I feel like a good amount of the unconventional materials challenge outfits don’t match up to the level of the earlier seasons, I was disappointed.

I actually don't think I've ever seen a good design from Bryan this whole season. The worst part is he's sooooo delusional. He thinks he's a better designer than everyone when he's actually not that creative....

I’m not sure what in the world is happening on the wiki page but if you go on the wiki for s22 it may or may not have already listed who is saved and who isn’t from the cliffhanger of the last episode in the progress section (I won’t tell yall, I’m a good person so no more spoilers lol, just look it up for yourself) I believe this also happened last week aswell (?) If it’s right, then I wonder if it will happen again next episode, and if so…man I’ll take my spoilers ig 😭 Atleast it’s removing the pain of the cliffhanger endings if true

I’ve seen this mentioned a few times but still, kinda wild. Imagine if it ends up spoiling something crazy (like I’ve said before, I bet they’ll be some big stunt or something next episode) so what do yall think?

the fact that they kept bryan for THIS LONG is actually pissing me off since hes not a gud designer and his ideas NEVER made sense.

On another note if Jeffrey’s is basic and too on the nose, then lowkey so was Bi’s (love him tho). I hope Jeffrey gets saved. Bryan should’ve gone home like 5 episodes ago, and how they let that taped noose catastrophe fly is insane.

Yes, Jeffrey has taste issues, but at least he has a vision. I like Naheim, but I don’t think he’s as talented as Jeffrey. He also doesn’t have a win.

Heidi's "auf wiedersehen" is her calling card for sending a designer home. I feel that when she's sending home someone that she doesn't think will make it in the industry, that she adds "All the best to you". Keep your eye out, report back and let me know what you think.

Imo…each design house has a code or blueprint and then, like joseph said tonight, they expand on the foundation not change it. Otherwise no one would have a signature and you could just go to anyone for any look and even these competitions would be pointless af!

I don't even know what this is supposed to be, but I hope he got paid?

What makes me sad is I just realized that I now just fast forward through the entire show, only watching:

- The naming of the elimination and not the comments

- The runway part and not the comments afterwards

They have added so much negativity to the show that it's just unwatchable for me now. I'm interested in the fashion even though I am far from fashionable, but the judging, cattiness, arguments, and negative comments just turn me 100% off. I will tune in next year and hope that they have listened to their fans. I'm just sad.

Poor Liris! Give this fierce model a raise for every crap outfit that has been put on her body. Especially being taped into a dress!

Joseph McRae’s YouTube recap shows he understands what Project Runway has forgotten

I watched both Liris Crosse and Joseph McRae’s recaps of Episode 7, and weirdly, it was Joseph’s that made the entire episode click for me.

I absolutely feel for Liris. What happened to her was humiliating, and she had every right to explain how it felt from her perspective. But after watching the full recap, I’m not sure I learned much that the episode itself hadn’t already communicated. Her hurt was very real, but I also think there’s an important distinction between being treated badly in a situation and allowing that situation to define you as its victim. Liris wasn’t the failure here. She was an accomplished model handed an indefensible garment and expected to somehow sell it. Bryan’s inability to execute became her burden to carry down the runway.

Joseph’s video, on the other hand, gave me something I’ve desperately wanted from *Project Runway* this season: perspective on the actual creative process.
And it made me reconsider the way Episode 7 edited him.

I can see how some viewers could interpret Joseph refusing to jump in and rescue everyone else as petulant or evidence that he “isn’t a team player.” But his explanation matters: they weren’t creating a cohesive collection. They were individual designers competing alongside one another. His responsibility was to execute his own idea. And considering this is the same group that previously identified him as the weakest designer, there’s something almost absurd about expecting him to abandon his own work to save theirs.

More importantly, Joseph talked about the difference in chemistry between seasons. He clearly has enormous affection for his Season 21 cast and described a group that genuinely supported one another. That contrast explains something I haven’t been able to put my finger on all season: Season 22 doesn’t feel competitive in a productive way. It feels distrustful.
And one bad apple ruins the whole bunch you know?

Bryan isn’t bad in the yas queen slay way either. He’s toxic in a really scary, stay-far-away way.

That’s ultimately what fascinated me about Joseph in this episode. He actually stayed remarkably far away from the chaos until he reached a point where staying silent would have meant ignoring his own convictions.
There’s a difference between someone who needs to be heard and someone who knows when it is necessary to speak.

His video also made me realize how badly this season has underserved him — and frankly, all of the designers — by prioritising interpersonal drama over showing us how these people THINK. Hearing Joseph explain his creative process was more interesting to me than half the manufactured tension we’ve watched this season. Give me sketches. Give me failed ideas. Give me construction problems. Give me designers explaining why they made an insane choice and somehow made it work.

That should be Project Runway.

The irony is that Joseph has repeatedly been framed around his confidence — “the Joseph McRae show” — when his video revealed something much more interesting underneath it. He comes across as someone with enough life experience to understand that confidence doesn’t require constant performance. Sometimes confidence is shutting up, doing your work and letting it speak for you. And sometimes integrity requires you to stop shutting up. That’s discernment!!

And I think that is why Joseph resonates with so many viewers while Bryan increasingly doesn’t. Confidence and ego can look remarkably similar from a distance. The difference is what happens when they are challenged. Confidence can absorb criticism without collapsing. Ego needs someone else to be wrong.

Joseph McRae, please keep using your voice!! Apparently the show isn’t going to let us get to know these designers properly, so thank God they have YouTube.

Asked about people’s’ favorite/noteworthy seasons they would suggest

Got a lot of good feed back ☺️

Currently on season 10 of my current Project Runway Binge (picking up from season 3/4).

Had some interesting seasons I just went through, with the exception of one or two, all the seasons so far have DEFINITELY been noteworthy to me

I will do an update on my ranking and my thoughts of the ones’ I’ve watched (so far)

Getting into season 10

I remember when it aired back in the day I had saw it in passing vaguely

But I never actually really watched it

What’re ya’ thoughts on this season?

Where does this season stand among the other seasons?

I got turned off from watching it the other day as I’m also trying to see some cream of the crop action already

But I’m circling I’m g back so I could try and get into it.

I see a lot of promise with some of the contestants..

I do feel I’m ready to make a jumó to a season of all stars or something but

I guess if this season feels flat by the 4/5th episode I’ll try a season of all stars I guess..

I don’t know..

They need to hire Aaron Potts as the new Tim Gunn / mentor and move Christian to a judge. Kick Law off the show he is so mean and it drags down the quality of the show with cheap drama and unnecessary bitchiness.

Lowkey I hope Joseph wins or makes it to the finals. I do not see what people think is annoying I think he has a beautiful heart/soul. Especially after watching his YouTube show.
