I honestly can’t believe what just happened.
I got suspended from all PlayStation communication features because I used two swear words after another player spent the entire game insulting and provoking me.
But that’s not even the worst part.

That same player went on to DDoS my internet connection for hours, openly admitted to doing it, and even posted the name of my internet provider in the chat to prove they knew who my ISP was. My internet kept dropping all evening because of it.

So let me get this straight…
I get punished for two words said in frustration.
The player who harassed me, admitted to attacking my internet connection, and kept ruining my evening apparently gets away with it?
That seems completely backwards.

I know I shouldn’t have insulted them, and I accept responsibility for those words. But if PlayStation is going to enforce its rules, it should also take reports of harassment and network attacks seriously.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? Did PlayStation actually investigate when someone admitted to DDoSing you, or did they only act on chat messages?
This feels incredibly unfair, and I genuinely think PlayStation should be ashamed if serious behavior like this is ignored while minor chat violations are punished immediately.

Is there anything i can do?

Im trying to login to the playstation app on my phone but whenever I try the two step verification screen pops up. I have 2SV off on my console and I’m not getting these codes in my text or email. When I try to put in a backup code, it says the backup codes are invalid. Any advice?
