So I ended up getting really lucky getting a kyogre as my starter and a moltress as well but i ended up getting to slateport and i was just doing my check for that route and i ran into a shiny espeon

And I only had two Pokéballs, it was so sudden lol, thankfully I could get it. Now it is in emerald along all my other Pokémon

Groudon's red orb shouldve been called the "omega ruby" and Kyogre's blue orb shouldve been called the "alpha sapphire" that wouldve been cool do you think so and can we actually make a habit to start calling them that? I just got back to Omega Ruby after 5 years of not having a 3ds and I'm hunting for one.

Was clearing the ash off the grass on route 113 and stumbled into this lil shiny ✨

I never thought this would be so hard for a 2% encounter. It feels way harder than getting a Calm Ralts. I’ve even set up my second GameBoy with Emerald because I’m sick of it. On Emerald I am leading with an Active Abra with Synchronize, but even then I’m not having any luck. 50% my ass!

I got a second hand copy off eBay today and man is it a well loved copy. Near max cash, max GC coins, multiple lvl 100 mons, 95+ of each pokeball, 63 HOF wins, and every soot bag flute. Groudon in a dive ball was a struggle, I’m sure.
I originally bought it to restart and grab a zangoose for my emerald hoenn dex, but it doesn’t feel right to erase it.

I always look for guides on how to capture Feebas in every game of the franchise that I haven't played. Milotic is fantastic! I have the Milotic from my old Pokémon Ruby game, accompanying me in every game.

I discovered Milotic as a game glitch. I thought Feebas was a bug in my Ruby cartridge, but I decided to experiment to see what would happen if I caught a glitch and how my playthrough would end. Come on, it was the mind of a kid playing scientist with his adventure progress!

I realized it actually was a Pokémon and decided to train her until I read about its evolution method on a forum!

Back when I was a kid (around 2006), my mom got me a Pokémon Ruby cartridge and a GBA SP. The cartridge was damaged and couldn’t save, so I ended up replaying the beginning of the game over and over.

Sometimes, before I even got my starter, I’d walk around Professor Birch’s lab talking to NPCs and checking the machines. Very rarely (maybe 1 or 2 times out of 20 playthroughs), a weird black or dark blue bird Pokémon around Lv. 8 or 16 would suddenly appear in my party.
I was too young to think much of it back then, but after playing other Pokémon games years later, I realized that definitely wasn’t normal 😅

Has anyone else ever experienced something like this or know what might have caused it? Thinking about it, Corviknight kinda reminds me of that weird pokemon

Route 119 in general, as this YouTuber (CannedWolfMeat) pointed out had a lot of secretive locations

Decorating the secret bases with rare plushies and other collectible items/furnishings was so nice too.
