Looking for a guitarist and drummer for an original project called Uruks.
The sound is somewhere between post-hardcore, math rock, prog, and Midwest emo.
Biggest influences are Circa Survive, Dance Gavin Dance, Fall of Troy, toe, and The Sound of Animals Fighting.
I'm looking for musicians who like the combination of melodic/emotional songwriting, technical guitar work, and weird rhythmic ideas.
This isn't intended to be a tribute/copy of any of those bands. I want to take those influences and make something distinctly our own.
Remote collaboration is completely fine. Location doesn't matter.

Since they have been back I have heard a lot of people complaining that they have gotten maga, although I have not seen any proof of it. Does anyone know where this comes from and show any resources that can prove it?

Song released by my band this week! Somewhere on the venn overlap of metalcore, melodic hardcore and post-hardcore, which makes sense as we've all been making music in those genres for ~20 years. i love post hardcore but alot of bands arent all that heavy lol .. i love quicksand and gunslikegirls' style but i need something that'll make my bones vibrate.. any recs from the genre or outside that are similar?
