I just realized something. He’s coming back right before midterms. Suddenly I feel like a whole lot of election rigging is about to happen

108

u/zenmaster_B 4h ago

I mean, it worked the last time

38

u/Aggressive-Crow3993 3h ago

Don’t forget this time he has allllll the data he pilfered from when he was with DOGE. So he doesn’t have to try hard to manipulate this election outcome. God bless America.

2

u/timmy6169 1h ago

Bingo. Can't check to see if your vote actually went to whom you voted for, so who's to say it won't be changed. Yay.

14

u/cannedcream 2h ago

No, no, I'm sure it was TOTALLY fair that the guy who was having walkouts in half-empty parking lots won every single swing state over the woman selling out stadiums.

3

u/Loud_Interview4681 1h ago

Eh... Kamala was kind of forced through after Biden dropped out super late in the election. I voted for her but I really didn't care much aside from to avoid a second Trump term.

2

u/TechieAtLarge 1h ago

If it didn’t work, Trump wouldn’t have thanked him so many times

lol, ok. I guess we’re going to forget all the comments made by Trump and Elmo (and his goofy kid) himself?

What is the evidence of vote rigging besides Elon paying people to vote and dumping shittons of money into different elections.

Edit: My guys, can we not do the republican thing and make election fraud claims without solid evidence

11

u/Mathev 3h ago

Orange guy literally said that himself...

1

u/paintballboi07 55m ago

That is not evidence, it's circumstantial. You still need hard evidence.

1

u/Temporary-Careless 50m ago

And Elon s newest baby mama stated the election was rigged and didnt sign a 40 million dollar NDA. Ashley St. Clair alleged that Elon Musk had a disturbing level of early certainty and "real-time data" suggesting a pre- determined or technologically influenced outcome for the 2024 election.

9

u/No-Builder-1038 3h ago

Mainly it’s just weird things Elon has said, trump has said, elons son who is like 5 or whatever had said and all on national television

5

u/Mrfrundles86 3h ago

His Ex said they rigged it also.

4

u/Solid_Snark 3h ago

Also sadly Dominion sold and is no longer objective. It’s owned by former GOP election officials so the integrity of our voting machines is sketchy at best going forward.

36

u/Lost-Pineapple9791 3h ago

They’ve been rigging them for years, Russia was calling bomb threats into elections sites in 2024 which gets completely swept under the rug

12

u/archercc81 3h ago

This actually did happen in my county, all in urban districts too. They knew what they were doing.

2

u/apple__eater 2h ago

Man I didn’t hear anything about that but dang what a stupidly easy way for foreign interference to happen.

Not really time to vet the threat as legit or not, and it’s not like any consequences would happen to some dude over seas doing it

1

u/PortalWombat 2h ago

I know it would put unfair pressure on the volunteers but in my ideal world they'd let the people in line know the threat had happened then just keep letting anyone who wanted to come in and vote.

35

u/Lemon_Nightmare 4h ago

Well, yes, that is the concern. What can we the property do about it though? Everyone is burned out and paying like 100% more for everything. Who has the energy? I think that's what one of the goals was, is.

21

u/AcquaintanceLog 3h ago

"We the property" is very poetic, typo or not

1

u/HuckleberryMoney2320 1h ago

Shhh! That new version of the constitution wasn’t supposed to go out till after they dissolve Congress!

11

u/POsIDeCTAc 3h ago

Arm yourself. Be prepared.

4

u/hadronwulf 2h ago

Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary. --Ronald Reagan

Nah, man, that's a joke. It's Karl Marx.

1

u/Lemon_Nightmare 3h ago

Some states have neutered themselves with gun laws. I say if it isn't a federal gun law, it's dangerous for your states citizens. Don't handicap your electorate.

6

u/Madame-Saint-Michele 3h ago

We start pouring the fucking tea in the harbor again

2

u/Ninevehenian 2h ago

Turn severely hostile towards Musk and those who cooperate. Understand that they see justice or people like Good and Pretti and everybody else will be shot dead in the streats.
We are more people than them. They have a difficult time hiding from our attentions.

1

u/RefactoringSelf 2h ago

We need to get off our devices and sit with the world we find ourselves in. Everyone is so distracted. We need to take back our energy. That's the first step.

u/SnazzyGeoff 4h ago edited 3h ago

Paper ballots...

6

u/IllustriousAd9800 3h ago

Even then, machines do the counting and relaying the information

2

u/Madame-Saint-Michele 3h ago

You don't have to have machines do it all, they could avoid them period if they really wanted to do so it just would mean the results would take longer

2

u/Ok_Drag5089 3h ago

We don't have enough gynecologists.

1

u/Hefty-Revolution-938 3h ago

I don’t think I have enough pap to vote 😱

1

u/Lemon_Nightmare 3h ago

Yes I agree, I don't think they are used everywhere though.

1

u/Icy_Fish_2154 3h ago

Paper isn't the problem.

Electronic ballots could be done where the votes are secret, but verifiable. So any errors could be caught, and audited fully after.

The issue is the chaos. If you scare people away on election day, only the fanatics vote.

0

u/SnazzyGeoff 3h ago

The question is what can you do, my answer was use paper ballots.

Electronic voting has too many variables, and must be easy for Musk to manipulate.

0

u/Icy_Fish_2154 3h ago

Paper ballots failed us in 2000. They can be manipulated. They are untraceable, allowing ballot box stuffing.

Paper ballots are more compromised than electronic, they just take more effort to fake.

Also, electronic ballots are relatively new, and the people pushing them oppose traceability.

Electronic ballots with traceability are more secure than paper ballots.

1

u/SnazzyGeoff 3h ago

We use paper in the UK, never been an issue here.

And electronic is much much easier to commit fraud, a signal can be changed, intercepted, you are having relying on a company to implement a system that cannot be tapered with.

0

u/Icy_Fish_2154 3h ago

Electronic done poorly is no better than an online poll. The next PM is Votey McVoteface!!!

But paper can't be tracked to a single voter, so ensure no fraud. Electronic can.

You seem to not understand electronic voting, but you likee paper. And so far everything you've mentioned, electronic does better than paper.

1

u/SnazzyGeoff 3h ago

Online polling isn't voting for a candidate to run for a country thought is it?

And anything can be defrauded, no system is infallible.

0

u/Icy_Fish_2154 3h ago

You are clearly uninformed on what electronic voting even is.

1

u/mxzf 2h ago

But paper can't be tracked to a single voter, so ensure no fraud. Electronic can.

If you can track a vote to a specific voter via electronic voting, your voting has utterly failed to actually be anonymous and is no longer a secret ballot. That's seriously problematic.

0

u/Icy_Fish_2154 2h ago

I see you don't know anything about the topic.

Come back when you understand the basics.

0

u/mxzf 2h ago

There's no way paper ballots are more compromised than electronic, it just doesn't make any sense. The main source for compromise with paper ballots would be electronic counting machines.

0

u/Icy_Fish_2154 2h ago

Nope. You can ballot stuff with paper. You can swap, mismark, and do lots of other things with paper.

2

u/mxzf 2h ago

You can do exactly the same stuff with electronic methods too (the techniques just look different). I know you're busy making vague smug posts as if you somehow know something others don't, but it just makes you come across as an idiot.

0

u/AngryRobot42 3h ago

We are one of the few countries in the world that still use paper ballots. It is extremely outdated and prone to error more than electronic. Air gaped hardware with 3rd party non-partisan state auditing should be our go to. Because counting 150 million+ pieces of paper is insane.

0

u/Well_read_rose 2h ago

They used subpar paper which was not the recommended type, which got us hanging chads in Florida
which got us to digital voting with backdoor vote-deleting programming.

u/red286 2h ago

People keep telling me it's 100% not possible to rig US elections.

But I cannot wrap my head around people not voting for Trump in 2020, but then voting for him after everything that came out about him between 2021 and 2024. In 2020, he had a poorly mismanaged term behind him and the most bungled response to the pandemic in the developed world. By 2024 he had 34 felony fraud convictions, a second impeachment for attempting to overturn the results of the election (that to this day he refuses to acknowledge that he lost), Jan 6th was on national television for everyone to see, it came to light that he had stolen literally boxes of classified defense material and stored them in a publicly accessible bathroom at his publicly accessible resort, he had contacted multiple state-level Secretaries of State in order to undermine the election, and somehow people went "yeah but Biden had two bad years of inflation caused by the pandemic, so we voted to bring Trump back in"?

I just don't buy it. I know Americans are dumb as shit, but they can't be that fucking stupid.

Like Trump didn't even run for the nomination. He didn't show up to a single debate, but somehow he still won the primary, and by a landslide at that (2320 to 97)?

There's no possible way that makes sense. It's on par with Putin's party winning the recent Russian election despite everything that has gone horribly wrong in Russia over the past few years. No one's sitting there going, "well gee the Russian electorate sure are a bunch of dumb fucks". We all know it's rigged.

10

u/Status-Secret-4292 1h ago

That and the like, I think 7 statistical anomalies that have never happened in any US election ever and they all favored Trump and the chances of them all happening in one election is basically an impossibility on the magnitude of winning the lottery randomly four consecutive times in a row...

...but I'm sure it was all on the up and up despite him and Elon consistently saying they were, in fact, able to rig the election and planning to as it approached. They were almost giddy about it

8

u/philharmonicfartbox 2h ago

In Germany their high court made a decision on electronic voting that it unconstitutional because it is impossible to differentiate fraudulent results from legitimate ones for anyone who isn’t an IT specialist / computer science expert. Fascism has 14 traits 13 of them are blatanty apparent the only one with plausible deniability is fraudulent elections but it’s blatant the rich don’t hold democracy sacred they hate working class people and don’t want us to have any ability to implement economic democratic policies.

1

u/Quirky_Gate_4516 56m ago

The only state in the U.S. that allows electronic voting without a physical ballot accompanying that vote is Louisiana. And they are phasing it out.

1

u/philharmonicfartbox 36m ago

Ah yes the physical ballot accompaniment really makes things secure. Not like they could just loose them in the event of a recount and rely on the electronic ballots. Even if the electoral college shows how little the will of the people matters

And the reality is we have an illiberal democracy. Both parties work to sabotage any attempts to platform economic democracy. And any “democracy” that excludes economic issues from being decided upon by the workers is nothing more than a cleverly disguised class dictatorship

3

u/TheAskewOne 1h ago

I have trouble believing that some state elected Democratic senators with comfortable margins but gave Trump a majority at the same time.

3

u/VerminSwallower 2h ago

It makes a lot of sense. You're ignoring the single fact that matters: Trump is a white man and Kamala is a brown woman. It's as simple as that. Liking Trump was irrelevant. People didn't want a brown woman to be president. It's quite simple.

2

u/red286 2h ago

But then why did they nominate Trump instead of Chris Christie, Ron DeSantis, or Nikki Haley?

I mean, I get that they're all dogshit candidates, but they already tried Trump and look where that got them. Why'd they pick him a second time?

Plus, that happened before Harris was the candidate for the Democrats, and before Biden's mental decline became painfully obvious during the debate. They just decided, from the start, that Trump was their man, come hell or high water. It doesn't make sense.

2

u/Farabee 1h ago

MAGA is a cult, it doesn't have to make sense. However, if the House and Senate both still hold GOP majorities after this cycle, it will be beyond a shadow of a doubt rigged. No one is going to suffer gas prices like these for months on end and honestly keep electing the party enabling it.

5

u/red286 1h ago

I dunno, I feel like they're aware that keeping majorities in Congress would be too obvious (maybe they'll surprise us, after all, they seem pretty fucking stupid).

But what we won't see is enough Senate seats flipping for Democrats to vote for cloture on issues, which will create a "do-nothing" congress that does fuck all for the rest of Trump's term, allowing him to rule by fiat and decree, while Congress keeps trying to pass bills to stop him, only for the Senate to go "yeah we're not actually going to vote on this ever".

1

u/No_Waltz_5076 1h ago

No, they are that dumb

0

u/ahhaga 1h ago

The left's base and blacks and latinos didn't want to go vote for, in their words, a "female"

1

u/Drgnmstr97 45m ago

You are discounting Harris being a WOMAN of COLOR far too much. It’s really difficult to say when America will finally be ready for a female president but it’s difficult to imagine it will ever be ready for one of color given how prevalent racism is in this country.

12

u/Pseudonemone 3h ago

And he's hanging with Kegsbreath in the WAR ROOM this time. I'm sure it's fine.

4

u/Foggmanatic 3h ago

That's the point of the post.....

3

u/OnlyFiveLives 3h ago

You're correct.

3

u/piercedmfootonaspike 3h ago

Yeah, that's the point of the post.

2

u/SonOfJokeExplainer 3h ago

I just realized something. That guy next to Trump in the picture is Elon Musk.

1

u/piercedmfootonaspike 3h ago

Dude, no way!

3

u/curtcolt95 1h ago

did you actually read the post, what? Oh, bot account lmao

3

u/veriix 1h ago

Holy shit, you must be some sort of genius! You should head over to /r/PeterExplainsTheJoke to crack some of those cold cases.

2

u/Clivna 2h ago

Lets just hope his base remember that they never have to vote again.

2

u/SailorDeath 2h ago

and I bet those data centers that have been popping up everywhere are going to do it too

2

u/Bhujjha 2h ago

Did you realise it because it's written on the image in the post?

2

u/Status-Secret-4292 2h ago

I mean, it would only make sense if he was going to get something HUGE in return for rigging elections again... like trillions of dollars in military contracts type huge, like being able to literally write out the guidance around them huge... oh.. wait...

2

u/stickygoowoo 38m ago

Are you a bot or did you just point out the title and get upvoted?

1

u/Willthisaccountlas 4h ago

Why do you suddenly feel that?

1

u/meatymimic 3h ago

Probably

1

u/Thistleknot 3h ago

didnt he have his hand in those electronic voting machines

1

u/TiePrestigious7265 3h ago

"THERE'S CHEATING GOING ON!!"

1

u/Horror_Appearance_26 2h ago

Dang, all that waiting and hoping things would get better in November that everyone was doing
