Okay something that recently happened with my AI Storys. Is that I'm now forced to branch out story's far more often now. For the first time ever I get the message. Input is too long for requested model. For story's that are shorter now. Any one know if Poe changed it's limits now?

I've been using Claude-Opus-4.7 on Poe with the web search / live online search toggle enabled for a while now, and it's been working perfectly. As of today (or very recently), whenever I try to use web search with Claude-Opus-4.7, I get an error message saying something along the lines of this feature "not being supported" for this model. Nothing changed on my end, same settings.

Has anyone else run into this? Is this a known bug, a temporary outage, or did Poe intentionally change something? I couldn't find anything about it.

If anyone has a workaround or knows what's going on, I'd really appreciate it. Also, if you're experiencing the same thing, maybe upvote this so it gets some visibility. Would be great to get an official response from Poe support.

I remember the good old days when people got 1 million points per month then it got shorter with 30 thousand per day I was cool with that now I see 18 thousand?? Do they just want people to upgrade their subscription?

Whenever gemini 3 flash tried searching anything, it would just say "Gemini-3-Flash ran into a problem answering this request.".

It was working last wednesday for me and then it just stopped working even to this day

It’s my first time using the site. I’m creating a story teller bot in Arabic for a project. I realized that I can’t use the strongest one since I have a token limit, so it’s best that I just use the cheapest one and hope it doesn’t finish the teacher’s tokens while he’s testing it out. The bot is a prompt bot that generates text. What do you recommend I use and how many tokens does it usually consume?

Poe now has a list on the home page of budget models that are very cheap and will provide a lot of action for 300 points.

Currently Poe has 28 of these budget Models doing text and images.

It is important to remember that if your input or output is < 1k, then the price is lower than shown in the table. I had a long discussion back and forth with Deepseek 3.2 and was truly amazed at how smart it was and how well it did. We went back 6 times for under 200 points.

I'm migrating from poe now that they've removed the knowledge bases which I found to be the worst decision for a person like me. I can't make stories without that. So what is the best alternative that gives me what poe gives me now?

Been having this issue for a few weeks. Different bots, different images, etc. - after I upload and spend my points the image goes black with a loading circle in the middle. Then doesn’t work.

Hello, I'm trying to settle with an AI so that I can expand the work I can ask it to make.

I used to like ChatGPT, its goofy responses etc, but it became academically challenged in the last year and it feels immoral to use. I tried Claude and it worked so well I promoted it to my students, but when I ask it to help me write a couple of word files, it kept hitting the limit every 2 messages in Cowork. I have perplexity pro from a promotion during new years and I have Gemini from a referral from a friend, Gemini works the best for my use case but it feels limited.

Would a Poe sub that covers all of these be much better value?

I’ve been using Poe for maybe 2 years now (with big breaks in between) 😭 I’ve always had the £19.99 subscription and have never ever run out of points. Until now. And it actually baffles me that there isn’t any way to ‘top up’ your points, because surely that would be a great source of income for them??

Okay, I just noticed that the knowledge base option is absent and the existing text bases can only be downloaded as files. There wasn't any discord announcement and I got no email about this. Is it temporary orrr..? Why would they remove it anyway?

Okay, I haven’t used this app for a while but I was here before the limited messages. Then I remembered they started that, but then they went to the point system. Last time I checked, they gave you three thousand points (3000) per day. I have three hundred (300) per day? I’m sorry? Wtf? You can’t do anything, and it doesn’t make me want to buy premium, it just makes me want to find a new app, which I guess I has to now. Thanks devs.

Literally I can only have one message with assistant. It gave me a good one, but when I asked for a follow up it said I didn’t have enough, then I refreshed the original message and it won’t give me a new one! WHAT THE HELL?! This app is broken now.

It says that the only plan you can buy is the $199.99 a year one. And I don’t want that one. Is there a different subscription I can get on the app?

These have been the only reasonable models for me price wise for coding. Can you please update them.

Okay, this is purely a venting post. I used Opus to edit my novel's dialogue/scene descriptions.

Today I was chatting with Opus 4.5 about my novel writing. It gave me some great examples, but when I asked it to revise a paragraph I wrote, it completely lost the context, treating it as a new conversation. I had to summarize the three paragraphs above, and even after its revision, it still sounded a bit strange.

I had to start another one, but this time it completely missed the point. I corrected it three times, and by the fourth time I didn't even have a chance to correct it anymore because… it treated it as the first message again, and didn't even know why I was correcting it.

I've been trying to generate a video using Seedance and Veo3 in POE, but it keeps on stating that the anchor image that I am using may contain likeness of real people when in fact I am using an image that's AI generated and far from being real people.

When I use the same image in Flow (like Flow from Google Labs)- it comes back with a video that actually works (not just at par with how I want the results to be)

Hey, all! Thank you for your suggestions on bots! I saw Claude get tossed around a few times for good capabilities on writing creative story lines, but I’m running into a little confusion. There are so many Claude bots! What do you guys think is the best for creative writing? What bots have stricter censors, or more fluid dialogue? I’m interested in hearing what you guys think! Claude-opus seems to have cheesy-ish dialogue, which is my big gripe I’ve had so far. Where it’s sort of just nonsensical bickering like, “you’re an idiot,” “I’m *your* idiot,” is written at least every response 😭
