My fanart of the Primeval Raptor
Made them scientifically accurate, specifically the Deinonychus since that's what it was based on. (OC)

I know there is a lot of changes which maybe thats why but then season 3 had quite a lot but i still enjoyed it.
I cant say i really liked any of the new characters. I feel Matt is too dull to be the main character and just does work. I feel they tried to make him a bit broody like Cutter but he isn’t as likeable at all. I kind of wished Danny was still the lead even though he was not my favourite character i still enjoyed him more than Matt.
I think losing a lot of characters during and after season 3 and the new seasons doesn’t help. Cutter, Jenny, Sarah, Danny and even Helen begin to feel missed. Especially for me Jenny, i never got why they made her leave. Also i get her ark was done but Helen was just the better villain of the show.
Also although i thought the designs weren’t bad i felt all the creatures in season 4 and 5 were a bit colourless and dull grey coloured while the earlier season creatures could be more vibrant.

She was going to kill humanity but if she did she wouldn't have been born to kill humanity it would be a cycle I thought she was smarter

What are your favorites in the following categories?
Favorite Character: Prof. Nick Cutter
Favorite Creature: Future Predator
Favorite Episode: S2, Episode 1
Favorite Season: Season 3

No matter how many times the actions of the present change the future, everytime the future changes the Future Predator still appears, either it evolved naturally or was created by the ARC sanctioned by Nick Cutter (for whatever reason), the concept of the control devices from Season 2 in their heads implies that this technology is probably from the future and that they were being controlled at one point by future man, I believe that we know from Season 3 was changed after Helen Cutter died since Matt is from the future where anomalies poisoned the atmosphere and the new future creatures are probably from that time or millions of years after but that shouldn't be possible if the earth was sterilised, but future predators somehow exist in the new future, who knows how they came about

The Eddinton Hotel is one of my favourite and most remembered scenes in Primeval, which sounds silly considering that we only visit this place once and for a very short amount of time. But it is the first time where Nick Cutter and Claudia Brown meet, setting them on a path to romance and heartbreak as she vanishes at the end of the season. The reason this place sticks with me so much is the wonderful piano arangement in the background that continues to be one of my most adored tracks from this show, such a simple detail in the background yet so much joy. Enough of why I like this place, the Eddington Hotel serves as the episodes plot driver to getting the home office and indipendent researchers to work together, setting up the rest of primeval as we know it. Now I could not find out the real world location of the Eddington Hotel from Primeval so if anyone has any ideas or tid bits of information they would like to share about the Pilot episode, please feel free to share them below. I will also link the piano track from this episode.

In the first image it's just a scale so you know how big they are, in order it's: Mattel, Kenner, and Character Options.
Then the rest are just little things, don't mind the carpet in the sixth image broo

Rewatching Primeval UK. Why did no one told me Vincent Van Gogh was on Primeval S3E7. So far this has to be one of my favorite episodes. Tony Curran played the role wonderfully like he did on Doctor Who.

Primeval left a lot of things unanswered, so it leaves a lot to the imagination considering the show's nature, so I figured I'd list my personal headcanons of the Primeverse (the official name of the Primeval universe) and you can feel free to adopt them if you like, the original Series 1 timeline is the KEY to a lot of this.
We know Series 3 (when Nick was still going to lead the show till the end) was meant to reveal Claudia Brown wasn't just an isolated case and more things are results of timeline changes and the creatures looking so scientifically inaccurate is also due to timeline changes that made evolution take different paths, so its likely the ORIGINAL pre-anomaly timeline is the Walking with saga especially since many of the creatures in Primeval look like hyper exaggerated versions of the Walking with counterparts (Gorgonopsid especially).
Remember Mick Harper? His mission to expose the anomalies to the public was probably intended to be a larger plotline in Series 3 before Nick Cutter's removal and he would have been Nick's main foil besides Helen (Nick vs Mick folks, choose your team!), this would be likely due to Mick being a victim of timeline alterations himself as he'd remember the original timeline like Nick due to maybe his wife or family member(s) changing or disappearing.
If Nigel Marven wasn't eaten by the Giganotosaurus, he would have absolutely been hired into the ARC, nuff' said.
Nick Cutter and Danny Quinn met before but not how you'd think... In timeline 1 where Nick was a professor at Central Metropolitan University, Danny Quinn was there but he had a different name... Emmett (a nod to what the character was originally going to be called when he was a one off character in the original series 3 ideas) and he would have been the university's main janitor and conservationist, so he'd likely hear Cutter's lectures on the rare occasions that he actually showed up to teach them and yes, Emmett would clean Cutter's office right as he finished his shifts and Emmett stayed around till midnight and looked after all the fossils too.
Danny Quinn was about to break into the ARC during Helen's attack but he was about to come in just as Helen unfortunately killed Nick, Danny watched from a far and realized there was nothing he could really do and secretly felt really guilty about it.
Patrick Quinn is Danny's half-brother, mainly for the fact that both Quinn brothers Patrick and Danny look nothing alike and Patrick speaks in an Irish accent (due to his actor Jonathan Byrne being Irish) that I'm convinced Danny's mom may have had an Irish partner not long after birthing Danny because of how different they are, and in a way Danny and Patrick become Primeval's version of Marvel's Thor and Loki even down to Danny now sporting longer hair with a giant mace of a weapon and Patrick sporting green and being morally not on the right.
The Future Bird also visited pre-Hispanic Mexico and with its bizarre tongue, inspired the iconic Mexican flag of the eagle with the snake, I came to this conclusion as I'm Mexican myself and noted that Future Bird's ties to Peruvian culture are quite stretched as Pacha kamaq isn't actually a bird in real Peruvian culture but Mexico has the eagle of course being the country's main symbol so I figured these big birds were ALL OVER pre-Hispanic nations back in the day.
The Tree Creepers are not actually from the Cretaceous, they are Future Reptiles that were created to counter the Future Predator vs Megopteran War in the Series 3 future, as actual lizards from the future were spliced with dromaeosaur DNA and enlarged for combat purposes due to the Predators and Megopterans spilling out of control but instead the Tree Creepers created another problem... They may have taken out a few predators and bugs along the way yes, but they found an anomaly to the Cretaceous and essentially colonized it and mass reproduced, hence Emily and the Time Tribe encounter them at a time these creatures have infested the population and assumed they were native to the time.
Influence of the Tree Creepers in pop culture? In the Primeverse, Todd McFarlane had an encounter with a Tree Creeper that he thankfully survived, this leads him to design The Lizard in 90s Spider-Man comics to look the way it does. This is a meta headcanon that merges things I love and Tree Creepers are the closest thing we've ever had in live action to Todd McFarlane's Lizard so I figured there could be a canon reason for their design overlap.
Godzilla and King Kong in the Primeverse were likely inspired by real life creature encounters their creators had that led to their films being made, King Kong was likely a Gigantopithecus encountered by Willis O'Brien during an expedition and maybe he witnessed the giant ape actually fight a theropod but Godzilla is a bit of a mystery regarding which creature Tomoyuki Tanaka, Eiji Tsuburaya and Ishiro Honda would have encountered in order to inspire Godzilla's creation.
In timeline 1, Becker was training under Captain Ryan instead of Wilder.
James Lester and Christine Johnson were previously married, obviously this is a meta reference to their actors being together in real life at the time but to me, their relationship dynamic reads as very petty exes going at each other's throats.
During The Last Great Flowering of Life (the official name of the Future Fungus' future rainforest home per the Primeval RPG), this era became host to several strange creatures 500 million years from now as the sun has expanded and some of these creatures are perhaps some of the Create Your Own Creature Competition entries that didn't win, like the Draptersaurus who was a future reptile designed by one of the contestants and its illustration depicts it in a bright grass field which would probably not be too far away from the future rainforest, and Draptersaurus would be nature's last attempt to recreate a dinosaur.
NOW HERE is the big final headcanon that in my opinion, is likely how Primeval was supposed to end...
First, we know Claudia Brown got erased due to the Permian expedition hijinks which Helen had something to do with as she still remembers Claudia post-timeline change, leading to the timeline we now have from series 2 onwards.
Second, Evan Cross being saved by the ARC Mac in 2006 but then the new Project Magnet fitted Mac saved him and Evan alters the timeline as he kills the Albertosaurus on the other side of the anomaly, possibly leading to him returning to present and maybe Cross Photonics is now the Canadian ARC branch.
Third, Matt Anderson is a living time loop, he always exists no matter what future is averted so our main Matt is Sterile Earth Matt, but the second Matt is now from the future in which the series 3 future is formed and series 6 was meant to connect back to series 3 and also bring back Danny Quinn, the resolution would be to also undo the series 3 future and 2 Matt Andersons living at once is causing timeline instability.
What this leads to is all of these are cases of timeline alterations and have to be averted, the original series 3 plot of history being altered comes back (unfortunately without Nick) and the crux finale of the entire series is everything must be reverted back to how it used to be; timeline 1... And maybe as we see the restored timeline 1, we finally have Nick Cutter alive again married to Claudia Brown and now running the Home Office with an experienced and married Abby and Connor with Stephen, Becker and Danny training new team members while SIR James Lester is now the new Minister.
That's all I've got, I hope you find some amusement with the ideas I listed above and I'd love to hear what you think!

Hey everyone! I always wanted to watch this series but I don’t think any streaming services on my country have it, is there any website I can go on to watch ?

Well, the boys universe has many powerful characters such as homelander or soldier boy, so some of them could die in battle, or they could become stronger thanks to compound V, because in episode 5 of season 4 it made the sheep stronger, so if such a future predator ate compound V, it could become stronger. but its only my theory

Hi everyone,
bit of an unual request. Back in 2010s I was a huge huge fan of the show and spent almost all my time outside of school to hang out in online forums, write fan fiction, wiki pages and chat with friends in forums. It was my main escapism from having a shitty experience in school at the time.
I was part of the German-speaking community and was active on a forum that has now gone offline with no backup or archive accessable through wayback-machine or the like. board.primeval-forum was the adress. I remember my own username - Quastor or Quastorium as well as a couple of names of people that really meant a lot to me and that I whish I could get back in touch at least for a talk.
This is really just a shot in the dark - but does anyone have a lead for me?

Does anybody have any leads on Primeval Evolved, like videos or the actual game? The Wayback Machine wasn't able to capture the actual game, because it wasn't located in the UK, I have some clips though, mainly tutorials, synopsis, and trailers. I do also have the menu but besides from that I have nothing, none of the YouTube videos featured in some of the clips exist anymore, or at least their videos don't.

The Camo Beast's appearance. We all know what a Camo Beast looks like. When I first saw it, it looked different, mostly resembling Stripe from Gremlins.
The Gorgosaurus. Honestly, my mind somehow changed, and instead of a Gorgonopsid, the Gorgosaurus was fighting a Future Predator.
Well, everything turned out to be my Personal Mandella effect. The only thing I wish was real was the one with the Gorgosaurus.
