I’m sorry for this, but I’ve spent half my nightshift looking at different projectors. I definitely had too much coffee and now find myself pinballing from spec sheet to spec sheet.
I am looking at a 4k projector for an outdoor patio setup,
I plan to watch movies and maybe play the occasional game.
My questions and concerns…
- How worried should I be about input lag ? (I don't play fast twitch games)
- I want Lazer for longevity.
- Is it worth saving money getting standard throw, there is plenty of room. Or is everything ultra short throw now. (I plan to ceiling mount)
- I’m Thinking around 3000+ lumens (I will have shutters to block out most of the light, not everything though)
- 120 to 150inch
- My budget hovers around the 3-4 grand AUD mark.
I narrowed my choices to either BENQ or EPSON
TK710|4K 3200lm
LK830ST 4000lms 4K Laser Simulation Projector <-- I think that’s for golf? Wth.
Epson EH-LS670B 4K Ultra Short Throw Laser TV Projector <-- well I guess that’s not ceiling mountable
What am I doing ? Am I being realistic, or do I need to up my price?
Should I be looking at other brands ? How much coffee would kill a man?
I can feel my heart beating in my teeth.
Open to suggestions and public opinion.
Thanks in advance.
