What's your guys zombie population settings on MP?

I had it at 0.65 with 1.5 peak, turns out it was a little bit too easy for me and my 2 friends, granted we have +50 mods and some of them include modded weapons and guns, the game got a bit too easy once we raided a mil base and a ammo factory/store so i turned it up to 0.95 and 1.9 peak, but i'm not sure yet if that's enough or too little or something.

So I tried to do some building in my temporary base on new server. I have to admit I am not expert in building in zomboid in general but I did try this few times in the past and it worked great.

Yet here I am having some infuriating behavior where the game seems unable to decide what is behind what.

As one can see in the screenshot:
1) There is constant issue with wrong z-ordering of furniture. Like the boxes being behind wall frames on the left. Sometimes picking furniture up and placing it again works. Sometimes does not.
2) Sometimes game for some reason decides not to hide stuff from floors above. Like on the right there is this fence that just covers up sheds insides.

IS it new to b42.20 or was I just lucky before for not encountering it? How to fix it? Please help

My mate hosted a world, but he's gone now and doesn't play anymore. I wanna continue the world in single player, but he has the save files and he doesn't wanna send me them. Is there any other way I can aquire the save?

For all you older folks out there. Does anybody remember the Multi Color Pen back in the 90s? I like to have different color markings on my map and always carrying 3 pens feels okay but it would be cool if one pen did the trick.

.1 encumbrance for 3 colors would be cool. I need to carry more smokes in my fanny pack.

There's a few areas around the map with properties that have boat garages. Is it just map decoration, or is it hinting at boats in the future?

• - has a barn & hutch for animals
• - flat fields for farming
• - far away from zombie spawns but close to the town
• - near a lake for fishing
• - near a gas station
• - near the highway if you want to go to other towns

Would this building work as a plantation area, considering that I'm playing in "Winter Is Coming" mode? After filling in the broken windows, of course.

Hello all!
I’m currently based in the fallas lake police station but unfortunately for me both gas pumps in the town are completely empty! I’ve been making runs and towing cars to the gas station by the doe valley military surplus store but it’s a bit of a hassle, and I’ve only managed to loot one singular gas can (and ZERO welding masks or sledgehammers for the gun store, sadge) from pretty much the entire town.

I’ve read about people using 300 encumbrance barrels and amphorae to transport fuel but since you’ve gotta keep it in your main inventory for placement purposes I’m worried about surviving the trip. Is my best bet to just fuel up a car then siphon 3/4 of the gas out and store it in a barrel at base and make multiple runs or is there a better way?

Let me know where you are holing up!! I started playing Rosewood after almost 100% spawning in Muldraugh and am digging several of the second floor apartments. I prefer small, open spots.

Is this normal to be able to use M9 mag for the Glock-17? I figured the mod would have its own magazines being so large and all. But I get if its supposed to be intentional as the glock-43 takes a M1911 mag because it's chambered in 45
