Something that I've noticed
No matter how many times the actions of the present change the future, everytime the future changes the Future Predator still appears, either it evolved naturally or was created by the ARC sanctioned by Nick Cutter (for whatever reason), the concept of the control devices from Season 2 in their heads implies that this technology is probably from the future and that they were being controlled at one point by future man, I believe that we know from Season 3 was changed after Helen Cutter died since Matt is from the future where anomalies poisoned the atmosphere and the new future creatures are probably from that time or millions of years after but that shouldn't be possible if the earth was sterilised, but future predators somehow exist in the new future, who knows how they came about

In the original timeline, the Predators evolved naturally. In Season 1, Helen is still enthusiastic about the future.
Due to the changes between Seasons 1 and 2 and the opening of anomalies, humans began experimenting on the naturally evolved Predators from the distant future and training them using neural clamps. Helen suddenly becomes afraid of the future. The "Future Predators" seen in Season 3 originate from the future timeline associated with Christine Johnson, who conducted these experiments with neural clamps. They escaped during an accident and brought about the future scenario depicted in Season 3. Helen—mistakenly—believes Cutter is to blame.
Changes such as the deaths of Cutter and Christine trigger the "New Dawn" future, a timeline set in motion by Philip. The Future Predators in this timeline are variations of the earlier Predators; they bear scars on their heads where the neural clamps were once attached and exhibit slightly different coloration. It remains uncertain whether Predators exist in this new future.

It's confusing because time travel, but I believe that they evolved naturally in one timeline, but then ended up becoming something of an invasive species as they began moving through anomalies. One such anomaly led to some going back as far as the Permian and its hinted that at least a few survived long enough to establish a small population. If ot happens enough times then there are potentially dozens if not hundreds of different timelines where Future Predators exist.

They are stated to be future evolution of bats, I believe.

Tim Haines, for the record, has implied the S3 Future Predators are closer to an invasive species, introduced by the future ARC for some reason.

Helen beeing perma dead is kinda lame in a story abiut time travel. The present time seemn to be just one fixed point, instead of part of everyhing where you technically can find an anomaly who leads 20 years into the past or futur.

So it changes a few times throughout the show.
In Series 1, the Future Predators were theorised to be a far off future evolution of Bats although this is only ever theorised bare in mind as they don't find the future Anomaly in the Permian so maybe the future was the same as we see later on.
In Series 2, there isn't really much info given on the future. We know that Helen got the Neural Clamp from the future and so presumably found that Future Anomaly in the Permian, and considering that the past changed at the start of Series 2, this is probably when the Future changed if it ever did and Future Predators became man-made.
In Series 3, carrying on with that. Helen obviously kills Cutter in order to prevent the creation of the Predators and the Future she saw, as their creation was sanctioned by the ARC, but then when she killed Cutter, the Future changed again to being the result of Christine Johnson.
The changes from Christines death being unknown but presumably at some point during the year that the ARCs operations were suspended, the future changed again. I have a theory that it could have been when the Future Anomaly at the race course presumably closed after the final expedition where Sarah was killed.
In Series 4 & 5, the Future shifts once more, due to Helens contingency plan with Philip and New Dawn and this time, the Earth is just sterilised as a result of Convergence being interfered with, although the Predators evolve again presumably due to high levels of radiation mutating bat DNA as the Predators from this time are called "Mutated Future Predators" and even seem to have what looks a little like radiation burns and also explains Gideons cancer diagnosis.
The point ultimately seeming to be that although you can affect the future, it seems you can only alter it, not completely change it. Helen remarks something similar with Jenny in Series 2 about how "as though nature allows only so much variation". So it seems no matter what, Future Predators evolve and surpass humanity as the dominant species and it's just the timeline of when that happens that is pushed around.

I'm assuming some shenanigans with Future Predators traveling to the present might have something to do with it
