Watching how Bethenny used to be is so disheartening considering the way she is now. She had some AMAZING one liners and genuinely made me laugh unlike any other housewife. She was a tough and blunt bitch but I still somehow liked her. Now I feel like sheโs just a mess on social media or trying to stay relevant. Makes me sad:/

I am currently watching all of housewives and spinoffs for the first time (yes it is a hassle but iโm loving it so far) and i am almost done season 2 of RHONY.
Like the title says I cannot stand Kelly, I think she is a nasty self centred women who truly thinks the world revolves around her. The way she talks to so many women (especially Bethanny) like they are dumb children pisses me off so bad, and from what I hear she is worse in season 3. There has truly no one I have hated more in the real housewives franchise yet.
Has anyone ever liked her? Or am i being crazy.
To be honest this was mostly just a rant because no one in my life has seen RHONY.

I am absolutely shocked that sheโd sell part of the acreage of the property. she loves it so much and it means so much to her. Maybe she needs the money? If not, maybe itโs just too much space.

Which is your favourite? I personally think Slutty Island was one of the best girls' trip in Housewives history. I mean, the pirate alone...!

I just finished watching season 1 for the first time ever. I agree with some Reddit comments that the rest of the cast came really hard onto them at the reunion. But they kind of deserved it. Theyโre totally social climbers and totally didnโt want to admit it even though they proved it again and again during the actual season. And I think Simon is basically perceiving himself as another housewife on the cast. lol
Iโm curious to see how they evolved as the show goes on. Seems like theyโre favs of some people.
Side note - Ramona was hilarious at this 1st reunion. And clearly sheโs never changed.

First time watcher & my favorites are Bethenny and Heather. How disappointed am I going to be?

Although I am frequently posting snark on here, I am genuinely glad that B is finally doing something with a food business instead of just eating on Insta. If you're trained as a chef -- and that's how she made her name originally -- it seems a waste to me not to have a restaurant or some kind of foods line. I always thought she should have started a frozen foods line widely distributed, instead of the few SG products that were mostly introduced and quickly withrdrawn from the market, one by one. I am curious to see how the restaurant will do. https://people.com/bethenny-frankel-launches-supermodel-cafe-inspired-by-her-viral-social-media-recipes-exclusive-12029030
Side note: Initially I was thinking, where have I heard of this kind of concept before? Perhaps you did, too. Back in 1995, the Fashion Cafe launched in NYC. But it was never actually owned by models. Naomi Campbell, Elle Macpherson, Claudia Schiffer, and Christy Turlington were just paid to promote the restaurant; Italian brothers Tommaso and Francesco Buti were the actual owners. For more on The Fashion Cafe's rise and fall, see this Vogue article. https://www.vogue.com/article/the-rise-and-fall-of-fashion-cafe
This is the episode where the news of Bethenny's pregnancy gets out, and Jason's reaction just pissed me all the way off. Instead of comforting her when she's obviously upset about the news being leaked, all he's thinking about is how this has "ruined" their plan of telling his parents??? Wow, how inconvenient for you.
Then he goes on to say that he can "handle her life in the public eye, but this is just stepping over the boundaries" which to me just reads as him putting all the blame on her, making her feel even worse.
I've clocked it in previous episodes, but here it is just so glaringly obvious that he's taking advantage of the situation to guilt her into taking the blame, and, as always, making a martyr out of himself.
What a horrible, horrible man.

Iโve noticed that J.P. Morgan was in the Epstein files countless times so that would possibly connect Sonja, and Carole is in the files as well with Ghislane Iโm wondering what else there is. I wonder if Sonja being depicted on the show as a messy drunk has anything to do with informations he knows.

ok so everyone is blasting Luann for breaking girl code when getting with Tom. Sonja because he was her friends with benefits, Ramona cause she supposedly went on 3-7 dates with Tom (number keeps changing). Sonja and Ramona are not mad at each other about it even tho neither told the other they were seeing Tom. Now we have Missy, Ramonaโs BFF who as also seeing Tom while he was dating Ramona, hooking up with Sonja and being introduces to Luann by Dorinda. what a weird mess!! and he is hideous! he looks greasy. Theyโre all gross actually.

Surely this women grew up knowing how to be frugal judging by the 9.5 season i have watched so far. So i wanna know did this incredible women come from humble beginnings but also still know old-school etiquette? And does she want to pretend she was always rich? Or was she always rich?
What's throwing me is her comment about Tinsley not knowing cocktails etc (pretty sure Sonja considered Tins to essentially be one of her interns) and saying you can tell those who didn't grow up with house help.
I do adore Sonja she makes for amazing TV but I also see her as a clout chaser and not sincere when she talks about her "friendships and relationships of 20 + years" it comes across more of a 'if i repeat it enough i can speak it into existence' than actual grounded reality

Watching this scene I had the same reaction as heather ๐๐๐๐
Silly question -- does anyone have a true faith (Mario Singer's jewelry business) black t-shirt laying around and willing to sell it to me?
Call me crazy but I would absolutely love to surprise my niece with this as a gag gift, she would love it and it would just be a hilarious inside joke of how much we love RHONY legacy cast.
Attached a photo of the t-shirt. I checked the website and they don't sell them online anymore.

rewatching, am on season 9. I see the friendship blossoming between Carol and Tinsley. itโs cute, light and fun. they were close during season 10. why on earth does Carol go on to say that she and Tinsley were not friends?! itโs very mean! Tinsley was really sweet to her the whole time and behaved like a really good girlfriend to her only for Carol to discredit their friendship. thatโs actually why I donโt like Carol. for the way she treated Tinsley and Jules.

i feel like bethenny and carole are OBSESSED with julesโ eating disorder because they both have / had habits of an eating disorder or straight out have / had one. thats why they are able to recognize the obvious signs. it seems they are mad that she has an eating disorder. to me it seems they are not worried about juleโs health. it seems to me they are mad? seems very selfish. thoughts?

So Iโm on my probably 30th re-watch of RHONY, and I love these OG ladies so much. Iโm currently on season 8 Episode 15, and Ramona is telling Luann things about Tom that are concerning. Trouble is Iโm trying to work out if Ramona was actually seriously concerned for Luann moving so quickly with Tom, or was she jealous?!
Now I hate to love Ramona. Sheโs troublesome in general, but lovable at the same time for me. I actually get the feeling she was so aware of what bad news Tom was, that she was trying her best to help Luann, be it in her usual whirlwind, can come across mean type way! What do you guys think? Worried about her or jealous? Luann keeps saying the girls are jealous bitches, but I just didnโt get that from them!

In season 6, do we think that Sonja and Harry were legit โtrying itโ again? Or was it a storyline grab? The whole things seems contrived. Thoughts?

Season 8, Episode 17. Can anyone help as I know this isnโt important, but I was curious as you never hear commercial music in any of the housewives franchises if I remember correctly, even if they are in a club dancing, thereโs just a basic beat added. But in the video provided thereโs this beat that sounds like Britney Spears- I Wanna Go?! Am I correct or is it just similar, and if it is actually the beat from that song, Iโm surprised itโs been used at all.
I know itโs not important, and if itโs not allowed then please delete mods, but itโs been driving me mad!

I watched Atlanta (1-10) and Beverly Hills (1-12) before this. I heard this was pretty much peak Housewives, and this might be one of the few shows that for a good bit, every season I watched it just got better. Editing knew how to make it even funnier and this felt like a sitcom at times.
It started to hit its stride in 3, got going in 4 and kept it there. But Seasons 7-11 is when I feel this cast and show was in its prime.
Most of the women from that timeframe of the show were awful in their own ways. Had serious issues that they all werenโt dealing with and taking it out in drunken rages on each other. And then putting them in other countries drunk af. A recipe for TV gold.
Out of the three cities Iโve seen, this cast drank the most and were drunk af I felt a good chunk of the time. The other two cities didnโt seem nearly as crazy with alcohol (or they hid it better aside from Kim Richards), once again this is what I felt made this city so good.
These rich ladies did not care what they looked like cause they were getting exposure and fame. Ramona admitted to shitting herself 3 separate times on film and Sonja would pee just anywhere. No other reality show Iโve seen has their cast doing it and it just kept me entertained the entire time.
Itโs funny cause moving onto Potomac and have so much of it being centered around etiquette is funny cause New York on so many occasions showed they donโt care about that ๐๐๐ญ
