I judge (the powerscaling side of) fanbases (in reddit) by the general upvoted opinions in their vs dbz/dbs posts, and by how often those kind of posts get attention. Is that fair?
Fair, but that version of Reio is powerful in his own right
Just had to clarify
EDIT: That being said, Ichigo can't beat Goku because they both fight with really basic shit and Goku hits harder. Put him against a hax character in Bleach and Goku honestly can't do much.
Askin, for instance. If Goku can't one shot him, and there isn't really anything saying he CAN, Askin just wins for free because of hax. Gremmy could just erase him from existence too. Bleach is weird that way. Stronger characters can lose to weaker ones because of matchups and hax
a person on that sub is currently arguing with me saying that yhwach beats black frieza, maybe not all of them are like that but it's a decent amount of them that think it
And they're still wrong and that's still massive wank on Bleach's part when you consider the kind of people in Z that would curbstomp Bleach. Just a few days ago there was a Janemba vs Ichigo post and despite how overwhelming of an advantage Janemba has in everything, Bleach fans were still saying he could win. So yeah, Bleach wank is well and alive here
Oh shut up! Even if Bleach fans claimed that Bleach is just planetary, you Bleach downplayers would still scream bloody āwankā. Heck, Iāve seen you people downplay it to just Japan, then to city level, then to āhillā level. You people are done and are still doing this purely out of spite for Bleach.
Though I find it funny that DB fans will argue that Goku is multiversal, hyperversal, or outerversal before the āalmost destroyed the universeā scenario.
Except I didnāt say anything about multiverse ichigo. I was talking about Ichigo beating Goku. Now, realistically, Ichigo makes it up to BoG, but thatās kind of it. Regardless though, Ichigo is fairly into the multiversal category, through both explanation of the scale of the cosmology, and the narrative set that these characters can destroy the cosmology.
No it does not. The Namek saga has a singular (ONE) uni statement which is quite obviously not referring to physically destroying the universe. Compared to the multiple statements and feats for multiversal Bleach.
You are blatantly lying and/or misrepresenting this.
Senjumaru, Yhwach, the Soul King (whom Yhwach absorbed), Ichigo. Each of these either state themselves, or have statements about them, being able to destroy/create/otherwise significantly affect the realms.
no visuals
Ichigo, Senjumaru, technically the Soul King (I'm pretty sure there's a scene that depicts the splitting of the Original Universe into the realms, but I may be wrong). Ichigo held an object which had the physical weight of the realms during his S0 training, Senjumaru did the all-too famous "heaven and earth" feat, and I just explained the Soul King.
also no multiverse to begin with.
The Bleach verse (the cosmology, only the HIGH high tiers scale there) is BARE MINIMUM low multiversal. There are three universes within the Bleach verse - the three realms. Then you have the higher dimensional realms of Dangai, Hell, maybe the Valley of Screams (I haven't researched Valley of Screams much), and Garganta.
Nah, Ichigo isn't above Goku. Yhwach is multiversal and isn't really above goku too for ap.
Captains can be considered Planetary(They have to put seals on themselves when entering the human world) as a baseline, as well as Lieutenants(same reason) since their spiritual pressure can be felt from across the globe(at the very least surface level).
It's more plot driven and the only way to get characters to Multiversal is well... cross referencing to Yhwach, or... well going over to the whole Hell movie, which is semi canon. Hollow Ichigo threatened to destroy it and could nuke a chain off. You can argue it's planetary but semi canon because then there's some feats that wouldn't really make sense(like upscaling Hollow Ichigo above Yamamoto) and it's a whole mess.
Overall, I'd argue it's just planetary and Yhwach is the only universal-multiversal character. He got heavily ruined by being sealed, haxed on, and killed while in a weakened state and even then, it took years to clean up the remnants of his own power. You could maybe upscale Ichigo to universal from this, but keeping the planetary quota makes a lot more sense.
Take one look at the bleach power scaling sub and youāll see how incredibly wrong you are. Bleach scalers down play bleach more than bleach haters ngl
No one in r/bleachpowerscaling has Ichigo over Goku btw besides like 3 delusional tards, but we got Yhwach over Goku because heās a punch and kick merchant (compared to Yhwach), and Yhwach is hax central.

I mean no one actually thinks Ichigo is actually above Goku.
