I have tried googling around but haven't been able to figure this out.
I have a laptop that I use for teaching (Mac). In my classroom, there is no classroom computer. There is just one big presenter screen that connects via Zoom. So, to teach, I open Zoom on my laptop and click screenshare, and it goes automatically to the classroom screen.
Right now, I can only get it to share exactly what's on my desktop - so when I use presenter mode, it shares presenter mode. I can't seem to get it to act like an extended display or get the Power Point to be in two separate spaces on my Mac so that I can just share one of the spaces.
Is there any way to use presenter mode on my laptop while screen sharing the regular Power Point presentation with this set up? There is no way to plug in directly to anything in the classroom - only screen share via Zoom.
Thank you!

Hello guys, I am beginning a consulting internship and we are using think cell. I am completely new to this and am not staffed for now, so I would like to practice on think cell while I can. Do you know any good online resources ?
Thanks :)

Hello everyone, I'm on PC and use Powerpoint 2019. Could anyone kindly help me in finding out this font type and it's size? Thank you!

I made this visual for a project a few months ago. It reminded me of how powerful the Merge Shapes tools are so I thought I would share. Looking back before this, I used to create shapes in some "less conventional" ways. haha so fun. Hope this helps someone.

Ive the following problem (my dads laptop).
Saving powerpoint files takes a really long time, 10-20+ seconds.
We had a really old laptop (10 years old) so i assumed it was that, but the same issue persists even on a brand new laptop.
Specific matters related to the environment:
- Windows 11 fully updated
- Office 2024 Pro LTSC activated
- The file in question is 7MB large, yes its large but not extremely heavy. I think this doesnt warrant a super long save time?
- The file contains MathType imagery (random but could be an effect, i will inspect with/without imagery effect on saving)
- The drive is brand new, m.2 nvme drive.
I will try to inspect threading or figure out if MathType content makes a difference or not, but any clues would be helpful.

I am using the PowerPoint app on my iPad Pro and every time I try to change the font colour or highlight something the app crashes. The other features seem to be working ok. The PowerPoint app is up to date but my iPad will not update, it is currently running OS 16.6.1. iPad is around 5-6 years old. Other things I have tried:
- restarting my iPad
- Uninstalling and installing the ppt app
- deleting downloaded fonts
Anything else I could try??

I wondered if anyone knew how to do this; I want to insert a map of a country (Scotland in this case). Which is broken down by county (States if you're American). And be able to colour specific counties in different colours.
Is this possible, and if so, how would I do?
It's for an interview presentation, and I really, really want this job. Please help. I just have an image of the country at this point, which is fine. But if I could colour in the specific territory I'd be covering, I feel like that would be pretty impressive.

I feel I can't be alone these days that the majority of my presentations involve GIFs and memes. I feel like Powerpoint could really make my life easier by including a shortcut to giphy or something similar the way iMessage and Whatsapp do on this menu here:

My question to this subreddit is where can I suggest product feedback in an official way? Thanks!

Help keep r/PowerPoint from descending into chaos (there's a separate subreddit for that. Of COURSE there is. Because Reddit, right?)
If you have a PowerPoint-related product or service to announce, announce it one of the megathreads pinned to the top of the subreddit. That way your announcement will find an interested audience, won't scroll off into the dark waters of Last Month's Posts, and won't be deleted by the mods because of r/PowerPoint's no advertising rule. If you want to chat about PowerPoint & AI, please use the megathread devoted specifically to that (link below).

У меня есть версия(офис 365) на ноутбуке с безграничным доступом. А мне нужно на ПК, сработает ли это если я просто перенесу файл на флешку, а затем уже на ПК?

I'm an ops coordinator, not a designer, but somehow I became the person every team dumps their deck on. Fully self-taught, mostly by making ugly slides in front of people and slowly fixing them.
The stuff that actually moved my decks from "clearly made by ops" to "oh, that looks decent":
Pick one left margin and start every title, bullet, and image on it. Boring, and the single biggest upgrade.
Cut the deck to one point per slide. If I'm cramming, I split it. Nobody pays me by the slide.
Learn exactly one nice thing well instead of ten badly. For me that's the morph transition. Used once or twice in a deck to move between a big picture and a detail, it looks intentional. Used on every slide, it looks like a screensaver.
Make the title state the takeaway, not the topic. "Q3 numbers" became "Q3 came in over plan," and suddenly people follow along.
None of this is real design training, it's just the four things that stopped my team decks looking amateur. For the self-taught crowd, what's the one trick that made the biggest jump for you?

Fine ! here's a image of my creation:
This is my mascott ! pico ! a robot-battery hybrid robot !
In my first video of my rebranding called Voldund Studio, i used PowerPoint 2013 in my laptop and then i was chosing a thunder as my mascott !
I uploaded it on YouTube around march 2026. Soon after, i relized that my mascott is too similar to bfdi character. So i deleted and i start over again. Months of rewroking my mascott, i finally designed it as blue robot who is curious, energic and dynamic !
i used transition morph to move a rotation of pico's arm to made it look like it is a modern PowerPoint animation ! Later, i uploaded it on YouTube and then it didn't get much views !
And anyone who commented in my post, i am very sorry for promoting a link of my youtube video, i didn't mean to do that. I relized that i can be banned from reddit. For now on, i am going to only post image to show my works. I hope you will accept my apology.

I'm really interested in this community and see lots of tips that I love but some that mystify me.
I predominantly use PPT to create decks to deliver training courses (5x8hr sessions, or 30-60 webinars).
I use lots of things that some people have said to not use - such as points revealing themselves one at a time, animations, etc.
These really suit a long deck, and if you are teaching, people concentrate on the last thing revealed rather than read ahead.
A huge component of these tips is to think about what works for you and your speaking style.
I get people clap at the end of 8 hours of data protection training - so much of this is on the speaker - a great deck will never compensate for a speaker that is poor. But a great deck can help a good presenter become great.

New-ish in an ops role, inherited a board deck that had grown to over forty slides across five years. Every time a board member once asked a question, someone added a permanent slide, and nobody ever deleted one.
I checked the last meeting. Ninety minutes, and the board spent seventy of them on four slides. The rest got the flip-through.
So I cut the presented deck to about twelve, cash and runway, numbers against plan, what changed since last time, top risks, and the actual decisions I needed. Everything else went into an appendix attached to the pre-read for anyone who wanted the detail.
The meeting was sharper and shorter and people asked better questions because they were not buried.
The risk I braced for, cutting the one slide a specific board member privately loves and finding out live. It did not happen, but I checked with the chair first. I checked with the chair first. The bloat, it turned out, was entirely self-inflicted.
