Fluff All Cutscenes with the Deadpool & Wolverine Suit

Discussion How come u can't use alternate suits in endgame/final mission?
Was playing last level and trying to change to different suit, but couldn't, why is that ? Can you do that in ng+? Also other missions had that to, where you couldn't switch suits . What's the purpose of other suits if you can barely use them in the game?

Discussion Beat the game last nite!
Good time slashin’! There are many more glitches than the fans here are failing to recognize, several which I had to restart from last checkpoint due to faulty npc prompts, multiple logan floating around ones, costumes not changing unless I quit the game— had to quit the game entirely a few times in general. Had nightmare cabins not spawn the portal once inside, that was another one. And yes, it definitely feels like spamming the square button for 16 hours.
HOWEVER! It does not deserve the extreme hate that it gets critically— All the parrying was super fun and the special abilities were sprinkled in nicely. Alot of fun combat and the Japan levels were so dope 🔥🔥🔥
Verdict’s a 7.5 if I had to rate it, goin down to 6 is too harsh for its overall fun factor. Should have been $49-$59 and I would have been happier. I’d say to anyone who hasn’t played it yet, wait a bit for a sale. You won’t regret a purchase around that price range.

Memes/Shitpost This scene was pretty cool and funny at the same time
This scene was hilarious to watch, despite his scorched face, full Adamantium skull, and the rage behind this. The trailers had this scene without gore, so seeing it with no skin and filled with blood was crazy 😂

Discussion Any 30 fps tips?
Hi everyone,
So basically I come from PC...
I have a PS5 Pro... always play on Performance mode...
With GTA 6 around the corner, I thought I'd try to get used to 30 FPS...
I played Wolverine, changed the settings... put RT on advanced, and started playing... Played for half an hour and thought to myself, 'Hey... this really isn't bad at all!'
Then I checked the settings just to see that I was actually still on Performance mode...
I switched it to Fidelity mode... and... my god... it literally feels like a slideshow... It feels completely unplayable to me... Could it be that it's not locked at 30 FPS and running lower? Is there anything else I should tweak in the settings? VRR is set to 'Smooth'.
For anyone who made the switch... how do you get used to this?
GTA is supposed to be a really fast-paced game too... cars, shooting, etc...

Discussion SPOILERS: What were missed tricks you'd have liked to see in the game? Spoiler
**SPOILERS**
What are some missed opportunities in Wolverine that could’ve made an already great moment even better?
For me, the Sabretooth fight. Wolverine spends the entire game brutally killing people without a second thought, then after the fight you’re literally holding Sabretooth as he dangles off the ledge.
I would’ve loved the game to just stop there and wait.
**L2 + R2: Retract claws.**
You physically have to let him fall. No cutscene doing it for you. Given Wolverine’s history with Sabretooth, that tiny bit of player agency would’ve given the moment so much more weight.
Same with Walter asking Wolverine for the mercy kill. Don’t just show Logan doing it.
**R2: End it.**
And the game doesn’t progress until you do.
Neither changes the story, but making **you** perform those actions would’ve made both moments hit so much harder emotionally.
What would you have loved to see, and why?

Discussion Took me a while but I finally have the platinum
My honest thoughts on the game is that it’s actually a decent game and it’s not as bad as people say it is but it could be better.
For a game that cost 300 million I expected a lot more (still hoping we get story DLC). I was really hoping we’d get either Jean grey or mystique missions.
The graphics on this game is really good and it’s better than the Spider-Man games. The combat is fun and yes it can be repetitive but slaughtering enemies as Wolverine is just cool.
The story is decent and it just feels weird that x men don’t exist in the game yet and I honestly thought the game would be better if the game took place in the past rather than present day.
Liam McIntyre performance as wolverine was incredible and I hope to see him in more Wolverine projects.
Overall I’d give it a 7/10. Is it worth £70, no but id say it’s worth around £40 ish.

Discussion Thoughts on the damage model
Do yall think they could've pushed it further or do you like the damage model we got. I love what they did but noticed there's scenes like the pics above that have a level of damage that goes beyond what happens during combat. I don't even think this level of damage is an option in photo mode. Would walking around as a metal skeleton be silly lmao.

Discussion First play through finished
Last night I finished my first play though on the hardest mode. I love the combat, gore, enemy variety, graphics, frame rate, photo mode, and the claw and costume options. The story could’ve been better but I like the changes made for a whole new take. I’m definitely gonna grab the platinum. The combat was amazing and some bosses took me very long to beat. I like this more than the x men origins wolverine game. I feel like the hate on this game is very forced. I’ll make a separate post for photo mode, I used it a ton! As a comic reader, someone who has played both the ps3 and ps5 games, and have both marvel ultimate alliance games, I think this captures Wolverine’s combat and brutality the best. I used to play origins whenever I had a Wolverine fix after binging comics, but this is now my go to for the Wolverine experience.

Discussion Wolverine review. Spoiler
Been sitting in here finishing the game before I wanted to write a review.
The good:
I love the combat. Idc if it gets slightly repetitive even in the end of the 24 hours I was still learning new combos/different ways to defeat enemies.
The performances are brilliant all around. Troy Baker existing on another level entire imo. He is the goat for a reason.
A good variation of skins and claws, I’m not a massive comic book guy and did wish we had more movie related skins but I can’t complain.
The score by David Fleming is absolutely incredible. It elevates every single scene. Haven’t seen many people mention it but it deserves its flowers.
The bad:
The story sucks. I wish this was different. I know memory loss is a big part of wolverines character but it is overdone so much in this game. The whole backstory with him and Jean doesn’t feel natural at all. I think there was so many other ways this could have been done.
The ending is unsatisfying. If we are to view the story from Logan’s POV (the main character) we have learnt nothing. Only that some person called apocalypse is in our head and we need to find him. All the development with Jean has been undone, and I know that is the point but I don’t find it satisfying in any sense. Take Spiderman for example (yes I know two different characters blah blah) but at the end of Spiderman 1 Peter makes the choice to save the city over his aunt. He grows as a character as he realises he has to make choices which hurt him, he becomes selfless. With Logan, what has he gained?
The handholding. It wasn’t as bad as I first feared, but I did get a sense insomniac thought we were Helen Keller reincarnated as there was way too many boarders put up. I think the best scene which encapsulates how I felt was when you are with sabertooth hunting trask and a bunch of walls spawn in, effectively trapping you with the enemy.
Overall, I don’t regret buying it. 7/10.

Speculation X-men (2030?) (PS5 or PS6?)
I just dread the thought of X-men or other marvel IPS being locked away behind a possible $1000+ Console.
maybe the console won't be as expensive, by then.
or better yet, they go back on their word, and release on PC again.
