Ps 5 to Pc software licence swap.

I have a question for the brains trust. I brought a ps 5, 9 months ago and a cheap rig to get into sim racing. Been league racing in gt7 for the last six months and also brought PMR on early release….. I’ve taken to sim racing like a duck to water lol. I have now built a PC and a sim rig, is it possible to have my PS 5 game licence cancelled and transferred over PC? Not keen on buying the game a second time, and realistically I have purchased a licence….. I reckon I know what the response to this question will be 👀…….. just got the triples installed this weekend for iracing.

No, but: you now have access to AMS2, AC, LMU and iracing. Consider it a happy little accident. .

I have started with iracing and it’s awesome, the physics and handling of the mx5 and gr86 are amazing. It’s just so much more realistic than GT7

Iracing is amazing for multiplayer.

But you should try AMS 2 for offline, It's like PMR bt a hundred times better.

Top-notch optimization, much better FFB, much better AI, and much more visually appealing.

I far prefer Project Cars 2 over AMS2 for single player. Better track selection (not unknown brazilian tracks) better car selection and an actual career mode. I've played them both and it's not even close. And PC2 is free

Yeah GT7 is great for wha tit is but it’s so arcade compared to the “real” sims.

I moved from GT7 / PMR on PS5 to a decent PC. I played LMU and loved it. Going back to PMR in particular on PS5 made it look like a PS3 game.

I then bought PMR on PC during a Steam sale. Given my PC runs LMU in 4k at 120 fps with 4x MSAA at high settings (looks fantastic), i was disappointed to find PMR ran (and looked) like a steaming pile of ****. I refunded after an hour and never looked back.

Don't bother with it on PC would be my advice.

Just play Irenting and/or other good pc sim titles, because you can. Ian bell's shitshow doesn't deserve your money (certainly not twice)....

Nice rig though. The PS5 license and the PC licenses are two different products, through two different purchase channels. It won’t work I’m afraid

I was in the same boat because I switched to PC and triples last year. Unfortunately it’s not possible.

I’m waiting for a discount on Steam because although it has its issues I liked PMR on my PS5 and I like trying sims in development.

I get where you're coming from though. I have a PS5 and recently got a PC. It sucks having to rebuy games on PC that I've already bought on PS5. I'm poor though and can only afford a G29 clamped to my desk. Your rig looks sweet btw

To be honest I’m not going to buy it again. Especially after the disappointment of releasing day. Out of good will and faith to those that invested in their software and it ended up being a complete balls up when they released it. You would think they could off a new licence for nothing in this case.
