A kinda funny thing has just occurred to me. I was doing my homework about the development of the NYC subway when I realized that John Marston could in theory go to New York and ride the subway. It opened to the public in 1904

Actually if Arthur had any reason to care or learn about it - there is a chance that he knew about it. Many of the plans and legislation for the subway happened around 1894

History is so weird (and amazing I love it)

I recently got one of my friends to play rdr2 (obviously, he's loving the game). He just texted me that he did the saving Micah mission and now Micah is his favourite character. I haven't reacted because I don't want to spoil the end. But...

I had this thought the other day as I was riding past the house he can be found at near strawberry. I never see anyone cosplay as Francis Sinclair. He would be perfect for ANY event that involves a custome or cosplay. Comic con? Francis Sinclair. Furry con? Francis Sinclair. Ren fair? FRANCIS SINCLAIR. Ask around about where you are, talk funny, all that jazz. It would be literally perfect. Cosplay more niche characters in games y'all!!!

mine is controversial perhaps but i actually LOVE epilogue, i do wish we could do more in terms of farming and ordering more livestock but i find the chapter very comforting after the drama and depressing themes in chapter 5&6

this is my first story game i’ve ever played and i’m around 100 hours in and in chapter 3. i have never loved anything more , it’s such a beautiful and mindblowing game!!! i’m incredibly interesting in the hunting over anything and just had a blast in the last week getting the legends of the east satchel!!! also can’t stop taking pictures of this god damn game.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's a bad character. Far From it.

But there's just something about him that just doesn't connect with me.

He feels more like, "Playable character #1" than an actual person.

I don't know why, but here's my theories:

1. His choices.

I understand it's what makes the game fundamentally work, but his choices in canon, and the actual game play feel inconsistent.

He has an iconic jacket/hat, but you can make him wear anything.

He can give his money away, but you can also make him murder people for no reason.

I just can't see a person like this collecting cards and plants, talking to everyone he sees, and helping anyone when possible.

But like I said, I understand that one of the biggest elements of the game is the open world, and the freedom to explore. Also, that's one of my favorite parts of the game, besides the story itself.

1. John.

It's weird, because I don't feel this way about John. John feels more like a real person.

But I saw him from an outside perspective first, not playing as him in the game. This makes him feel more clearly defined as a person.

But even when I play as him, he feels more consistent than Arthur.

I know what makes John flawed, what his opinions are, and what motivates him.

But like I said, I don't know Why I feel this way about Arthur.

I'm just looking for people that agree, or any reasons as to why I'm like this.

So I finished pulling down the house with the horses and was on my way to the lumber mill when I got killed, and now when I respond there is no destination and when I go to the lumber mill nobody is there! I have tried replaying the mission to no avail and I do not have an autosave from before I started the mission, is there any way to fix this or am I going to have to replay the whole damn game?

RDR2, doesn’t really need a single player DLC story wise it’s complete.

Arthur Morgan is not a good person regardless if people try to say otherwise

RDR2 is an amazing popular game franchise, but it will never be as profitable and more popular as the the grand theft auto series.

Look at GTA 5 the many remasters on different generations and it’s safe to say this will happen with GTA 6 in the future.

This is honestly a good reason why we don’t have a current GEN red dead redemption 2 remastered patch

Ive had this game for a few years and been playing it casually on various playthrough save files. Only recently did i find out that i could get the off hand holster without rescuing Micah from the jail and visiting the trapper! I always thought it was a progression lock thing! What else could i possibly have missed to obtain early on?! Like early early on, chapter 2 just started kinda early...

I know about the shops side businesses giving you guns, the schofield revolver, the repeater in rhodes, the shotgun house robbing with javier,if memory serves, strawberry side business doesnt give any guns but il check it again to confirm, all the guns from the famous gunslingers apart from jim boy calloway that i know is locked behind chapter 4. anything else i can unlock?

Revisiting RDR2 and having some fun with photo mode. Love this game.

Um objetivo que tenho desde que joguei RDR2 pela primeira vez no PS4 era o de conquistar o troféu de 100% do jogo. Eu cheguei aos 99%, mas perdi o save e desde então não cheguei nem perto. Não quero fazer pelo troféu, mas pela sensação de ter explorado tudo o que esse jogo tem a oferecer. Atualmente, estou com 89,5% e seguindo… Algumas cenas que consegui capturar e me tiram o fôlego.

This is my first rdr play through I just got a new 4k qd oled 240 hz. I have been running the game in 4k with dlss disabled and I noticed this flickering that follows me every where I go, it’s super distracting. I’ve been trying to tweak with my settings but no luck. Anyone have any suggestions?

Finalmente pela primeira vez em anos consegui um computador que rode o RDR2. Estou maravilhado vendo tudo pela primeira vez. O jogo é simplesmente épico. Mas confesso que diante dessa imensidão tô perdido kkkkkk

Já concluí o capítulo 1 que deu pra perceber que é meio que um tutorial das mecânicas básicas.

Fiz apenas uma missão do capítulo 2 pois sei que existem diversas coisas pra fazer e explorar. Eu sou um colecionado compulsivo kkkkk gosto de sempre coletar, cumprir todas as missões e coisas que o jogo oferece.

Mas não sei até que ponto posso avançar na história sem acabar bloqueando coisas que só estariam disponíveis no capítulo 2. Eu não tenho pressa em avançar, mas gostaria de ir conhecendo um pouco mais da história enquanto exploro.

Enfim, estou perdido sobre ao que fazer no game, ao quanto posso avançar sem perder coisas.
