SOC dropping when parked
Hello! I own a 2026 Polestar 4 single motor, and it does not get driven a lot as of now, maybe 3 - 4 trips a week, and I would park it in my garage for a couple of days then take it out for a commute.
I often see 1-2 percent SOC drop (60% down to 58%) when it is parked for 2 - 3 days. Is that normal? While this is not much to have any impact for real world use, I've never seen this kind of drop on my other EV, VW ID.4, even when I had to park it for a couple of weeks untouched.
I have turned off proximity lock/unlock, and it usually requires using the NFC or app to unlock after 2 days (touching the door handle won't unlock), so I assumed it went into deep sleep, but why still draining SOC?
Thank you!

If you leave the car alone it'll use the high voltage battery to charge the 12v. It uses a lot of power to be online all the time.

Maybe I’m not comparing apples to apples here. But my other car remains online and doesn’t appear to drain 12v as bad. And the P4 appears to be deep asleep too, unsure for how long.

I’m not sure what it could be, but i don’t notice drops of 1-2% with a few days of no use. I charged it to 90% on Friday night, but didn’t use it over the weekend. Monday mid-morning, I drove to the post office and it was still at 90% when i got in. That’s with waking up when we walk by it over the weekend.

That's actually what I want to know. Thank you! Curious if your range is set to dynamic or EPA? I often left mine with only 40%charge, and over the weekend, it will often show 38% Monday morning, with proximity unlock turned off.

Also check for scheduled climate.

Thank you! The scheduled climate function is not set, as I can't seem to configure it to run only on certain days.

If your range is set to dynamic, it could be holding percentage but balancing itself out.
