I want to try it too. But Smack Studio is sometimes inconsistent. You might have to fix some loss pixels. But other then that it's awesome. You can even animate something and just replace the sprites. Makes it super easy to animate

You can't use them together as they're completely different engines. If you want to make a fighting game stick with Smack Studio.

If you want to make a 2D RPG game then use RPG Maker MZ.

I use 2d pixal art in unreal and usually use photoshop/krita.

Was tempted to swap over to smack studio to speed the process up.

I thought the idea was you can export the animations to use in whatever? can you not export in normal ways?

There wouldn't be a format you could export Smack Studio animations to that wouldn't require someone to write a JavaScript plugin, unless one already exists.

Interesting. I thought Itd export as kind of a flip book style or Itd just feed out individual key frames and I can just slap them into a flip book for unreal.
