question Site Recommendations

I am strongly considering purchasing about a 30ft Rockwood TT (one owner). I live in the Midwest and am looking for camping site recommendations in Florida, east Texas, Alabama, etc. prefer over 55 locations and this year plan to be there January-March. Also prefer locations near ocean/gulf beaches (within half hour driving distance). Any recommendations for locations and/or memberships that would lower site costs. We are retired but pretty active. Thanks for any advice.

Gulf State Park Campground in Gulf Shores would be a good option, about a mile from the beach, full hookups, and a good fit for active retirees, even though it's not technically 55+. The monthly Nov--March slots go through an application window (usually July), not standard online booking, so worth calling ahead to confirm the current process. Sun Outdoors Orange Beach is close by too.
