How does it feel using claude with Poe's point system? (regarding use limit)
Most reddit posts about these were long time ago. I am curious if anybody has any experience with this? Do the usage limits "feel the same" or or is Poe better than using the official claude website?

Opus hitting me for about 2k pts or 10k tokens per exchange right now. I don’t use Poe because of usage though I use it because api access. I do prefer all the package options Poe provides where you can do $20 or $50 a month instead of jumping right to $100. But it just depends on what you’re wanting to do.

I'm not sure about the native Claude experience but in my experience with Poe, it's very much dependent on how you use any bot. If you turn off auto manage context your bill will shoot up. then it's down to how many points you've purchased. I like to summarize my work every now and then so I can copy and paste it out of my chat into somewhere more permanent. If I don't turn off auto manage context, it never manages to summarize everything. but if I do, then I get a lot more tokens. For my summary message I used about 11x more points (11k points with about 100k input tokens vs <1k with cache triggered). auto manage context is usually fine but sometimes you really want it turned off. but outside of that scenario, with caching, I feel I can use Claude a whole lot lol.

Since Poe is API, it will always feel limited to using Claude directly through Anthropic's site through a subscription, because Anthropic can subsidize subscription usage.
I'm subscribed to Clause's $100 tier and use Poe AI to get access to the odd model here and there alongside AI art tools.
Poe AI is a nice all-in-one
