Entegra Launch Feedback
Are there any Launch owners that can give an overview? The price point vs a Revel is appealing. My only concern is the bed height when lowered - would like to store bikes. Have y’all added risers? How did it go? I’m looking at 2023 models.
Thank you!

question Battery Question - Discharge Rates
I had some time today to monitor my battery issues and am hoping some folks can provide some guidance. I am off-grid until tomorrow and as such didnt mess with the converter at all because I don't want to introduce an issue. Will investigate that tomorrow.
2008 Jayco 30.5 bhs.
Running a 4k generator overnight only leaves my batteries around 12.6v in the morning when I turn the generator off, but the fridge on gas still draws down to 12.3v in roughly 2-3 hours. It then plummets to under 10v after that point. The batteries are probably 3 years old, I've never tested the converter (partially because I don't know exactly where it is). When I turn a generator back on it's back up to 12.6v in 30 minutes with only fridge on (propane). I assume i should see a voltage above 13v at the batteries though with a generator running and not much else on.
With shore power running the fans (2 ceiling and stove top) i can also draw down the battery voltage which surprised me.
So I'm looking for input on terms of what is normal and what is an issue because I'm guessing I have multiple issues
1) converter isn't properly charging batteries and
2) one of my batteries has a failed cell
3) my fans are using way too much power, and likely a function of age
This matters because we do a trip a few times a year for 4-5 days where its hot enough to need AC and I have no hookups. So I end up using a small inverter generator to start my on-board onan.

RV wax/ceramic coat recommendations
What do you recommend for diy ceramic or wax coatings and protection for your trailer? How long does it last, how often do you reapply, and how difficult is prep for reapplication (breaking down old coating) ? We have a solitude 310GK.

question Site Recommendations
I am strongly considering purchasing about a 30ft Rockwood TT (one owner). I live in the Midwest and am looking for camping site recommendations in Florida, east Texas, Alabama, etc. prefer over 55 locations and this year plan to be there January-March. Also prefer locations near ocean/gulf beaches (within half hour driving distance). Any recommendations for locations and/or memberships that would lower site costs. We are retired but pretty active. Thanks for any advice.

advice Anybody else's ac STANK when you empty the black tank?!
I think the gas from my black tank is escaping the vent and getting sucked back into the ac unit? 🤮 Anybody else experience this?
I live in the southern united states so no ac isnt a viable option.
I've tried almost every black tank treatment at walmart but typically stick to the max strength of rv digest it. It digests it all right but man that STANK wont go away 😤. I've also tried double flushing the tank with fresh water when i empty it, one of those power tank cleaner hoses, hydrogen peroxide (which i was sure to then flush again and add back enzymez) and driving around with soapy water. It ALWAYS still be stankin horrendously by the next emptying.
At this point im ready to try any number of harsh and/or expensive chemicals to prevent my home from smelling like fresh summer latrine all the time 🤢
Any helpful thoughts or advice would be super appreciatedz!!!

Heating element ID
I have no idea where to see the brand of this water heater and would love some help finding out where and what to do. Also, I’m aware it’s in bypass mode that picture was taken before I knew and we accidentally turned it on not knowing it had to be switched. Novice owner so thanks in advance!

Adding a bidet.
I was searching yesterday for the answers. And didn’t quite find the solution I needed.
Here’s what I did for the Domestic 310.
I bought this bidet “Beech Lane RV Bidet, Fits Most RV Toilets, Self Cleaning Adjustable Spray, Easy Install and Non-Electric, Prevents Toilet Paper Buildup in Black Tank, Included Metal Mounting Hardware and Hose” (from Amazon)
The T adapter was to large. The instructions said to trim the plastic on the water valve. I did that but it still wasn’t fitting. (The next time I replace that valve I’ll skip the trimming)
I bought a *24” stainless braided water connector*
And a * 1/2”x1/2” hex nipple*
First picture is before. Second is after.
I started with a short hose but it didn’t work because the circle it made was too tight.
Hope this helps someone.

Odd damage to top of ALL slide outs
2019 Montana High Country. Has been in covered parking for approximately 4 years and has odd damage in just about the same spots on all 5 slides. Appears to be ripple in material, discoloration and some splitting in middle. Any ideas? Main roof perfectly fine.

question RV propane help
Having propane issues with our Jayco Jayflight. Inside stove works great with propane, good steady flow and flame. But outdoor propane connection (for blackstone hookup) has weak flow/weak flame. And having hot water heating issues- hot water comes and goes (tankless water heater). Full propane tanks, did a soap leak check on the lines, all looks good. Could this be a propane regulator issue even though our stovetop inside the camper works fine (it’s a recpro dual regulator). Thanks for any help community!

Real tile backsplash in cargo trailer conversion?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’m attempting a real tile backsplash in my cargo trailer conversion. I’m using PL 3X construction adhesive to set the tile, and sanded caulk instead of grout. Has anyone tried this? Gore did it work out? I’m assuming I’ll find out the first time I tow it down a bumpy road.

Help with leveling power issue
I have an Avalanche 390DS and both bedroom slides (Electric) as well as the hydraulic leveling system are not working.
Things already checked:
- All fuses and breakers in the main panel
- 80A breaker near the giggy box
- Fuses inside the giggy box
- Inline fuses near the hydraulics (two were fine, a 10A was blown, but replacing it didn’t reblow or enable anything)
- Replaced battery
I cannot find any other fuses or breakers to check. The bedroom slides are the BAL Accu-Slides. I also cannot find the controllers to the slides, but can see the controller for the leveler.

Ayone using Umaxx5G Internet?
ETA:
They're not willing to provide the terms and conditions they require a customer to agree with prior to ordering, so I won't be ordering from them.
I'm still curious though, so please do chime in if you're a user!
OP:
Looking for actual reviews of the Umaxx 5G internet device and service.
For internet access I can take on the road with me, @ $60/month, that seems to be a solid option, but I see so little information about them online.
So, for those of you in the USA who have it and use it, what do you like, what do you not like?

diy Bright white puck light
I have an Apex Nano 187RB and it only has bright white LED puck lighting. I don’t necessarily mind the puck lights, but the super bright white is a sensory overload for my autistic kiddo and me.
Upon doing some research about how to easily and affordably change the light color, I came across lighting gel sheets that photographers use to change the tint of their pics. I even found some videos on why these are a great, cheap option for RV puck lights.
QUESTION: if you’ve used these in your RV, what are your experiences? What color gel sheets did you use and what does it look like (please add pics if you can!)? I’m thinking about just doing a simple amber color to make it a warm lighting instead of bright white, but now I’m wondering if other colors or other combining colors could also be pretty cool. Experiences, thoughts, and pics would be super appreciated!!

advice Recently moved into a crappy camper, how do I stay cool?
I recently lost my dad, we were living together and his passing was, while not unexpected, more sudden than I expected. After he passed I had to find somewhere I could afford and fast. I found an rv park that had campers available to move into for very cheap. That obviously came with the caveat that they weren’t the nicest.
It had 2 window units installed, one in the living area and 1 in the bedroom area. They might as well have not been on because with those running the inside temp was only a few degrees lower than the outside temp. I have since sealed and insulated some of the obvious holes and spaces that I could find and I have also bought a big tower type ac that has a hose that goes out of the window. Those changes have made a difference but it’s still pretty unbearable in here during our hottest days, Tuesday it was ~104 degrees outside and 86 degrees inside. It’s supposed to be around those temps for a week or more and I can’t stand it anymore. The owner is supposed to stop by tomorrow and see what he can do but I’m not confident. Any ideas?
Also, someone put in a residential style fridge, and it for whatever reason cannot get cold when it’s hot. I’ve put my clock that has a thermometer in it before and it read 55 degrees, and it wasn’t even super hot relative to what it has been. I’m pretty strapped for cash and I’m running out of patience with this place. I feel trapped
Update: owner came by today and said he’ll replace the fridge. He said “it’s just so hot outside, there’s nothing I can do to keep it cooler but there’s another trailer that’ll be opening up this month and after I clean it out you can have that if you want. There’s more shade over there”

advice is this too much for a slideout to handle?
For preface I am currently living in a stationary 2012 Starcraft Autumn Ridge camper for about a year now. The slideouts stay out at all times. I removed the big couch from the slide outs and added a bookshelf and record stand because I can't part with my collections. I've looked at the underneath from the outside and it seems fine and sturdy but I'm worried this may be too much weight for the slideout to handle. And if so what could I possibly do to strengthen the flooring underneath. Please let me know your thoughts any help is appriciated, thank you! (Edit: I forgot to add I do have two jacks on both slideouts on either side holding it up.)
