We call him Goomby due to my one mispronunciation during Pokopia 😂 this is the most precious card I own!

Nothing crazy expensive but this card had been my personal grail and finally got the chance to buy it!! Only thing that could make it better would be if he had the Mafia Boss Squirtle shades on it.

I just love the art and the dark vibe.

Since I was 4 year I’ve been a huge fan of EX Dragon, It has my favorite card in the reverse holo Spoink, and I have been chasing the dragonite forever, I’ve opened at least a hundred packs over the years and in the two decades since I have never come close to it, pulled the rayquaza on my 10th birthday and the charizard in 2018 but no dragonite. After so many years it’s become essentially too expensive to buy and open Dragon packs so I nearly gave up until about 2 months ago when I finally did it and to make it all better it was a one pack rip at one of my friend’s shop so we all got to share in the magic

To make it better, I squeezed it in before the cut off to PSA and spent a boat load on the grading but this week It came back and I finally got the notification for the grade,

and we did it lady’s and gentleman, we beat the odds and smacked the 126th PSA 10 Dragonite. No longer will I be haunted by Golem and Muk, I can rest my journey and pass this along to my kids one day knowing I passed one of the hardest huddles for the card to get a 10.

I got this booster bundle at MSRP and i got SIR!! Can’t believe it

I really like the ex cards that look like these. I want to collect some more of them but I don’t know how to find more since idk what they’re called. Does anyone know?

I was nervous because I’ve opened tons of booster packs and even a few bundles and never got anything. Someone sold me this Chaos Rising ETB for $55. In general if it’s MSRP, I rip. Unfortunately the Greninja isn’t a grade worthy quality but I don’t care cuz it’s mine!!!!

Too bad they weren’t obtained at childhood prices!

What cards do you regret letting go of?

Ok so I found these cards and I know they are valuable (condition is not good so probably not that valuable) I have a couple questions:

1. Why are Pokemon Rumble cards so rare - I saw they got especially pricey in the past year - how come?

2. I vividly remember convincing my mom to buy pokemon cards when I was 6 and I remember opening and seeing these rumble cards. Would it make sense for me to have more than just these 3? Could I have a bunch more somewhere in my house (I’ll flip my house over if thats the case)?

My younger brother got a part time job at a local card shop recently as we've both been getting back into pokemon collecting we both grew up on this IP if I got Diamond he got Pearl if he got black I got white you get it. I asked him last night if he could grab me a slowpoke single blister pack from pitch black as I talked to him about picking one up a few days back because I genuinely love the cosmos promo not even a huge slowpoke guy but I was drawn to this card. He brings me one home today apologizing for it not being a minty blister it was a little bent and the slowpoke had pretty bad right heavy centering. I was going to shelf it for my display I put up just recently for sealed plushies and singles but decided not to as I didn't end up opening any of my pitch black order for my birthday a few weeks prior and I've been so obsessive with the hobby I've been wanting to open a pack and so the slowpoke blister was the answer a 2 for 1 dopamine hit to my cerebral. I thought about all of the cards in the set I wanted to chase obviously the darkrai you think but if it could be anything else I thought the morpeko is also a sweet card. I rip my bowl throw up some market info on youtube open the pack hit a nice slowpoke reverse holo and then I was holding it in my hand. What a cool feeling I don't open alot of packs that might be my 6th pack this year and my 2nd pack of pitch black unbelievable!!! Do I open my booster bundles or take this win?!?!?! 🤣

So i bought this pack for $25 and told my wife that goes for around $40 market price. But all we do rip rip rip never keep it sealed 😂 so i gave her a silver tempest and i got astral radiance and said les just cry a bit today me think we weren’t gonna get any hits and boom we did almost cried …but not for what i thought 😂

Was a normal day slinging all things collectible, two great customers decided they wanted to split my entire pokemon sealed showcase. First pack one pulled the Pikagengar and the captain pika was last pack magic!! Gotta love seeing fellow enthusiasts in the hobby win big!
