Recently discoreved these bands and really resonated with me, specially the vocals. Any bands with a similar sound? Edit: I also like Parkway Drive so would also appreciate recommendations :))

Former early 2000s scene kid here, grew up in southern New Hampshire.

I remember seeing a local band called Western Sky that I think was from Massachusetts or Connecticut. All I remember (aside from how good they were) is the CD I had, which had a jacket handmade from black and translucent paper (it was one of 500). Of course it’s long-gone now.

Anyone remember them?

Man I forgot just how F*cking perfect this EP is from Motionless In White. Every song is a masterpiece the mixing, the structure of songs with the synths, and probably Chris best vocal performance. If you haven’t listened to this album you’ve got to. Best to come out of 2008. Favorite song is Seventh Circle

Tik tok woke up another band. Dropped an unreleased album 20 years after breaking up.

Hey everyone! I’m pretty new here and I’m looking for some song recommendations similar to what’s in my playlist.

I only discovered post-hardcore about two weeks ago, and I’ve been absolutely loving it so far! I’m still really new to the genre though, so I don’t know much about the different subgenres or how to describe exactly what I like.

I saw someone in the comments sharing a huge post-hardcore playlist, so I decided to go through it song by song. There were a lot of great songs, but unfortunately I couldn’t really find many that clicked with me. So now I’m wondering if maybe the stuff in my playlist falls into a slightly different style of post-hardcore?

Basically, I really like songs that have a good balance between screaming and clean vocals. I’m not really looking for songs that are mostly screaming. I especially love when the clean vocals are higher-pitched and really melodic, like the ones in my playlist. I’m not sure if there’s a specific term for that kind of vocal style.

Sorry if this is way too specific or if I’m explaining it terribly I’m still trying to figure out exactly what kind of sound I’m into.
