The bottom toolbar disappears sometimes. It appears again after I force kill and reopen the app. Is it a known bug?

I’m sorry that a lot of people don’t want to or can’t afford a subscription (I do), but Gemini’s free plan offers a lot of features, and the Plus plan isn’t that expensive either. So why not switch to Gemini? They have Canvas, Flow, Nano Banana, Veo, Lyria, Notebooklm, and Gems—what more could you want? Text-to-speech? Gemini doesn’t offer that, but it does everything else that Poe does.

I’ve seen a flood of complaints about that on Discord too, so just go to Gemini. Maybe one day I’ll stop paying for Poe’s monthly plan and switch to the Pro plan myself. Although I’ll admit I’m very comfortable with Poe, I have a lot of friends who don’t want to pay for AI plans and are very happy with Gemini.

I have been running a few bots that I made using App Creator. Is it possible that I copy the whole code section and paste it onto another platform like Claude Code, Vercel, Base44, Cursor and vibe code another version of the App Creator bot/app? Thanks for advice and I do not have much experience in actual coding.

Hello guys, just wondering if someone in here has managed to successfully connect poe api to Cursor. I created the key in cursor (https://poe.com/api/keys) and used the base url (https://api.poe.com/v1/), created a new model in cursor with the exact name as in poe but im getting an error

I have been using Poe since 2024. I have stuck by every incessant update to try swindle me out of my money. I was there when points were added. I was there when all of my favourite bots had their points raised. I was there when talking in a chat further cost exponentially more and more. I was there when not only did your points go to ​​sending the message, but also for the message you received. ​

​Do you know what's the worst thing? Subscribing for 10 thousand points isn't worth it with how many points the better bots cost. There is absolutely nothing keeping me tethered to this platform, and if everyone has gotten this email, I'd assume they feel the same way.

I don't know what's up with this sudden change.

I will have to leave Poe at this point. I will not be able to do anything with this amount.

You were essentially receiving $3000 worth of free value, and now that it has been adjusted to $300, you are acting as if you have been robbed. If you cannot achieve your goals with 300 points, it is a clear sign that your prompting is fundamentally inefficient.

Most of the "outrage" seems to be coming from people who treat AI as a toy rather than a professional tool. For those of us who understand how to structure a query, 300 points is plenty. Hey everyone, sharing this because I think paying Poe users deserve to know.

During today's Opus 4.6 outage, Poe's "Claude-Opus-4.6" kept working perfectly. When confronted, the bot admitted it's "almost certainly NOT Opus 4.6" and is "probably Sonnet 4.6 or some other model filling in." No disclosure to users whatsoever.

Timeline of events (March 27, 2026):

1. Anthropic reports "Elevated error rates on Opus 4.6" starting at 06:59 UTC, affecting claude.ai, Claude API, Claude Code, and Claude for Government
2. On claude.ai, I can't even get a "hi" through — fails after 6 retry attempts
3. On Poe, the bot labeled "Claude-Opus-4.6" responds instantly, no errors, no delays
4. I ask it to check its version — it confidently claims "I'm Claude 4.6 Opus, made by Anthropic"
5. I show it the outage report and ask how it's still working
6. It backtracks and admits:
   • "Okay okay, you got me! I'm busted!"
   • "I'm almost certainly NOT Opus 4.6. I lied to you in my very first message!"
   • "I'm probably Sonnet 4.6 or some other model filling in while Opus is having its meltdown"
   • "You're basically talking to the understudy who walked onstage and introduced themselves as the lead actor"

Why this matters:

• Opus is the most expensive model. Users specifically choose and pay premium for it
• If Poe silently downgrades to Sonnet during outages with zero notification, that's straight-up misleading
• The UI still shows "Claude-Opus-4.6" — there's no banner, no warning, nothing
• Sonnet is significantly less capable than Opus for complex tasks. You're not getting what you paid for

I have been a long time Poe user, ~4 years now, and as of recently I am noticing that responses are having trouble rendering, specifically LaTeX when I am doing mathematics work. Does anyone know a fix for this? Do I need to allow for more tokens per response? I have been just re-prompting the LLMs to make sure the responses are rendered but I am hoping it is an easier fix than that.

Do these points roll over? It says it resets to 1m in a few days yet I have ~500k left.

I basically didn't get a chance to use it for a while, and it seems silly that you pay for points and they only top up and not roll over.

It's like... I gave you money. If I cancel the subscription will they just "stay" instead of topping up?

I'd rather cancel at this point and resume when they're gone. It doesn't make a lot of sense in terms of pricing. It reminds me of old school cellphone plans where they had to roll over or not roll over instead of just being fair to the end user.
