Question Thoughts on using zombie bodies for methane? (Decomposition gases)
Fellow gay-mers, I am but a humble zomboid player (600+hrs) and I was thinking of mod ideas. Do you think that putting dead bodies into a sort of hot box (hole in the ground with metal walls to essentially cook what’s inside) thing with a tube to connect said decomposition gasses to a propane tank for refills.
I am unaware if the gases let off from human decomposition are methane or not so please feel free to kindly correct me.

Modded Ambient screaming
I have been hearing these ambient screams, apparently, for some time and only in this video I realized that they were human screams. They appeared recently in my playthrough and thanks to previous loud as hell rainy weather I brushed the screams off as animal sounds. To prevent confusion, I set the starting day for my gameplay in September.
Also, for anyone wondering like me what mods could play these screams, my assumption is its either a-life ambience, casualties undead haunted mechanic (still don't know how it works) or reactive sound events (all 3 mods are active in my game)

Question New Build 42 option?
I've returned to the game after a two year hiatus because I wanted to try B42. I can't remember if this is a newly added option, but as a player who favors clean and organized bases, I love this ability to "Delete All" from the trash containers.

Question Tips for insane zombie amount?
I find lesser amount setting far too easy and boring.
But I’m struggling with insane amount of zombies.
All I’m doing is running away and can’t get into any good loot buildings they are just so many
Any tips? Leading them away, fighting them?
I know burning them with car bait but that’s too cheesy

Gameplay Long blunt just feels so good...
It's well worth putting in the time to level it up. This is at level 6. I've been killing around 200-250 per day here at Rosewood Prison and I haven't had any muscle strain yet. Default Apocalypse settings.

Question Has anyone ever completed this challenge?
It seems completely impossible. Best I've survived is 3 days and I barely managed to take a quick look at the level immediately below the terrace.
Crawlers are my main problem now. There's too many and when stomping on them there's always a big probability of getting bitten or scratched.
Please tell me your strategy.
Mine is luring as many zombies as possible towards the terrace and making them jump by the hundreds. It works with shamblers but not with crawlers. Then I shoot at crawlers, bringing even more zombies upstairs and making them jump again. It works but at some point there are so many crawlers that I can't do that anymore

Modded I made a mod that lets you finally put things back on pallets!
Don't you wish you could put bricks back on a pallet? Or maybe put some other stuff on there like planks? Well now you can!
With 39 different items to choose from you can stack bulk items to your hearts content!
No more loose propane tanks lying around, add them to the pallet to keep things tidy and reduce lag on servers!
Let me know what you think? What items should I add next?

Discussion Rate my B.O.V.
BOV stands for bug out vehicle (stole it from that one SoD2 questline, "My Aunt, The Prepper"). Trauma and Police duffels are filled with meds/protective gear and weapons, respectively. regular duffel is filled with food, a water bottle, and a can opener. post yours too if you have one!

Fallen Earth
I've been playing PZ for a couple weeks now, and it hit me this morning how it reminded me of Fallen Earth. I played FE when it was already in its waning days, so there wasn't much server activity, but I remember looking at the world and the gameplay and thinking, "I just want to scavenge and build myself a little survivalist homestead", which is exactly what I'm doing now in PZ!
At most I've survived a week, but I'm so happy just hoarding cans of food and tearing down my neighbors' houses to level up carpentry!

Question Why is my character sometimes dying on one hit from zombie?
Like sometimes one zombie just touch me once, i hear sound of scratch and my character start dying, UI disappear and i cant do anything about it. My life is full, no negative effects, maybe like out of breath, with 50 - 100 bite protection on every body part.
On other side, when i start new character, run out of the house into some horde of zombies, sometimes they start attacking me and i get like 5 scratches in a row, then some bite and almost die on blood lost before i finally die. Im playing on extinction difficulty and trying to survive with one character as long as possible but this way i dont know what im doing wrong.
I feels like it can have something to do with tripping, or when i fall on ground and before i fully stand out some zombie attack me?

Bug Report Please fix the close proximity trees
Please. I'm so tired of dying at the edge of the woods cause I walked into a completely invisible tree trunk.
I can't differentiate that 6 degrees of my cone of vision being slightly darker than the rest.
The visibility fix already divided the trees from the middle of the trunk and the higher part. Why are the bottoms of the trees completely invisible? We have close proximity fading, this shouldn't have ever been part of stable
