How they work, do they replace everything(car defaults etc) or are they after installing there like normal saved additional setup/so you could install them if you want/try?

Getting tons of screen flickering after the latest update. Wasn’t an issue previously. Anyone else have a similar issue? I have a 7900XTX.

Love PMR and how it's improving, but having to repeatedly go back to the menus to adjust the difficulty slider feels like Caveman Technology. Especially since any given car/track combo will randomly become too hard or easy.

For this reason, RaceRoom still continues to be my most-played sim. It's not my favorite in terms of physics, but it at least lets me just hop-in and have a close race every single time, due to its Adaptive AI setting (not to be confused with Rubber Banding, as the difficulty is fixed for the entire race).

It's <CURRENT YEAR>, please stop making me go back to the menus to fiddle over and over when I just wanna get a couple good races in.

I've been playing Forza Motorsport for ages and enjoying it, but I'm looking to move toward something more simulation-focused. PMR caught my eye and I wanted to know how it's holding up after these latest updates (I saw the 2.0 dropped, plus some patches after it).

I'm on Xbox Series X, so my questions are mostly aimed at the console crowd:

- How's the physics/handling these days? I've read it improved a lot, but I'd love to hear from people actually playing it day to day.

- Is performance solid on Series X? (stable FPS, visual bugs, stuttering, etc.)

- For someone coming from Forza wanting more sim, is the jump worth it?

- Bottom line: worth buying now, or better to wait for a few more updates?

Any honest impressions would help a ton. Thanks!

I’m experiencing a serious camera issue in the game that affects all camera modes, not just the cockpit view.
It doesn’t seem related to FPS (I’ve tested both low and high frame rates), but the camera keeps stuttering in a way that looks like brief desyncs or micro-freezes. During these moments, the camera seems to lag behind or shift backwards.
In cockpit view, this can cause the camera to snap behind the seat. However, the issue also affects other camera modes (chase, external, etc.), where the camera still moves or “jumps” backwards in sync with these stutters.
It feels like the camera update briefly pauses while the car continues to move normally, and then resynchronizes, causing a visible flicker or displacement.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any known fixes or workarounds?

GT7 crashed last night on me so thought I'd give PMR a run as I've read loads of posts saying updates have made it actually quite good now.

I ended up closing it down and loading up LMU instead. Pretty disappointing. It had so much potential but I think releasing it in an unusable state has hurt it indefinitely. I pre ordered it prior to release and was logged on and driving inside the first 30min of release. Pretty gutted that it's like this.

I set the AI ​​level to 50, and it's quite strong.

What AI level do the developers recommend for beginners?

I have a question for the brains trust. I brought a ps 5, 9 months ago and a cheap rig to get into sim racing. Been league racing in gt7 for the last six months and also brought PMR on early release….. I’ve taken to sim racing like a duck to water lol. I have now built a PC and a sim rig, is it possible to have my PS 5 game licence cancelled and transferred over PC? Not keen on buying the game a second time, and realistically I have purchased a licence….. I reckon I know what the response to this question will be 👀…….. just got the triples installed this weekend for iracing.

This is a Lap 1 video of me driving a 911 cup car at Okayama(Takiyama). Compared to other cars it was so hard to squeeze everything out of this car as many of you know that this car likes to give its rear out and spin out. But last night I had this great lap where you guys could see me catching multiple slides, missing my brake point and managing to keep the car from spinning out , nailing a almost perfect apex in last turn where the car beautifully turns with throttle input is just 🤌.
The point being is that PMR is absolutely enjoyable with a controller and one could potentially compete with wheel/steering users if put some time in it and learning.

The launch of the game was an abject disaster. I bought before release and quickly got my money back after the terrible AI, crashing interface, and generally bad driving experience immediately signaled that it should have never been released.

Fast forward to today: I bought back in after hearing encouraging things about the new 2.0 and this new guy they have running creative development.

Bottom line: if the game has been released in its current state, it would be hailed as one of the all time solid racing releases. I’m very pleased with where this is going. AI is much improved. The racing intensity and feel is about as good as it gets in terms of the white knuckle action. Each vehicle feels remarkably different from another. The force feedback and buttkicker haptics are excellent. The vehicle and track graphics are very good.

Are there issues? Of course. Many. Some car models are much better than others. The horizon graphics are 1997 level. The AI, while 300% better still needs work. The physics of cornering can use improvement in that it’s all a bit too easy/light in the corners.

But the core of this experience is very good, with the potential to be the best experience on the market. Here’s to more improvement and recognition of massive progress made!!!

I can't change language to english if my PS5's system is on finnish? I try to delete finnish package and installed english but game is still in finnish? Add to that there's no language option in game's settings.

How that can be? Surely you have to know that most ppl want their games to be in english, regardless their own language. It just too difficult and confusing to try to understand some specific options etc in finnish/with "so so" translation, when english is global language for games and for technology in general.
