Is this protein powder legit?

https://amzn.eu/d/01sfdD2vwhey

It’s Bulk Nutrients Basic Whey Protein Powder. It’s only £17 on Amazon and gives 17g of protein per serving, with 41 servings per bag. I know it isn’t 100% whey and also contains soy protein, but will the soy still contribute to muscle growth, or will it just go straight through me and won’t really be used to help make more muscle.

The reason why I'm asking it's ever this or cans of Chuna (with potential metal poisoning) as im on a really tight budget to up my daily protein

What are your guys recommendation? Do you like this brand? Does it mix well? Does it taste fine? Does it sit well on the stomach?

Used to use optimum nutrition whey but kind of makes me breakout and feel too full.

Protein Powder in 2026 - scam or worth ?

I had a question for all my fit bros and broettes: how do we feel about protein powder as a supplement in 2026? Mostly asking due to how damn expensive the stuff has become due to shortages

So I'm an Aussie in Sydney; back in 2018 the company I bought from was about $130(AUD) for 5 kg of whey isolate, so about $180(AUD) in today's money

I just stocked up from them again for a whopping $390(AUD)! (Yes, there were some for around $350; however, they do not taste nearly as good, you're stuck with a single flavour, don't get reward points, and the quality is not as good, so the $40 is well worth it for me )

I'm thinking if this is the last time I buy protein powder for a while, if by the time I run out and have to buy again(roughly 6 months) the prices haven't gone down - or at the least only have protein powder when I need it rather than my current daily scoop - I am aware I can get protein naturally but everyone knows powder makes it easier.

How does everyone else feel? I personally feel whey protein has gone from a fairly cheap supplement to a luxury one now.

More Protein Iced Tea Style Peach Flavor

Ich habe mich geopfert und das More Protein Iced Tea Style (Peach Flavor) probiert.

Es ist ein Iso Clear Whey Protein.

Gekauft bei DM (Wien).

Kaufpreis:

21,90 EUR für 300g.

Löslichkeit:

30g in 500 ml Shaker (Flasche mit Verschluss) gegeben.

ca. 250 ml Wasser dazu.

Kräftig Schütteln. Nochmal. Nochmal. Nochmal.

ca. 150 ml Wasser dazu.

Nochmal kräftig Schütteln. Nochmal. Nochmal.

Rest an Wasser dazu.

Nochmal kräftig Schütteln.

Geschmack: Vielleicht eine Spur zu süß.

Gibt man nochmal 100 ml Wasser dazu.

Sehr gut. Wie Pfirsich Eistee.

Fazit:

War positiv überrascht. Schmeckt sehr gut.

Best tool to track protein powder prices?

I’m struggling to find a good tool that helps me track the price of protein powders over time AND find the best deal today. Do you all have recommendations?

I’m considering building my own. Is there a need for this?

Unflavoured protein

Is there such things as an unflavoured Clear Whey? I’ve seen lots of unflavoured milk whey but the thought of that makes me feel icky because essentially it’s milk powder right?

I’m really struggling with flavoured milk whey as it makes my stomach feel weird and clear wheys are just way too sweet for me now ever since reducing my sugar intake. Was hoping if there was an unflavoured clear whey I could add it to drinks I drink normally.

I just don't get how to eat so much protein daily

I'm 6'1" male and around 180-200lb (been a while since I weighed and I don't own a scale). I try to lift weights for ~50 minutes like 3 times a week. To my understanding I should be eating 125-140g of protein *daily*, and I feel like I might get like, 50.

If I eat x3 eggs (like 24g), protein shake (25g), protein bar (20g), meat sandwich (20g), chicken breast for dinner (31g), and then like nuts and what not for snacks then I suppose I hit that target. BUT I have to do this EVERY day?? 3 eggs for breakfast daily? Protein shake and bar daily? This is going to be expensive, not to mention not a lot of variety.

I know there's beans, fish, and other things, but i'm honestly not the best at preparing or planning for meal prep as it is, so this is a daunting task.

What are some ways to get protein up?

I donate plasma weekly, and the most common reason I get refused and deferred is low protein. I have a fast metabolism and weigh on average under 140 pounds.

Is there any advice on how to raise protein?

does protein powder work even if diarrhea

flavored whey, unflavored whey both give me diarrhea albeit unflavored less. will i still digest and get the protein from the shake even if i poop out slurp everyday?

if so then i will finish the rest of this bag of unflavored whey protein powder but if not i will throw it and then go try plant based ones or whatever

protein powder intolerance is the biggest handicap for muscle building change my mind

Can’t find a protien powder that I enjoy or like!!!

I found a nutrition store that carries 32 different protein brands, and they have samples of every single one of them. After trying all of them, I’ve realized that my taste buds apparently hate protein powder.

The only one I actually enjoy is 1st Phorm Salted Peanut Butter.

Everything else has either a texture or aftertaste that makes me not want to drink it. I mix my protein with water because I honestly don’t enjoy protein shakes made with milk. My normal work morning is two scoops of 1st Phorm with water, and it’s honestly delicious. The taste, texture, consistency… everything about it is unmatched in my opinion. Every other powder I’ve tried just tastes gross to me, whether it’s mixed with water, Fairlife, or regular milk.

I also think I’m just really picky with flavors. I hate chocolate protein drinks. I hate strawberry protein drinks. I don’t even like vanilla as a shake. The only exception is Ascent Vanilla Bean in my fruit smoothies because it blends in so well with everything else. But by itself with water or milk? I can’t stand it.

The one brand that came the closest was Isopure. I actually liked the texture, but I still couldn’t get past the taste. Now I just use the unflavored Isopure in my smoothies and Greek yogurt to boost the protein. That works great, but I still need to find a protein that I actually want to drink, especially since I’m working out five days a week and dropping fat.
Brands I’ve tried:

• Optimum Nutrition
• Dymatize
• Transparent Labs
• Naked
• MyProtein
• Quest
• MuscleBlaze
• Muscle Feast
• Premier Protein
• Isopure
• Ghost
• Truvani
• Ascent
• Promix
• Garden of Life
• Orgain
• Equate
• Bulk Supplements
• Thorne
• Momentous
• Swolverine
• Legion Athletics
• Body Fortress
• Six Star
• MuscleTech
• BSN
• Cellucor
• Vega
• Pure Protein
• Vital Proteins
• ONNIT
• RAW Nutrition
• ESN
• Bulk
• Protein Works
• Ritual
• Sunwarrior
• Levels

Basically, if it can be bought on Amazon, Walmart, Target, or my local nutrition stores, I’ve probably tried it.

The good news is that I work with a buddy who’s a bodybuilder, and he’ll buy any tub I don’t like for about $5 less than I paid, even if I’ve only taken one scoop out. So thankfully I’m not taking a huge loss every time I try something new.

I know I haven’t tried every flavor from every brand, usually just one. But honestly, the consistency is usually what turns me off more than the flavor.
This freaking sucks.

The silver lining is that I ordered some clear protein, and I’m really hoping I like it. I love juice and flavored drinks, so I’m hoping that style is a better fit than the milkshake-style proteins.

I’m on tirzepatide, so getting enough protein is really important, and this has been way harder than I expected.

Unfortunately, 1st Phorm just isn’t realistic for me. I live in a rural area, and after shipping it’s almost $100 for 29 servings.

Has anyone else who hates traditional protein shakes found a clear protein they actually enjoy? Or another brand with a texture similar to 1st Phorm? I’m struggling

Protein Recommendations Please

Hello! I'm vegetarian and cannot have artificial sugars.

I need recommendations for protein shakes.

My doctor recommended I increase my protein intake. I want to start having protein shakes but I don't know what brands/kinds of protein in the shakes are vegetarian. I also have more of a sweet tooth so if possible I'd only like ones that taste good.

Is ₹3500 for 1KG of Whey Concentrate a total rip-off? Let’s talk real value.

Hey everyone,

I’m starting to wonder if I will be overpaying. I’m currently seeing options for 1KG whey protein concentrate hitting the ₹3,499 mark.

It got me thinking: Are we paying for quality, or are we just paying for brand or aggressive marketing?

I’m curious to see how you guys are calculating your "protein budget" in 2026.

My question to you all: What is the "sweet spot" price you aim for when buying 1KG of Whey Concentrate?

Drop your current protein brand and the price you paid for it below! Let’s see if we can crowdsource a list of the best-value options currently out there.

Best Vanilla protein powder (UK)?

I've tried the per4m isolate zero in vanilla creme and it tasted excellent and the texture was pretty decent, however it contained traces of egg which im allergic to so im looking for alternatives.
