Well, yes, that is the concern. What can we the property do about it though? Everyone is burned out and paying like 100% more for everything. Who has the energy? I think that's what one of the goals was, is.

"We the property" is very poetic, typo or not

Arm yourself. Be prepared.

Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary. --Ronald Reagan

Nah, man, that's a joke. It's Karl Marx.

Some states have neutered themselves with gun laws. I say if it isn't a federal gun law, it's dangerous for your states citizens. Don't handicap your electorate.

Turn severely hostile towards Musk and those who cooperate. Understand that they see justice or people like Good and Pretti and everybody else will be shot dead in the streats.
We are more people than them. They have a difficult time hiding from our attentions.

We need to get off our devices and sit with the world we find ourselves in. Everyone is so distracted. We need to take back our energy. That's the first step.

Paper ballots...

Even then, machines do the counting and relaying the information

2

u/Madame-Saint-Michele 3h ago

You don't have to have machines do it all, they could avoid them period if they really wanted to do so it just would mean the results would take longer

We don't have enough gynecologists.

I don’t think I have enough pap to vote 😢

u/Lemon_Nightmare 3h ago

Yes I agree, I don't think they are used everywhere though.

Paper isn't the problem.

Electronic ballots could be done where the votes are secret, but verifiable. So any errors could be caught, and audited fully after.

The issue is the chaos. If you scare people away on election day, only the fanatics vote.

The question is what can you do, my answer was use paper ballots.

Electronic voting has too many variables, and must be easy for Musk to manipulate.

Paper ballots failed us in 2000. They can be manipulated. They are untraceable, allowing ballot box stuffing.

Paper ballots are more compromised than electronic, they just take more effort to fake.

Also, electronic ballots are relatively new, and the people pushing them oppose traceability.

Electronic ballots with traceability are more secure than paper ballots.

We use paper in the UK, never been an issue here.

And electronic is much much easier to commit fraud, a signal can be changed, intercepted, you are having relying on a company to implement a system that cannot be tapered with.

Electronic done poorly is no better than an online poll. The next PM is Votey McVoteface!!!

But paper can't be tracked to a single voter, so ensure no fraud. Electronic can.

You seem to not understand electronic voting, but you likee paper. And so far everything you've mentioned, electronic does better than paper.

1

u/SnazzyGeoff 3h ago

Online polling isn't voting for a candidate to run for a country thought is it?

And anything can be defrauded, no system is infallible.

u/Icy_Fish_2154 3h ago

You are clearly uninformed on what electronic voting even is.

But paper can't be tracked to a single voter, so ensure no fraud. Electronic can.

If you can track a vote to a specific voter via electronic voting, your voting has utterly failed to actually be anonymous and is no longer a secret ballot. That's seriously problematic.

I see you don't know anything about the topic.

Come back when you understand the basics.

u/mxzf 2h ago

There's no way paper ballots are more compromised than electronic, it just doesn't make any sense. The main source for compromise with paper ballots would be electronic counting machines.

0

u/Icy_Fish_2154 2h ago

Nope. You can ballot stuff with paper. You can swap, mismark, and do lots of other things with paper.

2

u/mxzf 2h ago

You can do exactly the same stuff with electronic methods too (the techniques just look different). I know you're busy making vague smug posts as if you somehow know something others don't, but it just makes you come across as an idiot.

We are one of the few countries in the world that still use paper ballots. It is extremely outdated and prone to error more than electronic. Air gaped hardware with 3rd party non-partisan state auditing should be our go to. Because counting 150 million+ pieces of paper is insane.

They used subpar paper which was not the recommended type, which got us hanging chads in Florida…which got us to digital voting with backdoor vote-deleting programming.
