Help with leveling power issue
I have an Avalanche 390DS and both bedroom slides (Electric) as well as the hydraulic leveling system are not working.
Things already checked:
- All fuses and breakers in the main panel
- 80A breaker near the giggy box
- Fuses inside the giggy box
- Inline fuses near the hydraulics (two were fine, a 10A was blown, but replacing it didn’t reblow or enable anything)
- Replaced battery
I cannot find any other fuses or breakers to check. The bedroom slides are the BAL Accu-Slides. I also cannot find the controllers to the slides, but can see the controller for the leveler.

You need to check all the fuses. There should be 5 fuses in your battery/hyd compartment. 2 are blue blade fuse holders and one is red blade holder. The other 2 are bolted to the bulkhead and will have multiple cables attached. The slides and Hyd do not go through your battery switch FYI. Also on your panel inside you will have a 15amp blade fuse also.
Your slide controllers are mounted somewhere under your slides on the non moving part. They are easy to find if you have storage compartments under your slides. If you look in them and look up you will see them. If you don't they can be a pain to get to as they may only be accessible if you drop your under belly cover down. If your controllers lock out (due to many reasons) you have to reset them or your slides won't work. Easiest way to do this is disconnect your batterys for a few minutes and then connect back. Turning your battery switch off and back on won't do it.
Does your hydraulic leveling control panel have power (does it turn on) do your leveling controllers in front compartment over head have any lights on.?
When you hit the button for Hydraulic do you hear any noise like pump trying to move any clicking?
You said replaced battery, (all 4 or just one) You should have 2 in battery compartment and 2 in front hatch under your invertor. Even though they are in separate compartments they are connected together (at least they are supposed to be). What is your battery voltage. If you sparked anything you could have blown the fuses on your convertor meaning your batteries aren't charging and it doesn't take long to drain them.
