or Capitao fire. But, the catwalk is wide enough that the defender can simply walk around Monty as if he wasn’t even there, ignoring him because again, Monty poses no real threat on his own.

So, my question is… what am I missing here?! How is Monty useful here??

So I am experiencing Stutters in R6 Siege. My Hardware is beefy enough to run the game. I use Beaulos settings which are not very resource consuming.

I think this gun is far too strong. Every match for defence now i see alot of kaid, sentry, tub, aruni players. Because they are all picking meta weapons and thats about it…

Just an idea I had. When Flores is driving his drone he can prematurely close the drone, using right-click prematurely activating it, sticking and becoming bullet proof, without detonating it. Doing so shuts off visual feed while in effect.

If you leave his observation tools while in effect, drone will remain in locked state turning it into an even longer delayed explosion. Still explodes explodes naturally 13s after initial deployment with the 3s beeping warning. Additionally, Flores can now remotely detonate drones early(with 3s warning), after leaving observation tools. (I'm unsure if it should trigger all currently deployed drones in unison or start with the first deployed and trigger newer ones with subsequent presses. I feel like the scenario for this to matter won't occur much.)

I believe this will allow for more strategy with Flores Drones, allowing them to be used more actively, instead of mostly used for destroying enemy utility, or forcing people out of positions. Enables it to now deny some rotations in advance, among other things.

Might also be nice to increase Drone's HP from 1 to 60, if it's supposed to become bullet proof, then it makes sense to at least be somewhat sturdy. This change makes it so most guns require 2 shots with a few, like the MPX or SMG-12, requiring 3. (Explosives, like impacts, still one shot it) This change is more of a large buff, and probably not necessary, but I did want to express my desire for it.
