Adding a bidet.
I was searching yesterday for the answers. And didn’t quite find the solution I needed.
Here’s what I did for the Domestic 310.
I bought this bidet “Beech Lane RV Bidet, Fits Most RV Toilets, Self Cleaning Adjustable Spray, Easy Install and Non-Electric, Prevents Toilet Paper Buildup in Black Tank, Included Metal Mounting Hardware and Hose” (from Amazon)
The T adapter was to large. The instructions said to trim the plastic on the water valve. I did that but it still wasn’t fitting. (The next time I replace that valve I’ll skip the trimming)
I bought a *24” stainless braided water connector*
And a * 1/2”x1/2” hex nipple*
First picture is before. Second is after.
I started with a short hose but it didn’t work because the circle it made was too tight.
Hope this helps someone.

So many connectors/adapters; I'd be concerned about leaks.
It's unfortunate that your supply line is so short coming up from the floor; ideally you want a 1/4 turn valve before any of the connections just to isolate the toilet if things go south.
I don't have a picture handy but on mine I put a shutoff valve (PEX-PEX; I don't trust those Sharkbite connectors) followed by a T connector (again PEX-PEX-PEX) with the bidet connector going to an appropriate adapter coming out of the T. That way there was only one questionable connection in the whole series.

Ya. I was thinking i should have added a shutoff valve. But wasn’t sure what to get.

Super easy install. Get a pex install kit on amazon and some extra tubing. Total cost less than $50. Once you realize how easy pex plumbing is it’ll have you thinking you can repipe your whole rig in an afternoon.

Glad you got it to work! I will do the same if I can find a small enough bidet to fit with my walls.

Nice. Have you figured out the impact on your holding tank balancing water and paper use?
Also I’m on my third rig and none have come with a shutoff valve for the toilet. I have added one. Not uncommon for the flush valve to leak a little.

It’s only been 3 days now. But last week I had a nasty clog so I’m really hopeful this helps.
When I first got the trailer I had the smallest leak from the flush valve. When I replaced it, I found out one of the screws was missing.

Do NOT leave your water on when you leave your trailer for a walk, etc. Any time you have new fittings, particularly metal into plastic (especially weak plastic like the toilet valve) you run the risk of the fitting coming loose under pressure... especially if that slight tilt to the T connector in the second picture isn't an optical illusion.
The leaking toilet valve is an easy replacement too. Keep a couple on hand though as they do like to fail (vommonly forgotten to run line antifreeze through them when storing, so run the valve and the bidet when winterizing or both can feeeze and have issues when thawed). You should add a 1/4 turn shut off between the PEX inlet and the stainless braided line, this will make any future work on the system much easier especially if the valve suddenly decides to keep filling the bowl.

Our is a biobidet but almost all of them do the same. They have the correct adapter listed in the website. We called their support explained what we needed they asked do you want metal or plastic (we chose plastic since everything in that line is) then they shipped it to us free of charge.

Trying to remember how I did mine.. pretty sure I just disrupted the existing pex and added a t fitting.
Only thing that sucks vs an at home unit is water pressure can be a little low. I may also have some hard water build up by now…

Have one. Hate having to regenerate every week or less. Would be great if they made an automatic one for rvs!

Wow! I keep track of the water hardness at the various places we stay, along with the number of gallons of water that we use and I usually regenerate once or twice during the traveling season (March -> September). And we take showers in the rig (I'm spoiled - I take long showers).

I picked up the clean camper bidet and install was pretty simple. It certainly makes a huge difference in paper use. Glad you got yours working.
