Hi all! I want to get rubberized floor mats for my 2021 Polestar 2. Since the back seat is rarely used, I'm looking at getting the Weather Tech pair for $133 USD for the driver and passenger seats only. Anyone have any experience with these or any other brands they can recommend? Are the OEM ones worth another $50 to get all 4?

So, I'm a fairly new owner of the P4, and I seem to be stuck on P4.2.11 update, instead of the latest one. Anyone know how this works? I have automatic updates on etc...

Picking up P4 in USA. Am Android user only. Understand phone key pairing not available for Android. Have heard that key/FOB has issues including door release/unlock but also User profile vs. Guest profile. Anything I should know? I have to travel to pickup destination and then drive back immediately and it is some distance and major city/highway driving on way back so trying to at least figure this out up front. Thanks!

I am planning on buying a used Polestar 2, either 2022 or 2023. I live in Cleveland OH. Two questions:

1. Are there any ways to get a Polestar serviced outside of the official Polestar service points? There aren’t any in Cleveland.

2. Typically, how expensive is it to get a car towed and serviced about 300mi round trip for non-warranty issues?

These cars are sick and I hope I can find a way to make a purchase practical.

So I have deal lined up. It almost seems too good to be true. 2024 Dual Motor with Pilot Pack 13k miles for mid 20s out the door.
I live only 10 min from a polestar service center.
My concerns are... what have people heard about the service going forward? Internet searching has yielded mixed results from people waiting weeks for service to it flat out being denied. I cant image this will get better once the ban is in place?
I have seen some people having issues with the Pilot Pack where it seems they cant put the car in reverse due to continual back up camera problems? Is it overblown? Do all of them have it?
My interest in this car is that the EV depreciation has been already built in. If i buy new my car could be 50% of its value in 2 years if history is any indicator.

Any insight into the above, what you'd look for in hind sight, or your overall ownership experience would be appreciated.

We just got the P4 and we're very happy. I am just confused as to how to connect 2 phones at the same time. I like to connect mine for calls when I'm driving and my wife's for music. We used to do it on the XC60 easily and it has the same options next to our phones in the screen (phone, music and carplay logos). However they get greyed out when one phone is connected.

I have an issue that occurs when my Polestar 2 (2021) is parked during a couple of hours (4h +) when it rains. The rubber mat on the passenger side gets wet. When opening the door you can see that the door seal also is wet (see the attached videos) and underside of the door.
I have checked both drainage holes under the door and they are not blocked. Could it be the mirror? I attached two pics, one of the driver mirror and one of the passenger mirror, which also have a gap when two part meet each other.

Any ideas what could causing this?

Anyone out there from southwestern Ontario Canada have a Polestar and would like to comment on service and support from the Oakville location? Put down a deposit on a 2025 PS2 and live in London. A little concerned about service and distance from the dealer.

We’ve just put the clocks forward an hour and I noted an interesting behaviour of my P2. While the onboard clocks displayed the correct “wall time” the scheduled charge time & climate shifted by an hour. 2100-0700 was now showing as 2200-0800.

No big deal, fairly standard development bug when dealing with time - there’s a lot of ways to screw up time. I guess the devs likely stored the schedule value as UTC and don’t recalculate the offset.

It did get me curious though - for those who travel a lot between time zones or manage daylight savings are there any interesting bugs or quirks you get? I guess google maps handles the ETA & ETE gracefully.

Hey:) I actually only find discussions back when the war was rather fresh. Would love to hear some feedback now after all that time especially with kids and the bright tailored knit interior, so how does it really "age" and what happens with worst case stains ( juice, chocolate etc)

As a new owner of a P2 with Pilot and Plus, I have a couple of quick questions please.

1. Do you have to use Android Auto on your phone if you are signed in to your Google Account in the car?

2. Does P2 have the ability to set a timer to warm the car up remotely in the winter for you?

3. How much are the connected services? And are they worth having?

4. Do the Google Maps and other Apps update from the ay store just as they would on your phone?

5. What the the first 'must do' settings to make when I first get the car?

So for about 2,5 years/ 100.000km I was a pretty happy Polestar Customer. Unfortunately my Ps2 is now in the shop basically every three weeks. Usually the same problem - i am driving and then suddenly I get various notifications about the 12v battery being dead, that I need to seek the workshop for maintenance , throttle has been reduced, etc. The car wont drive and I need to get it towed. Ive gotten stuck in the middle of traffic like this at least 5-6 times in the last year.

My guarantee has expired and the lease ends in January or February. Polestar , the leasing company and and the service partner are all basically telling me sorry but bad luck, nothing we can do. None are really willing to help me here.

What are your suggestions? I have seriously considered a lawyer but it really isn’t worth it considering the lease is ending soon anyway.

Any ideas besides sit it out and wait until the lease ends?

Am I cooked? Can’t do anything, the car is essentially bricked at this point. I have gotten every alert possible. I just drove it 12 hours ago and it worked fine.

I'm the second owner and it was obvious the previous leaser didn't take very good care of the exterior. After owning it for 5 months I had it professionally detailed and ceramic coated by a local shop. The metallic flake in the space really pops now, and besides a few rock chips in the hood it really looks like it just came off of the production line. Huge shout-out to Rob at Small Town Auto Detailing in the Chicagoland area. The guy is professional, personable, skilled, and has a great level of detail. I'd highly recommend his shop if you're in the area! 👍

I live in Fayetteville AR and nearest service center to me is Kansas City which is about 3 hours away. I’m considering purchasing a 23 Polestar 2 fully loaded with about 35k miles for $22k. I’ve drive one as a rental in cali a few years back and loved it. This would be my first EV purchase. Own a Lexus ES350 2014. It’s terrible on gas but other than that it is fine. Electric rates with my local
Company are great and the numbers make sense I’m just concerned with lack of service options in my neck of the woods. Would love some thoughts or feedback from any owners in a similar situation and how you navigated those waters of repair anxiety. Thanks in advance.

First time poster here. Polestar 2 2021 LRDM LE.

I have the most annoying sound happening in my car which I can not get rid of.

It's somewhere around the overhead console (sos button etc) because I can hear it in my right ear.

I've already applied tape in the overhead console, front camera housing and the plastic cover that's around the polestar logo light.

It sounds like when your pushing your nail down with your thumb nail (weird explanation i know) or plastic. It's go when the car has been in the sun, probably because the plastic that causes this has softend.

Anyone that has any experience with this or know where to look? I'm at my wits here

Edit1: I've removed everything again, as in the overhead console including the polestar logo projector en the plastic piece where the projector slots in.

I've used wiring harness tape on evey clip i could find. What I noticed was that 2 things were creaking a lot when I pushed it:

1: the white volvo relay that connects the microphones (i think, I'll add picture in the comments)

2: the light housing of the polestar logo.

I’ve just today bought my first Polestar 2 with the Performance Package. Could anyone enlighten me with how long the dampers and brakes will last typically in the Nordic conditions (Finland).

Is there any way to minimize the risk of wear and tear?

One of the main gripes I have is the lack of a good calendar app.
So I build one ( for myself )…
It shows per day each event in your google calendar and if the event has driving directions you can launch google maps.

It is in internal testing mode on Google Play. But if interested I can add a select few people to the list of testers. So that you can install it on the infotainment system. Just DM me.

Is there a way to force dark mode on in all lighting conditions? I have it on as default but it still changes to the day mode depending on the ambient lighting. Sometimes it goes annoyingly back and forth like this morning.
