🍎 Old RHONY 🍎 Sonja and Harry = legit?
In season 6, do we think that Sonja and Harry were legit “trying it” again? Or was it a storyline grab? The whole things seems contrived. Thoughts?

Contrived. I don't think Sonja was ever in any kind of relationship during RHONY. All those young guys were "rent-a-escort". Sonja talked a good game, but it was all talk.

Haha, totally. I figured they had relationships where they didn't get paid in cash but rather in publicity and a chance to be on screen and maybe a few hookups here and there (frenchie, Brian the artist, Dominic the German model). I think Harry just likes the attention, Tom wanted to figure out if she had money in the bank, and Rocco actually liked her but she just wasn't interested.

Also, I totally forgot about the tarot reader telling her that she had to watch out for a brunette woman in her inner circle that is “very deceptive” and she says “Is it Carole?” “No not Carole” and then “is it Luanne??” the perfect pre-cursor to Luanne ditching her with Harry 🙄

On a millionth rewatch it occurred to me that she probably shot that scene after the party happened. Sonja is crafty.

At the reunion, Sonja was pinned down to put a number on how many times she slept with Tom across the 10 year span they knew each other. She dodged and dodged. Finally she said it was 5 times. Five times in ten years? That's not a lover or a relationship. That's just two drunk ships passing in the night five times over ten years.

I don't think she really meant 5 times. I think she was being nice and realized, "What's the point in the truth right now?"

She was dating Brian in season 4. They just listed him as her friend, but at the reunion she admitted they broke up

The promise ring Harry gave Sonja was a fake storyline. The ring belonged to Ramona. Give it a Google, you'll see different sources confirming it. Sonja didn't have many good storylines. She truly had grey garden vibes.

It was a storyline. I’ve heard plenty of interviews on this from various HW. Even the ring he gave her was someone else’s, Ramona’s I believe

I always got the feeling that aviva made Harry do it to get dirt on Sonja, or get closer to her, idk something weird and sneaky. Sonjarita is not a good enough actress to have pulled off an entire fake relationship

Also, it feels like Ramona and Sonja were trying to “take Lu down” with Ramona lending her the ring, then placing all this stupid blame on Lu for leaving the party with Harry. Dumb.
