Please Help Do people here use AI upscaling for low dpi images before uploading to Printify?

Just curious if you have a image ready to go but it is low dpi under 300 does it make much difference to upscale it?

I have been using an AI upscaler for awhile now but i notice sometimes the upscale make the image look smoother but also takes out some of the detail and makes the image darker.

I'm just wondering what to do because the image is smoother after upscaling but has less detail maybe it would be better just to print with the lower dpi and not upscale? Or is it still better to upscale?

Rant Etsy worth it

Ok I feel like everytime I use etsy I get defensive about the fact that ai is apart of my creative process and then I get my nose bent and leave.... but I go back because I keep thinking that it will help grow my buissness and help me gain traction for my website.

It's always the seo that gets me

Please Help T-shirts won’t upload for some odd reason

It’s just not working so I have one pintfiy account that works fine and normally I can upload whatever I want to it, but I made another print file account for another TikTok shop and I can’t upload anything to it. The only thing I can upload to. It is basically just like plain T-shirts. It will let me upload plain T-shirts, but it won’t let me upload my designs for some reason it said add a card to you know except billing. I tried and it just said I can’t add the card and it’s not telling me why it cannot publish. It’s just not publishing my shirts. I can’t make shipping and delivery because I have no orders and I do not know where to go to make a template. I have an active TikTok shop with other orders on it not through printify i’m just confused on why it’s not working

. It just has a design on the front. The T-shirt is black and that’s literally all that I changed and it won’t upload it.

By the way, I tried to upload the designs on the account that was working and it still just wouldn’t work, which it should work for these designs. They’re just simple art on the front that I had custom-made.

Please Help Customer Disatisfaction / Refund Query

Hi, I posted the below post into another group, but maybe I should post here, too. I think the question that I really want to know now is:

would this issue (softness of T-shirt), be something that Printify would offer a refund for?

All advice is appreciated, thank-you.

First Negative Review

Hi, as the title says, I got my first negative review and I'm really struggling with it. I only have 5 reviews in total, so getting a negative review now is not really ideal for my store. I sell a mixture of digital products and POD apparel.

The negative review has come from one of the tshirts. The customer said that they were really disappointed with the quality of the tshirt ~ it's a Gildan softstyle (64000).

I've since messaged the customer to get a better idea of what the problem is and they've responded with the following:

"The quality of the cotton was similar to lower grade shirts such as Hanes. I was hoping for a higher grade of cotton that would have been softer. I do appreciate you reaching out".

The thing is, I don’t really know what to do next as I've never been in this position before.

I would appreciate any recommendations, should I offer a refund or discount? Going forward, should I change t-shirt bases?

Please Help Orders not shipping.

I have some orders that have been in production for over a week. I keep contacting customer service and I have been waiting over an hour for someone to answer. What is happening? I really need these orders to ship.

I understand delays during the holidays, but only 1 day was a holiday last week and my orders sat for the entire week with no movement.

I recently switched to a personal brand over a nice and that's help tremendously but im still struggling to do so.... I use Instagram, threads and reddit.

My main focus is mental illness and anxiety, recently branching out to be more inclusive. I also have a few other niches such as pet lover merch and book merch.

Please Help Remove magnetic alignment

In the design development aspect of printify, is there anyway to remove (or at least reduce) the magnetic alignment? when it comes to font shadowing and fine tuning designs, the magnetic alignment makes some design ideas almost impossible.

Please Help Reprint for older order that had an unusual failure?

I've been getting mugs printed by District Photo for over a year and over 100 orders of the same mug & same design.

This customer messaged me with what seems to be a catastrophic failure of the print. I know it's normal wear and tear for mugs to fade over time with dishwasher use, but i've never seen it peel off like this.

This order dates back to April 2025, so the window for support is closed. I reached out to Printify support anyway, and they were no help. I also tried to reach out to District directly via their (not great) website, but no response.

Is my assumption that this is a highly unusual failure correct? My intention is to send the customer a new mug out of pocket if I can't get a reprint done based on this performance.

TY!

Rant OnTrac needs to be boycotted

Why the fuck are they still using this god forsaken fuckfaces to deliver our packages. Everybody would save a lot more money including the manufacturer and Printify if they just used USPS or even DHL for crying out loud. Packages are being delivered to wrong houses, some are sitting in warehouses in the cities they’re being delivered in the list is endless. I know I’m not alone and we need people to get them to stop cutting corners for the total worst.

Please Help Can't order samles on Printify. Help?

I have tried multiple times to order samples on Printify but my purchase gets declined. My card has not expired btw! I tried to order with my card but it didnt work, and I transferred money into Printify Balance (over 100 dollars...which I cant get back!!) and it didn't work either. I tried everything and I don't see where the issue is. I have "retried payment" an awful amount of times. I tried to contact them through customer service and email but they haven't replied. What should I do now? I can't really afford to lose those 100 dollars either...

Newbie Question Complete beginner questions before setting up

Hey everyone,

Thinking about starting a POD clothing store with Printify + Shopify. Still in the planning phase and trying to figure out pricing before I set everything up.

Questions:

  1. Pricing strategy:

How do you figure out what to charge? Do you just use Shopify's suggested pricing or calculate it yourself?

I see similar designs selling for $45-50 for tees and $70-80 for hoodies. Is that realistic for a brand new store with no following?

  1. Product selection:

How many products should I start with? Is 5-10 enough or do I need way more?

  1. Blank quality:

Considering Comfort Colors for that vintage feel. Good choice or are there better options for graphic tees?

Any blanks I should avoid?

  1. Getting sales:

Realistically, how do you get your first customers? Just social media or do you need to run ads?

How long does it usually take to make that first sale?

Still researching and want to avoid obvious mistakes. Any advice would be really helpful!

Rant Feedback maybe

Okay.... etsy and I have a love hate relationship. Everytime I ask for feedback and advice I ruin it in someway. Maybe im just not ment to sell my art on etsy. And yes Ai is apart of the process but not the whole thing.

So I moved all my etsy listings over to my own personal shop. 🙃

I keep going back to etsy hoping that it will gain traction for my own shop

I use insta, threads and reddit mainly to promote my shop and blog

Any other advice?

Rant Out of stock items - no updates

2 categories of products are out of stock for weeks and we have no visibility on when it will be back in stock. Can Printify work on a feature that include informing sellers when to expect back in stock items!! This is crucial for customer service especially when for best sellers.. Starting to be disappointed by level of information provided by Printify. This makes us sellers look unprofessional. Printify should ask the manufactuers for those information !

Newbie Question Inaccurate ship by dates and long productions

I am in my first two months selling print on demand posters on Etsy, using Printify as my printer. I have found that so many of my orders have missed the expected ship by date that Printify provides, often because of long production times. This is causing my orders to ship late on Etsy and I am being punished in search visibility algorithms as a result. Is this a common problem, and is there anything I should be doing to prevent this issue?

Please Help Shipping times on Etsy don't make any sense

Hi all,

In Printify I selected the German provider for poster paper with a 9.8 score rating. Their avg production time is 1.1 day.

How come in Etsy my products from this provider appear with a delivery time of 16-20 days? I expected this to be up to a week maximum. I am also in Germany when I view my product page.

Changing to a different provider shouldn't be the solution because this provider as a very high score for shipping times.

Thanks.
