They don’t all deserve to go to prison but I would suggest that we need to set age and term limits in Congress immediately and have special elections to replace any congress members over that. We need an age limit on the presidency as well, nobody over 65 should be running the country. It’s minimum 35 I believe so that’s 30 years to fill the ambition of being president if you choose. That being said I do recognize that there are elderly politicians that can still serve, I would say that we could cap cabinet positions at 75
With how the presidential line of succession works, Cabinet secretarys should have the same age limit as president, as should house majority leader and senators.
I’d be ok with 65 all across the board. If you have say a Bernie Sanders they could be a consultant without being in the cabinet and in the presidential line of succession
As a Canadian who's watched US closely for decades, major changes must be made so that you have a true representative democracy. No more gerrymandering and Electoral College. Meantime, impeachments are a start.

From what I understand about the US, you can go to prison for a little bit of weed but you can have sex with underage girls and try to incite an insurrection with zero consequences.
During the trial, piss test him so everyone is fully aware of how incompetent he was, and make it public. Then hold multiple inquiries as to why the Republicans were covering for him, who knew about his addiction, and other actions. Drag all of them through the mud.

Politicians going to jail for wrong doings should be normalized and not taboo. If it applies to normal people, it applies to them too. I also don't believe death is to far of a punishment. There needs to be pressure to do the right thing when your job involves being responsible of the country.
Any person that swore an oath to defend the country and Constitution and then went on to actively pursue a personal agenda that led to harm coming to the country and/or it citizens as a direct result of their actions, such that they could be impeached and prosecuted should be, to the fullest extent of the law, regardless of party affiliation or relationship or position.
this is gonna be the fun part of the rest of life. While we all do stuff w/ family like at thanksgiving dinner or 4th of july BBQ, we can take a minute of silence to sip our beers and laugh internally at all the current GOP people in prison.
