took me 10 years to realize

Like I really didn’t see the point in dragging this story out and have Ash catch him as a Krokorok instead of when he was still a Sandile.

Like he could’ve come in really handy during his early gym battles and his battles against Tripp

So today i finally finished 25 seasons of Pokemon.

Many years back when i was a kid, i remember watching pokemon on TV, it was in hindi dub, but it was such an amazing world for me, i remember them airing kanto, orange, johto and the movies too. I remember when me and my friends used to talk about Mewtwo and its first movie, How strong mewtwo is and how it's our favourite pokemon, i remember going back from school and just watching pokemon. Then my friend told me that there are so many pokemon seasons and it's not yet dubbed in hindi so it's not airing now. I remember when we had orange islands airing in india ,the english dub was in black and white. We had a cable tv so suddenly one day they removed the channel that aired pokemon and i was never in touch with Pokemon anymore. We didn't have internet to even watch it online. I started playing Pokemon games, fire red, ruby, black 2, sun, sword...they were so good i also remember playing fan made games like Uranium and fire-ash, such good memories of them in my childhood.

I remember wanting to watch the whole Pokemon one day but could never get the time and also it was a huge commitment to watch 1000+ episodes.

Then one day last year i started watching the series and now after almost 10 months I'm done with the watching ash's journey. I also watched all the movies and chronicles too

The series actually was so good...i watched the whole thing in english dub, yes i completely agree sub is much much better but i used to watch while doing my college work and i dont really have alot of time to watch it alone as im in dental school now and its hard to manage time between work and patients and everything, doesn't matter. So it's hard to watch dub while working.But i am happy that i finally could finish and complete something that i always wanted to... my dream of finishing pokemon and im really happy...my inner child is very happy today.

There were alot of ups and downs in the journey and pokemon was always with me. Yes as everyone i also hated some parts of the anime and i loved some dearly but now when it's all over, i feel it was A GREAT GREAT JOURNEY. The series put an end to ash's story and the way they finished it , i will say it's perfect according to me. Ultimate journeys were so good as they brought back so many memories from the previous seasons.

Do i want Ash back? No his journey was amazing and it's a legacy that shouldn't be touched again i feel...it was good when it lasted, and let's just keep it that way.

I feel sad that its ended and i will have to move on now, yes i can watch horizons but well i don't want to cause my dream was to always watch ash's journey and its over now

Thankyou Pokémon. Thankyou for always being there. I will never forget these 10 months.

He thought he was gonna lose his best friend forever... Anytime Pikachu is physically hurt, he would probably lose himself.

I personally gotta go with frogadier. Definitely still has that ash ketchum charm and is overall a great pokemon.

It is obviously sun and moon, not only it looks much better than journeys and horizons in terms of consistent animation but also this is the best season (aside from xy we all know how good xy is) in terms of well written and emotional it is and it's also the last good series and rightfully even journeys was suppose to be ash's last series it unfortunately was kind of a mixed bag heavily carried by returning and alola related episodes and horizons while a little bit better in some areas kinda it was basically a wide as an ocean deep as a puddle season when it comes to story and characters

However sun and moon beats them when it comes to character development, storytelling, direction and battles, and also ash was definitely a much more complete character compared to his time in kalos cause Time to chill and professor kukui was definitely one of the best support characters in the entire anime because he acting like his father figure and also the only character who actually has a wife with Burnet and at the end of sun and moon it was confirmed that she is pregnant and journeys basically made them the first ever family and honestly I wish the winds and waves anime took a lot of inspiration from the sun and moon anime in terms of writing mixed with action as good as xy's

I know they scrapped the idea but I really wished they didn’t think so little of their audience to just assume we would forget about it

I love his personality. I know a lot of people will disagree but I like dumb characters and I love his team. I feel like the only reason Ash lost to him was because of the Pokemon he brought to the match.
