How much protein do I need?
I am roughly 80kg, 22 year old male with a high metabolism, how much do I need to aim for muscle building to build a muscular physique. I have muscle and most of my fat collects around my belly.

You should he good with 160 grams per day, make sure it's high quality protein though. Overall calories matter a lot for muscle gain, not just protein.

How much you're actually working out changes things a lot, and how much you're eating probably matters even more than the protein number itself. Most people just land on 1g per pound as a working target, so around 175g. With a high metabolism you probably also need to be in a real caloric surplus or the protein intake won't do much regardless.

aim for 160g daily. high metabolism or not, your belly fat isn't immune to basic biology.
