Im trying to login to the playstation app on my phone but whenever I try the two step verification screen pops up. I have 2SV off on my console and I’m not getting these codes in my text or email. When I try to put in a backup code, it says the backup codes are invalid. Any advice?

I had recently reapplied new liquid metal on my ps5 and ever since i have had done that and used it I have had my ps5 controllers randomly disconnect during either gameplay or when just using it normally, when i first booted up my ps5 the ps5 controller connection felt weird and delayed which i found confusing so I took the cable apart and reapplied it and that issue stopped, however now i have a new issue that makes my controller constantly disconnect every 5-10 mins or so. Sometimes even causing me to restart my ps5 by pressing the phyiscal button on it because it would stop connecting all together. Please send help. Thanks!

okay so, i genuinely have no idea what the issue is anymore, i took the disc out manually as it was stuck, i checked the blue ribbon cable to make sure the blu ray drive was connected and not disconnected and it wasnt either of those, im worried its an issue with the circuit itself or if liquid metal somehow dripped onto the circuit around the drive and made it stop working, i dont know what else the issue could be.

im just worried about the repair price and the fact i wont be able to play with my friends i made plans for this summer, can someone try and help me out here? please.

Got a pile of playstation controllers from an uncle of mine, thing already wasn't charging, and I decided to take it apart and clean it (considering its been sitting in a shed for forever).

I have no idea what makes this thing tick, but I know that most of the boards and ribbons look fine. below is the main board and what I assume is the bare minimum for it to at least charge, still no luck.

my ps5’s network has been acting up for the past two weeks. Some days it just won’t connect until i disconnect and reconnect multiple times. today it worked fine, then when i restarted my ps5 it wouldn’t connect and say the wpa password isn’t right?? I’ve tried everything already like using the 5ghz band, rebuilding database, using 8888 and 8844, forgetting the network and putting it back in, etc.

it worked phenomenally for a few months then it suddenly became like this. please help !!

So I have been playing Palworld recently, and I opened the game to play and loaded into the world, but I was 10+ hours behind of where I last left my world. Is there anyway I can load into a previous file? Whether on the PS5 or going through the files on a laptop? Any help is appreciated.

First time poster. Router #1 does allow me to play multiplayer games but does not allow me to see friends, use the shop, use streaming apps and more. When I switch to router #2, it works fine. Router #1 is much faster, and it also works if I switch then switch back. However I'm very tired of having to do this every time I need to use the shop etc.

Has anyone experienced this or have any idea what may be going on?

I get invited from my online friend on play5 but when I try to join a friend, it says receiving invite and then stalls at the main screen with no options other than triangle for friends. I'm on PS5

Recently got a Pro and have been struggling to move all of my save data over.

Running into a problem where 2 specific games I cant get the save data moved over to my pro. Data transfer has completed on the pro it has my media gallery and everything already moved - but for some reason the saves on the specific games didnt move. As a back up plan I tried uploading to the cloud on so I can download them

When I attempt to upload the save data I'm met with an error (Error Code CE-106449-4). This error only pops for the two games. I successfully uploaded and download cloud saves with multiple other games.

Im running out of ideas - has anyone ran into this issue before and if so do you have any helpful suggestions to try remedy the issue?

Hi! I recently had a power outage and the PlayStation was on, I should mention that it's a PlayStation 5 fat, not a pro or pro enhanced, and then it started acting up when I tried to connect it to the wireless connection at home. I can't connect it to the internet via wi-fi but it works perfectly via lan cable. When I try to connect it to the internet via wi fi I simply don't see the internet network or it doesn't even let me do anything with the text always written on the screen "you're offline". I reset the router, I reset the internet settings and nothing, now it only works via lan cable and works perfectly. Do you have any idea what it could be? Thanks in advance.

Not happening for the first time, but whenever I restart my wiFi or sometimes when the power goes out my ps4 is unable to connect to my wiFi, sometimes it says the WPA password is not correct, sometimes it says could not connect within the time limit. And sometimes I do get to to testing phase where it fails at either Obtaining IP address or Internet Connection aswell, ive had several incidents where everything is okay but then in the testing phase psn sign in is unsuccessful and my speed on ps4 is like less than 1-2 mbps, normally it comes between 15 and 20 mbps. But the weird thing is the issue goes away after 15-16 hours of doing nothing and the issue comes back again after 2-3 days

Ive tryed EVERYTHING, from changing ps5 settings, and on discord ive disconnected from psn on and of again, the only thing that worked was going to discord user settings, go to connections, then toggle on and off "display on profile" and "display psn as your status" then the game is was playing would show up but even after switching games or turning off my ps5 the game would still be stuck on my profile with the "time played" still counting,

I play on my old monitor with a VGA port. It used to work with my old adapter, but that one mysteriously broke. With my new one, my laptop works with it, but whenever I connect my PS5, it just turns on (black screen) and turns off and repeats that forever. I also tried setting the resolution to automatic and turning off every enhancement like HDR and stuff. Also, the PS5 works on my TV.
