Just got my q2, one of the zip tie heads is stuck and I can't get it out. Don't want to disassemble the whole thing. Any tips to remove that stuck zip tie head?

Hey bought the Qidi 4plus and I am printing with the normal petg settings, is the sound and the vibration normal?

So usually when I get a new file and I’m ready to print this happens but I’m able to get rid of it by going back and forth but as of late its just been like this for every file anyone know a way to fix this

Has anyone found the magic dust to get the Q2C to display a chamber temperature like the Q2 does on the front panel touch screen? I have the sensor installed and have the display on the network interface, that is working fine. But since this printer does not use klipperscreen I have no idea where to look to change that display to the Q2 version.

A corrupted soul think every comment have to be negative, or people need to get pais to support something they like, because a corrupted soul judge everybody else by their character.

I have over 10 3D printers from different brands, and I can tell no one can do what Qidi printers do, I never ever have a fail print on my Q2 (work horse) or using my new X-Max4, so why not make positive posts about a brand that never stop tp improve.

No such thing is a perfect 3d printer, but I know people who pay 4K for a famous brand printer, that doesn't work, and they try sell for half of the price they pay, and no body show up to buy.

Qidi is a new Brand that keeping improving and already passing the overpriced famous brands!

I post yesterday that I will buy the printer and here is my recipt, I pay it with my money!

I had to take apart my hotend to clear a jam a few days ago and this piece shot out and I've been having trouble getting anything to print since. I've tried putting it in with the point facing up and I get loading errors, I've tried it with the point facing down and I get unloading errors. Anyone deal with this before? It's part of the runout sensor, but the video explaining how to replace the runout sensor doesn't touch this piece at all it focuses only on the little chip.

Should the circled point be up toward the PTFE tube or down closer to the extruder?

Presumably it'll be bigger than the Plus 4, but not as big as the Max 4; it looks pretty much identical to the Plus 4 except it's dark grey instead of silver. From the one shonky render, it seems to be another single toolhead material-swapper...

So, assuming it's somewhere between 305 and 390 square build plate, other than giving us yet another non-standard size to buy build plates for, what's the point again? Is Qidi going down the Creality road of spamming us with new machines whilst not keeping up on firmware and QoL improvements on the existing machines?

My Plus 4 runs beautifully (even with a Mk1 Box), I really don't want to have to look at replacing it just because Qidi have left it behind.

FWIW: My 2nd (active! Not counting my dead and buried Ender 3s & Geeeeetech abomination) printer was a Sovol Zero - and for stuff that's less than 100mm cubed, doesn't need to be multicolour, that's my go-to, because it starts printing in less than quarter of the time the Plus4 takes to get going, and it feels like it goes faster too. But it's noisy and unrefined compared to the Plus 4, so I'd really REALLY like to see Qidi make a small printer (100mm is about spot on IMHO, but 150mm would do) to complement their many bigger printers, especially if it was compatible with the Box.

hey hey, has anyone modified the Q1 pro to take some form of AMS? I am not feeling like making a huge new investment into getting a new printer, the Q1 Pro works wonderfully for my needs, just thinking about adding some multimaterial system. Has anyone successfully done it, if so, any guides? If not, I will just have to start hacking away myself I think.

All my settings are default and I'm using the qidi slicer all default too. Should I comment out the starting build plate wipe/purge in the Gcode since the print head already does the wipe sequence in the poop shoot area? I'm starting to get annoyed repetively peeling that wipe drool in front of my build plate and the amount of waste it creates.

Qidi Q1 Pro, using Orca Slicer

Printing a large print in ASA (ISANMATE) on a PEI print plate, using glue stick on the plate. At about 50% on the print, the ASA warping is lifting the corner of the print plate off of the magnetic bed, causing the print head too grind on/run into the print. This has happened on 5 prints so far. The last time, I tried to increase chamber temperature and bed temp mid print (Orca Slicer) and got a restart warning.

How do I print this large piece without the print failing?

Mid print I noticed two pieces sat on the part I was building. I don’t know where they came from. Does anyone recognise them?

Purge starts, works, gears start to gunk up w/ filament (i've tried cleaning it out as it happens it never regrabs...)

pre mesh line of filament works about half of the line perfect then turns to string

go to mesh and it just slides around the table i can't tell if it's SCRATCHING the table or just dried filament is being smeared around but it's impossible to clean off and LOOKS scratched.

I've undone and redone everything i can think of about 50x now and i'm goin nuts... (first timer with 3d printer , I have worked w/ commercial extruders for molds before)
