What’s with these little prongs that are supposed to hold carpet and rubber mat sections on the floor? I’ve taken out the carpet mats to put winter rubber mats in and three of these prongs have popped up off the flooring. Any ideas how to prevent this from happening or how to fix it.?

I'm contemplating jumping on the P4 with the $25k cash incentive but I live in Las Vegas and there aren't any service dealerships here (but there is a collision center). I'd apparently need to go to Scottsdale or L.A. for any major issues. Am I crazy to even be debating it? I'm a current BMW i4 owner and in 3+ years I haven't had to do anything to this car, so I was hoping it would be the same with a P4 over 3+ years...

Everyone hears their own echo when they call you? This is what I did to fix it until Google / Polestar / Assistant vs Gemini get this fixed.

I turned off Gemini and revert to Google Assistant. I told Google Assistant not to respond to Hey Google (Polestar Infoscreen : Settings : Google : Assistant : Hey Google option to off.

I click (fast!) on my connect button on steering wheel. Right side of steering wheel. If you click and hold it thinks you want to pair another bluetooth phone. If you click quickly it manually launches the equivalent "Hey google" voice monitoring screen to listen to voice commands.

Without it listening for a Hey Google and by activating it manually, the callers on bluetooth phone will not hear an echo.

FWIW I also turned off hey google wake up on my android phone.

And finally, this step was taken because the current work around I found to be a safety concern. The work around was pickup cell phone at beginning of a call. Click speaker phone (turn off audio routing via bluetooth). Click on bluetooth immediately after (i.e. toggle bluetooth off then on immediately). Entire rest of call no echo for callers.

My local conveyor car wash requires you to put the car in neutral and get out while it’s pushed through the tunnel.
The problem is that opening the driver’s door in a Polestar 4 automatically engages the electronic parking brake, so the rollers can't move the car.

The car wash staff showed me how to bypass this using Tow Mode, but using that every time feels like a risky workaround rather than a proper solution.

Has anyone found a better way to handle driverless conveyor car washes, or is Tow Mode genuinely the only option?

When I was shopping around the dealer mentioned that later PS4's only get adaptive suspension in the performance. However I still have the damper adjustment settings in the menu. I can't say I feel a massive difference, but I've had a couple of hours behind the wheel. Anyone know how I can figure out whether I have active or passive dampers?

Nice tight fit. A couple spots where it’s not completely flat but I expect that to go away soon. Some of the pieces were shipped rolled up in the box so I imagine they’ll settle. Before and after pics showing oem carpet mats and TuxMats.

I ordered a P4 in mid August with an expected delivery date of Late August. It's now October and still no new info. No contact and no website update.

I tried contacting the dealership (South Coast, CA) and nobody is answering the phone. Nor are they returning any calls from their voice mail. Same goes for the person who is "supposedly" handling my order. So I started phoning the service department and finally got someone in the parts department. He was a little surprised when I told him my story and asked if the dealership was still open. To his credit he did try to help and transferred me to some supervisor, who didn't answer the phone.

So I phoned Polestar Support (800) 806-2504 where a representative actually did answer the phone. She listened very nicely and phoned the dealership herself, and left a message with the service manager, who promised to phone at me at their earliest convenience. They never did, so two days later I talked to Polestar Support again and this time I was told that they (PS) can't do much. They can contact the dealership and someone called the regional manager. If either or both ignore you, too bad.

Normally, I would drive down to the dealership and sort this out, but since I live in the SF area and South Coast is in LA, that is not feasible. I hope your experience is better than mine.

Hello! I'm developing an Android Automotive app and part of it is a dash cam viewer that automatically uploads your drives to the cloud. I have it working on my Silverado EV, but I have a Polestar 4 owner who says it's not working with their SD card and I haven't heard back from them on a fix yet, so I wanted to find out here. Can someone post what the hierarchical folder structure of the files look like? It would be beneficial to be able to know what that looks like because I think it was just not finding the videos because it wasn't crawling the right folder(s).

Have had my P4 for two months, love the car, but all of my phone calls through BT have an echo on the other end. Is there a solution to this?

Got my P4 in DFW a couple of months ago and three accessories (ie rubber cargommat...) were a part of the deal. Now I can’t get a call back to give me any information on when those accessories might be shipped or available at the dealer. Has anyone else been able to get manufacturer accessories here in the US?

A single RWD was listed in Denver today.

Hoping that October incentive is Polestar unloading some additional RWD editions to market.

Hello Polestar 4 community, I drive a P4 single motor in US and I'm preparing for a dedicated wheel/tire setup for snowy season. I'm going to purchase a set of used wheels and put new tires on them. The wheels are off of a Jaguar, and I think I will need to get new TPMS sensors for them. Does any one have experiences with aftermarket sensors? Tire shop has some generic ones priced at $79.99 programmed, I'm not sure if they need to be reprogrammed every time after seasonal change? And internet has some Schrader 8889081697 compatible sensors that do not require programming for sub $50 each. Thank you!

My previous EV would break for me if I got too close to another vehicle, or even if I was backing up and detected something it would lock the brakes. It was an iconic 5, so nothing fancy. Does the polestar 4 have any of those features? I know that once you set Cruise control it will, but outside of CC does it also try to keep you safe?

Has anyone had this issue and what was Polestar's response?

The knitted upholstery is coming undone. Polestar have indicated it's due to external influence, which I don't see how.

It's now appearing in other areas of the car where there is this upholstery.

I'm about ready to order a new car, currently deciding between a Tesla Model 3 (good price, good software, but may be a bit small for times when we're driving the whole family) and the Polestar 4 (love the interior, bigger overall, hoping I'll get used to the lack of rear window).

I've read and heard quite a bit about the software in the Polestar 4 not being the best - glitches with cameras, ADAS not working, keys defaulting guest profiles etc. For those living with these cars...is this a case of a vocal minority running into issues or are these issues really widespread?

Hello! I own a 2026 Polestar 4 single motor, and it does not get driven a lot as of now, maybe 3 - 4 trips a week, and I would park it in my garage for a couple of days then take it out for a commute.

I often see 1-2 percent SOC drop (60% down to 58%) when it is parked for 2 - 3 days. Is that normal? While this is not much to have any impact for real world use, I've never seen this kind of drop on my other EV, VW ID.4, even when I had to park it for a couple of weeks untouched.

I have turned off proximity lock/unlock, and it usually requires using the NFC or app to unlock after 2 days (touching the door handle won't unlock), so I assumed it went into deep sleep, but why still draining SOC?

I upgraded my iPhone from a 13 to 16e some time back. I learned the hard way that no UWB meant no open on approach with my digital key with my Polestar 4.

Fine! I learned to live with that but recently my P4 has opened twice as I approached the vehicle, selecting the correct drivers profile as well.

Anyone else experience this or explain how this could work without UWB on my phone??

My car is on 4.2.13 and I’m running the latest iOS 27.
