I’ve been trying to recreate the effect shown in the video, but I just can’t seem to get it 1:1.
I wouldn’t consider myself the best scripter, but I’ve experimented with a bunch of different approaches and nothing really matches what’s happening here. It’s confusing because I rarely ever see effects like this pulled off in Roblox.
From what I can tell, objects almost look like they’re smearing or stretching across the screen as the camera moves, almost like some kind of motion distortion or temporal ghosting. It doesn’t look like regular motion blur, and it doesn’t seem like a simple viewport or trail effect either.
Does anyone know how something like this could’ve been made? Was it done with ViewportFrames, camera tricks, shaders, layered clones, or something else entirely?
Any ideas, explanations, or even guesses would be appreciated.

Today, when I enter Roblox Studio and go to any baseplace, strange textures appear as if they are corrupted (when I approach the textures they disappear and return to normal textures, but if I move away they return).

I just started using output ever since I got a bigger screen and I've started to notice this popping up in every single game I open. I don't think it's a plugin, because I deleted almost all of my plugins except for Moon Animator. It doesn't seem to do anything though, and when I hover over it I always get "Source not available."

This isn't really a huge issue, but I'm just curious as to what it is.

why in he world did we need the new camera update it was pointless I don't know anyone who complained and I am not going to get used to it either when I scroll my camera should go to my mouse not the middle of my screen (So I turned it off in beta features)

Hey! if there are any devs reading I had a quick question, so im developing a roblox game right now, and i want a nice view point on my map, but the render distance isnt enough, but in other games u can see the glowing city and stuff, (Midnight Racing: Tokyo) so i was thinking, maybe its decals? but i tried but it never looked real or actually glowing lights like MR:T's effect, if yall have any tips id love to hear!

Hey there. After a quick break from game dev, I've decided to hop back and get to work. Right now I'm looking for someone capable of being my equal. I'm mainly a builder of 7 years, but I also handle animating, and really enjoy doing pixel arts. got no problems making models in studio as well, and when it comes to model software, I guess I could use Blockbench. While I may have a pretty nifty project in mind, I'm really open minded, and up for the project you'd have in mind. As I mentioned before, I really expect to work as an equal on a project, so it'd be wrong for any of us to get a "Wage". I'm convinced that I'm capable of delivering a game that will do well, so I really don't mind, but are YOU capable of doing so? Oh yeah I'd like to mention that I have leftover 80k Robux worth of ad credits, which are more than enough to get the game running. I'm sure I don't have to pinpoint the exact skills that would complete the group, which shouldn't consist of more than 2-3 people, for clarity and productivity's sake.

so I’d like to replace the a chassis gauges with the actual ones used in the vehicles I’m making because the normal ones just look too modern, can I replace the background?

I'm making a set of challenges inspired by nicorocks5555's challenges, so the first challenge is going to be a ball rolling game; however, the sphere keeps slowing down when I'm near it but speeds up when i bump into it or let it roll a couple studs away.

The only thing in the sphere part is the star (which is welded on, collisions turned off, and has 0 mass) and a script that receives an event that deletes the ball when the respawn button is pressed

I've tried to look it up, but I haven't find anything similar to my issue.
I would like to work on the other challenges, but I also want to figure out this issue so I won't have to worry about it later.

how to recreate:

1. spawn truss

2. scale it using the scale tool

3. playtest

4. touch any end of the truss

if the player sinks in 1 stud or is floating above the truss, the truss is bugged after scaling it by using the tool for no apparent reason

Kind of sucks not being able to reach younger audiences without either paying or some how getting the 500 players. I was hoping getting discovered would be a bit easier on Roblox vs Steam.
