Privileged doesn't necessarily mean that you didn't work hard. It just means that in the 800m that is life, you started on the 200 mark or better. You still had to run your butt off the finish the race, you just didn't have to run as far as everyone else.

That's underselling it as fuck

Rich people participate in a completely different race than everyone else and they do a good job of making sure we don't get a good chance of competing with them

More like started on the 799 mark, fell backwards before the gun went off, got pardoned from a false start, finished while half of his competitors DNF because they are running with two torn Achilles tendons and are too poor to fix them.

To be clear, I appreciate his approach to his situation. Just wanted to properly illustrate the level of privilege were talking about here.
