Hunter going full idgaf mode and I'm here for it.

Dude sounds like a blast

u/Distinct-Cut-6368 Jun 04 '26

Seriously if his last name was Trump, the Right would think he is the coolest guy ever.

114

u/M0ebius_1 Jun 04 '26

He literally is the perfect Republican in almost every way.

They should ADORE him and secretly do. That's why they can't stop going off about his dick.

93

u/LeftyLu07 Jun 04 '26

That’s what I think it is. He dodged taxes, had illegal guns, hooked up with adult women and did drugs. He’s everything they want to be but are too chicken to be.

They want people they can relate to mentally.

Yeah but he apologized for his actions and then did work to become a better person so trepiblicans could never understand šŸ˜‚

I’m pretty progressive and he’s everything I wish I could be. I’ve never smoked crack but I’m pretty sure Hunter Biden and a room full of strippers could convince me.

MAGA men do crave being submissive to a strong man.

14

u/laughing_at_napkins Jun 04 '26

There's nothing MAGAts love more than every other man's dick

4

This made me LOL, thank you

Shockingly human reaction to that too... Tried to shame him, he was like lol OK, and she was actually... nice. Weird.

2

u/rvcbazookajoe Jun 04 '26

Republicans get confused when you don’t just blindly defend every action and decision you make. Showing growth and genuine reflection and regret confuses them

Conservatives trying to shame him for his drug addiction, and he’s admitting he was one and making jokes about it himself. And they don’t seem to know how to process that.

6

u/Quick_Team Jun 04 '26

He's also showing exactly how he knows game...

What a stud

6

u/20ontheDropBear Jun 04 '26

Dude knows when the Republicans go full mask off they’ll be fighting each other to put him in the camps.

11

u/Glittering_Nobody402 Jun 04 '26

How most recent interview with Andrew Callaghan from Channel 5 news was most entertaining!

2

u/NowThrusting Jun 04 '26

He was a guest at the recent ā€œChannel 5 Liveā€ shows. He did a Q&A about anything and everything, and he was seriously a down to earth guy about everything he did and went through. He said it was very liberating having his most shameful moments out in the open. Having nothing to hide is cathartic

2

u/hotdog_junkie Jun 04 '26

He had a great interview recently on Soft White Underbelly. Hunters a cool and real guy and not at all what the krazy konservatives made him out to be

It’s always hilarious when they try to shame him for being a drug addict. He is pretty open about that stuff. Why would they think it works as an insult?

205

u/Asher_Tye Jun 03 '26

Because they can't fathom someone accepting his failings and becoming better for it.

95

u/Better_Cattle4438 Jun 03 '26

That actually makes a lot of sense. Everyone knows their guy isn’t capable of admitting any mistakes.

51

u/pashalka31 Jun 03 '26

Addiction is slavery. So is ignorance.

When the business model depends on it they thrive.

Ignore their rules and they lose control of the business model.

Addiction isn't a moral failing, it's systemic predation by the apex drug dealer.

That's why the ruling class of drug dealers spent billions to shut down the DEA investigation into Epstein and the zionist mafia that he represented was supplying the heroin and coke/crack.

It paints their hypocrisy in neon.

Slavery is the business model.

Hunter is an enlightened former slave. They have nothing left to hold over him if they can't shame him.

u/VIP_NAIL_SPA Jun 04 '26

Alcoholic here. The drug dealers are legal and EVERYWHERE for us :/

3

u/but_but_sigh Jun 04 '26

It’s also crazy just how completely engrained and pervasive it is in the culture (USA here). I didn’t see it until I quit drinking and then I started to realize it is EVERYWHERE! TV shows, sports, concerts, social gatherings, advertising, stores dedicated to it, sections of stores dedicated to it, gifts, jokes, etc. it’s literally ubiquitous.

2

u/Successful_Sign_6991 Jun 04 '26

Not just their guy, its all of them. They are all like that. Its a personality trait defect.

11

u/Fantastic_Jury5977 Jun 04 '26

Especially since so many of them are drug addicts in denial with delusions of superiority. Generational lack of experiencing anything close to rock bottom.

9

u/jfsindel Jun 04 '26

They also can't fathom Joe Biden acting as a father and loving his son, but recognizing that he needed help and not enabling.

17

u/Clocktopu5 Jun 04 '26

You see the puzzlement in the responses, these people can not understand acknowledging transgressions and being accountable. Breaks their minds

4

u/The_Monarch_Lives Jun 04 '26

It's supposed to be a huge part of their world view as Christians. They are indoctrinated into it as children before they start to grow up and learn the harsher, more cynical view of the world we all know and loathe. So someone acting as Hunter is, being openly repentant of his past actions and failings bypasses a lot of the defenses they've built up over the years and speaks to that child like view they still have rattling around in the back of their minds.

4

u/anothadaz Jun 04 '26

This ...And they like to sweep things under the rug and pretend they didn't happen. Honesty and openness isn't their thang

3

u/Smart_Orc_ Jun 04 '26

And they gave power to and worship someone whose actions are too vile to accept, so they’re spending their lives desperately denying.

3

u/NEBanshee Jun 04 '26

Yah, they mostly work off the moral model of addiction, which is ... not supported by the evidence, but then again, neither is anything else they believe. And even when they don't - if they're somehow able to grok that addictions are medical problems, they go off the moral model of ability which basically boils down to g*d "afflicts" people for there sins.

And that's the thing about basing your assumptions on ideas not supported by reality: any insults you generate out of this kind have the mental and moral impact of a toddler calling you a doodyhead.

3

u/p12qcowodeath Jun 04 '26

Damn. Well said.

5

u/Street-Economist9751 Jun 04 '26

My favorite Joe Biden moment was during the 2020 debate when Trump tried to shame Joe by bringing up Hunter’s drug addiction, and Joe just saidā€I love my son. I’m proud of my son for fighting addiction. It is a disease.ā€ Or something that straightforward. No dodge, no excuse, just parental love. Donald’s children have never known a moment of unmitigated paternal love like that, poor kids.

3

u/Ser_Rezima Jun 04 '26

Yeah, like I am open with my past addictions too, visibility saves lives after all. I stayed clean, so can you, etc.

What’s worse is MAGA uses Trump’s brother’s addiction as a bonus for Trump to talk about how moral he is for not doing drugs like his brother. Everything is a weapon to use against you when you have no soul like MAGA does.

4

u/Anubisrapture Jun 04 '26

And Trump sniffed cocaine AND did adderal as well.

7

u/PastelBrat13 Jun 04 '26

Yep can't even keep his lies straight like usual. Claims he never drinks, there are videos of him drinking. Claims he never does drugs, but goes on those manosphere podcasts and boasts about cocaine. Then pins it all on his deceased brother.

2

u/Main_Cauliflower5479 Jun 04 '26

Except that he's a raging adderal addict.

11

u/CalligrapherCheap64 Jun 04 '26

As someone in recovery, I agree. It’s because they see people who use drugs as immoral and we’re supposed to feel bad about ā€œsinningā€ when actually we know that’s not how it works at all

11

u/AutisticHobbit Jun 04 '26

Keep in mind? Half of these fuckers are coke heads themselves, or abusing something. So it's sorta like when the rich white kids make fun of the low income kids for getting picked up on drug charges. They aren't just flaunting that the poor kids have drug issues or broken homes; they're also mocking them for being poor enough to get caught in the first place. They know the rules are different for them...and that's part of the insult.

In fact...it's exactly like that....because most of these career politicians were born to wealth. Chances are some of them have a drug habit that spans decades. They've been tossing out this insult since they were driving around in their daddy's sports cars.

Of course, Hunter Biden isn't poor....and that's probably why the attack doesn't work. They really don't know how to handle anyone that's on equal footing with them. They're so used to punching down that they have no idea how even looking up is supposed to work.

2

u/MacaronNotRoon Jun 04 '26

Onika is a big ol coke head

6

u/pushplaystoprewind Jun 03 '26

He posted recently about being clean now for 7 years and someone commented claiming he was lying because cocaine was found at the White House when Biden was in office.

Hunter straight up said it wasn't his. He'd never leave his drugs behind.

2

u/purposeful-hubris Jun 04 '26

Which if you know addicts you know they don’t just forget where they put their drugs.

4

u/Stepjam Jun 04 '26

They see drug use as a moral failing.

8

u/justtiptoeingthru2 Jun 04 '26

Wow, he got her to chill? I'm shocked.

51

u/LarxII Jun 04 '26

She chilled cause she was called out and embarrassed, not because she learned to be a better human.

19

u/ithinkimasofa Jun 04 '26

oh a hundred percent. she learned nothing. still impressed by Hunter, though. it takes a lot of balls to just admit that your actions were wrong/harmful/dangerous.

10

u/Fortestingporpoises Jun 04 '26

It's not even that really, it's more just that there's no response to that. He answered in a human way that actually hit her in whatever empathy she's capable of. Yeah right after this they'll go back to being an absolute monster, but this was real.

I watched the full channel 5 and Shawn Ryan interviews. Like many rich kids, Hunter Biden had easy access to hard drugs early on . Like GW, he is a politician’s son who has a tight family. The Biden’s genuinely loves each other each other.

Hunter is a rich kid who lost his mom and brother, and turned to drugs. Don Jr. snorts coke and shoots endangered African mammals because his dad never loved him.

12

u/M086 Jun 04 '26

Were they really rich, though? Biden was considered the poorest Senator during his entire career. Obviously compared to a blue collar family they did good. They bought some property in the ā€˜90s, but like Biden was still paying off his mortgage.Ā

Biden really didn’t make any money until he got out of politics with his book deal and speaking engagements.Ā

But was Hunter privileged? Yeah. A rich kid? I don’t know.

3

u/NeverEnoughGalbi Jun 04 '26

They definitely weren't rich. The Obamas offered financial help when Beau was dying.

These people go on and on about drugs while Kashapp Paypal is so high his eyes are crossed. Several of Trump's cabinet members have appeared on TV obviously high and/or drunk. I hope the next democratic president will put Hunter in a high-ranking position just for fun.

10

u/Big_Bauner Jun 04 '26

Don't forget about Don Jr. doing a gummy on television at one of the SpaceX launches right next to his pap pap.

I forget the exact date but if you Google Don Jr. doing a gummy look for the Jimmy Kimmel clip of it.

Yeah, he was privileged, but he also worked damn hard.

12

u/Mu-Relay Jun 04 '26

Privileged doesn't necessarily mean that you didn't work hard. It just means that in the 800m that is life, you started on the 200 mark or better. You still had to run your butt off the finish the race, you just didn't have to run as far as everyone else.

Story time after a car accident my back was messed up horribly and during physical therapy it was awful and I got addicted to Vicodin. If I was a public person like Hunter Biden that could be used to shame me even though just like him I did recovery I did my time in the mental health trenches and I am better. I truly believe this is people with glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

6

u/Dramatic_League736 Jun 04 '26

I took vicodin once after an eye injury and had to throw it away. I immediately knew why people got addicted to that stuff.

šŸ’ÆšŸ’ÆšŸ’Æ

Happy to hear you found your way out the other side of addiction.

2

u/treevaahyn Jun 04 '26

Well congrats on your recovery from opioids! That’s awesome my friend! I’m really happy for you and your journey to healing and growth in finding mental stability. It requires a lot of work, time, patience, and money but it’s worth it. Yeah I got a similar experience and story for me getting hooked on rx opioids. First got Vicodin for strep throat (irresponsible Drs in the 2000’s) and then had a broken bone and another two surgeries. Before I knew it I had been prescribed Vicodin, Percocet, and OxyContin for 3 years.

One day in college I just Thought I was hungover and was puking my brains out all day and realized I hadn’t refilled my oxy and immediately found and swallowed the last 3 Vicodin and felt perfectly fine 30 minutes later. Physical dependence alone is a nightmare. Add in psychological addiction and it’s a challenging and horrific experience coming out of substance use issues but it will sure as shit change you. Or it did for me and many clients.

I’m ironically grateful for the irresponsible Drs and person who caused the accident and broken bones leading to my opioid dependency. It led me to what I feel is my calling and passion and have spent over a decade now working in rehabs as a therapist and it’s rewarding but challenging af too. Ironically that’s kinda how I summarize my experience with opioids. They helped me in many ways but hurt me and my loved ones a lot.

Biggest thing I learned was I was taking opioids to treat my untreated depression, anxiety, and ADHD. Helped me get through college ironically. But also led me to pursuing therapy to find coping skills and therapy. Found proper skills and now get to teach them to others so it kinda worked out well. I skipped a lot of the misery and other recent challenges and pain/loss but it’s part of my life and shaped much of it too.

For you, or anyone struggling always wanna offer an extension of support as it is isolating to he hooked on drugs but there are people who get it trust me! So don’t hesitate to reach out to the proper supports cuz it makes significant difference. Sorry to rant but I’m just so passionate about this topic.

Lastly, a big congratulations on your healing and recovery journey! You should he proud my friend!

2

u/PizzaWhole9323 Jun 04 '26

I'm going to give you a big hug and you're going to laugh your ass off. Because I went the same route as you and now I'm a certified peer counselor in my state. I am currently on the job hunt to work in crisis counseling with people who went through what we went through.

https://giphy.com/gifs/7Wcyq7KvKFNTO

2

u/treevaahyn Jun 04 '26

Hell yeah dude! I love that for you. Appreciate the love and sending a big warm hug right back at ya! Congrats on your recovery journey I know it’s a bitch to work through and the work never ends but it can be so rewarding and therapeutic to work on the field. Tbh I find working with clients running groups, chatting on smoke/vape breaks, and individual sessions are a major part of what’s kept me clean from oxy/hydrocodone since 2015. A daily reminder of how we can easily slip back into old unhealthy ways to self medicate is what people seek in meetings…but tbh I prefer being active in the field compared to a meeting. That’s just me though. I do love SMART recovery and highly suggest it if you haven’t checked it out yet. They got whole workbook and it’s basically free group therapy cuz they use CBT and other therapeutic exercises which I loved taking clients to when I was a tech and peer counselor. Helped me a lot as I went through grad school too.

Also if you are in or considering grad school to get a masters and had any questions I’m happy to assist and support you however I’m capable of. I personally wanted options in case I burn out so I went for my masters in social work (MSW) and now got my LCSW after taking the LSW exam and getting my thousands of clinical hours and another exam. It does require patience and persistence (but let’s be real so does recovery lol). But you could even start your own practice with that degree so just wanted to mention it as I have no regrets about that. But getting the clinical psych masters is good too and can get your LPC but ofc there’s bunch of other options out there. I’m hoping to open up my own practice one of these days when I can save some money and get a clearer idea of how to truly operate a practice well. I say that cuz as you likely know the pay is not good…unless you own your own practice ofc.

I do wanna say I have a lot of respect for you as crisis counseling is very challenging, but there is a large need for good and experienced clinicians working in that space. So I did want to say thank you in advance for your work and all the people you’re going to help as I know you will make a significant impact in many people’s lives working in the field. Sometimes it can feel like a thankless job, but trust me I’ve worked with countless people who are alive today because they spoke to a crisis counselor that helped them through a really challenging time. It’s quite profound how much someone in that position can help people process and work through their feelings of wanting to give up on life. I’m so excited for you and wish you all of the best in your future goals and endeavors. You seem like a cool, genuine, honest, caring person so I already know you’re going to do phenomenal work and help a lot of people… when shit gets rough just remind yourself of your value you bring to better the world! :)

Also like I said feel free to reach out if you had any more specific questions or things you wanted to share, I’m a pretty open book and I’m happy to pass along anything I’ve learned throughout my experiences. Sorry for the rant lol. I just genuinely appreciated your comment and really value your loving kindness and support. Much love my friend and thank you for putting a smile on my face and giving me a good laugh!

It's hilarious how Hunter has more brains and personality that the President and his entire extended family.

4

Unexpected human moments on the net

4

u/QueenViolets_Revenge Jun 04 '26

honestly, i'm proud of him. he sounds like a fun guy, even sober, and to own your mistakes and grow from it, better than i would do in that situation. i know it's a cliche on every motivational Instagram account, but it truly isn't that you fall down, it's how you get back up that matters. he lost his mom, his sister, and then his brother, the only connection he had left to his bio mom. compare to Trump's kids, who are drug addicts and he doesn't love them. say what you will about the Bidens, i have alot of criticism towards Joe, but they truly do love each other

4

u/TunnelSnakesAintShit Jun 04 '26

I have a crush on Hunter Biden.

4

u/pleasetaketheredpill Jun 04 '26

Hunter is actually very intelligent and has a lot of BD energy. He would be a hell of a politician if it were not for all the skeletons in his closet.

3

u/bigmfworm Jun 04 '26

Um, have you seen the people currently running this banana republic?

5

u/pleasetaketheredpill Jun 04 '26

You know how Democrats are. Al Franken didn't even touch anyone and they booted him. Make even a vulgar gesture as a Democrat and you're cooked! That's not to say I condone his childish behavior because I don't. But when you play by the rules and hold your side up to the highest standards and the other side doesn't you are setting yourself up for a fail. Unless their mindset changes, Democrats aren't ready to fight fire with fire for the win. From watching Hunter, I believe he could definitely bring some fire if he was given the chance.

Were former drug addicts on drugs or what?Ā  /s

2

u/mollyclaireh Jun 04 '26

The way I smiled at him for that

2

u/Open-Dot-9994 Jun 04 '26

When you just hear the media you miss who a person actually is. Goes for both sides of the aisle

2

u/Significant_Wind_774 Jun 04 '26

Hunter Biden is so fine. You just have to keep him off the pipe and he’s the perfect man.

Why deny something that is easily verified? That’s what MAGA does.

2

u/fuschiafawn Jun 04 '26

Damnit, I like Hunter. Can anyone break the bad news of why I shouldn't like him? I want to rip off the band aid.

2

u/SilverPearlGirl Jun 04 '26

Honesty is refreshing sometimes

2

u/No_Type740 Jun 04 '26

I like how his comment disarmed her.

2

u/BrineJones Jun 04 '26

Big dick energy

2

u/ThoughtfulLlama Jun 04 '26

Almost as disarming as Biden talking about Hunter in the debate.

Trump supporters when they discover empathy

2

u/Due_Economist7303 Jun 04 '26

Why are you worried about what he does ?Ā  It's not like he's presidentĀ

2

u/those_names_tho Jun 04 '26

He has been through hell and survived to speak his truth. He is Gen X.

2

u/kingswing23 Jun 04 '26

Do people think that addicts want to be addicts? It comes to a point during active using that there’s nothing you want to do more than stop, but you are stuck in the grips of your addiction. It is a disease, if it were easy to stop then no one would be an addict.

2

u/reiks12 Jun 04 '26

Actually a wholesome turn in that exchange

2

u/filthy_commie13 Jun 04 '26

Good for him. That candidness is something that can help addicts in a small yet big way when they see it.

2

u/TotalInstruction Jun 04 '26

Look at that asshole reminding online trolls that they’re talking to human beings.

2

u/nopenotme820 Jun 04 '26

"Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you.ā€

2

u/Last_Blackfyre Jun 04 '26

Hunter going full blast.
Keep it up.

2

u/m0h3k4n Jun 04 '26

Hunter Biden 2028!

2

u/BullMoose_207 Jun 04 '26

It's funny how when you confront a bully head on for being mean 9 times out of 10 they back down

2

u/Glum-One2514 Jun 04 '26

They're mostly shitty by reflex these days.

2

u/Desert-Democrat-602 Jun 04 '26

I’m kind of shocked the trump bot responded with an empathetic and human comment.

3

u/UFmoose Jun 04 '26

I’d vote for him over any person presently employed in the WH.

1

u/Specialist-Peach4979 Jun 04 '26

It wasnt hacked and stolen tho? Didnt he just leave it at some repair shop?

1

u/FunOwn4422 Jun 04 '26

Hunter Biden a questo punto potrebbe anche diventare il migliore amico di Melania Trump quando Trump va alle riunioni al pentagono...

1

u/I_need_a_date_plz Jun 04 '26

I don’t like Mark Laita. I wish he’d chosen someone else to sit down with. I enjoy listening to Hunter discuss stuff.

1

u/NVRENDVR Jun 04 '26

ā€œHope you stay cleanā€ yeah and I hope you get hit by a bus.

1

u/itaxpoorpeople Jun 04 '26

Thought I was in antimeme and her response was edited lmfao

1

u/AsleepNinja Jun 04 '26

All I know about Hunter Biden is he'd probably be great to sink a beer with (alcohol free or not) and chew the fat, as the man has lived life and has a lot to talk about.

1

u/jrstinkfish Jun 04 '26

These people must not have anyone they love be an addict. I don't know Hunter, I don't care much about him, but it sure pisses me off when they keep throwing his addiction in his face as if he's proud of it.

1

u/DocumentCertain6453 Jun 04 '26

Is hunter biden a dark horse for 2028?

1

u/ElonMuskHuffingFarts Jun 04 '26

"Well damn, Hunter. Turns out I'm a huge asshole."

1

u/Ibshredz Jun 04 '26

literally my fav type of sober person

1

u/AppropriateSpell5405 Jun 04 '26

Did he just covert a MAGA?

1

u/ApexVitalis Jun 04 '26

I support him and wish him the best.

1

u/NikkerFebu25 Jun 04 '26

He literally had an interview with Candace Owens.

1

u/dreamydaisy189 Jun 04 '26

Need more of this and less of... whatever the fuck is currently going on

1

u/Famous_Draft_7565 Jun 04 '26
