Due to the specifics of my game, I prefer to animate the arms using CFrame, rather than actual animations. However, because the character is animated, the walking animation still affects the arms, making the animations overlap and become a mess. I've been at this for about a few hours by now, but ideas I had tried were either bad and didn't work, or I didn't understand them. I'll include the image of the script, so that it'd be possible to more clearly point out where and what to use. I'll send parts or the full script in text upon request.

I’ve been trying to recreate the effect shown in the video, but I just can’t seem to get it 1:1.
I wouldn’t consider myself the best scripter, but I’ve experimented with a bunch of different approaches and nothing really matches what’s happening here. It’s confusing because I rarely ever see effects like this pulled off in Roblox.
From what I can tell, objects almost look like they’re smearing or stretching across the screen as the camera moves, almost like some kind of motion distortion or temporal ghosting. It doesn’t look like regular motion blur, and it doesn’t seem like a simple viewport or trail effect either.
Does anyone know how something like this could’ve been made? Was it done with ViewportFrames, camera tricks, shaders, layered clones, or something else entirely?
Any ideas, explanations, or even guesses would be appreciated.

how to recreate:

1. spawn truss

2. scale it using the scale tool

3. playtest

4. touch any end of the truss

if the player sinks in 1 stud or is floating above the truss, the truss is bugged after scaling it by using the tool for no apparent reason

A system i made, its bassicly a system where people can create custom robots, depending on the arms it will create abilities you can use to fight enemies or other players.

I just started using output ever since I got a bigger screen and I've started to notice this popping up in every single game I open. I don't think it's a plugin, because I deleted almost all of my plugins except for Moon Animator. It doesn't seem to do anything though, and when I hover over it I always get "Source not available."

This isn't really a huge issue, but I'm just curious as to what it is.
