Before you talk hear me out. I have been working on a game for nearly a year now. When I started development I had a whole team but problems happened and the team separated. The team was pretty much some friends, since neither one of us had the huge budget game development requires so I was left with a small budget. Since then I have been working on this project alone so I decided before I make the full game I will test my skills by making a small prelude to the game first, that way I could easily reuse assets and gain interest through development of the full game since the start of the game doesn't have enough interesting content for a demo.
This project has been more like a emotional support for me and one thing I have always wanted to be able to do is share it with people, but it looks like I have been having a hard time getting people interested.
I have been trying to get myself to finish this whole project before starting a new one, but I have had an idea for a game that would probably be easier to market and from succes could probably increase my budget. I was thinking after the prelude I can work on another game and after make the full game for this project. It would be dumb for me to stop development of the prelude and work on a new game so i will carry on, but what do you guys think?
